Woke up December 31st in excruciating pain. Could not get in to see any doctors for 4 days because it was not only a holiday but a weekend. Saw my regular chiropractor after the weekend - who proceeded to adjust me and make it worse. Saw a pain specialist who gave me a million pills, an MRI and told me I needed surgery. I was walking around with my arm straight in the air because it gave me a slight amount of relief. I barely slept for 2 weeks.
Referred to Dr Elmer by a friend and had I not been referred, I probably would have left. The office was chaotic and out of the ordinary. I was put into a room and made to watch a video on autism??? (later found out the girl who put me in there was new). It took the doctor a good long time to get in to see me. But I was in so much pain I laid on the floor and ignored the video and waited. X-rays and an exam later and the doc said he could fix me. They X-ray had me with weights strapped to my head and waist. It was all very bizarre. Again, I was desperate so at the recommendation of my friend, I went ahead and did it. Thank God. Within a week I was probably 75% improved. Two weeks I was not taking any pain killers or even Tylenol. Here we are a month and a half later and I am probably 95% better. I actually feel GOOD.

Do it. Expect it to be different. If ordinary had worked, why would anyone be looking for a new doctor?
