I am please with the doctor. But the front office is rude, short and terrible customer service. I have been on hold for almost an hour and then hung up on several times today. They do not even tell you they are going to place you on hold. You ask questions and the NP and MA give you attitude. It was not like this last year. So I am not sure what has changed this year.

The doctor is amazingly patient with his patients. He listens to your concerns and cares deeply about what best works for each particular patient. I have been coming here for over 15 years and I will always continue to come here for years to come. His staff is amazing as well 👍

The doctor is amazing but Ann that is responsible for taking phone calls is really rude.. I usually only leave positive reviews but I'm sorry Ann just because you couldn't hear me for less than a second and state "ok I guess not" then hang up on me was super awesome of you so I must thank you for being "patient" with me... Ty for responding Dr Syed, this is Jeff and my wife is Kat.. it wasn't any of your direct staff which are all amazing.. it was for sure the answering service.. again the staff at this location is fantastic and deserves recognition, but the lady Ann in the answering service location isn't very patient or nice.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! As I am clearly not the only person who has had very negative experiences with his staff. The girls that answer the phone (Antonia and Endeara) are the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever spoken with. Antonia told me he had an appointment at the same time I had a specialist appointment, so I canceled my specialist as it is hard to get in to Hussain. She was very combative, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I called back and spoke with endeara (who wasn't much better) then let me know I didn't have an appointment and it was pending and needed approval from upper management since I am considered a new patient (haven't been for 5 years due to insurance change) which also wasn't explained to me. Being that these girls have been with him for years, that is something I should have been told, especially since i told her i was cancelling my other appointment. I received a phone call 3 days later from one of the rude girls in the office who left a message saying that it was not approved. So now I have no appointments with any doctor based on lack of information of not being told that this appointment was pending from the very rude girls on the phone. Do yourself a favor and find a more competent doctors office with a nice staff.

Dr Hussain and his office staff are simply the best. I have been a patient there for over 5 years and they take care of me like I am family. They are always very quick to respond to my needs and work around my very busy schedule. They take their time with me when I am in the office. I cannot say enough kind words about every visit to their office. Reception to vitals to good solid time with the physician to check out and follow up appointments. I’ve been going here for the last eight years and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is very professional and welcoming, they definitely go above and beyond for their clients especially when attempting to schedule referral appointments with other doctors. Many times I’ve had difficulties getting ahold of these referral offices and I’ve called back to Dr. Hussain’s office to get assistance from his staff and like magic I received calls back from those offices to schedule appointments. Now on to Dr. Hussain, he is by far the best primary care doctor I’ve had and believe me when I say I’ve had many (especially while I was in the Army) he is very personable and is a master in his craft. He’s helped me with many different issues from anywhere between high blood pressure to abnormal hormonal levels. I recommend all my coworkers and family members to him. I’d give him a 10/10 stars but unfortunately I can only do 5.

Dr. Hussain and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Hussain is very patient and talks to you as a friend. He is not only my doctor, but my fathers as well. The whole staff is always so helpful and welcoming. They take amazing measures to keep their patients safe from COVID as well. My family and I have been patients with Dr. Hussain for about 8 years now. We are extremely grateful for the care that he and his staff provide to our family. Dr. Hussain has managed to help me keep my asthma and and depression under control. His bedside manner along with his ability to listen and explain to me the process of medications and importance of healthy alternatives have saved my life. The staff are equally as awesome. Upon reading the reviews of others and being in the medical field , I cant help but think those that have left negative reviews probably should find other providers , because I would not want them to be taking the time and effort away from such an amazing staff to deal with rude people.

The office staff, office manager and male medical assistant are exceptionally unprofessional. I agree with other reviews that describe the staff as rude, neurotic, and unacceptable. In addition, I feel an obligation to warn others that this office is not protecting its patients by practicing safe social distancing. The medical assistant had no regard for my well being as a high risk patient and severely lacked communication skills, compassion and consideration. My experience with this office was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a medical setting. Since the staff will not leave the nurse practitioner a message to call me, I am making this request to the nurse practitioner through this platform. If the doctor installed cameras in the front office area and observed the way his staff is abusing his patients, I believe he would replace most of his office staff.

Dr. Syed Hussain is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have seen. I have had the pleasure of having him be my doctor for many many years and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my medical care. He will take as much time to listen to any and all issues I am having and if need be he refers to a specialist. He has made the quality of my life so much. I feel like family when I see him and I know I am getting the best care possible. I have many chronic complicated conditions and he takes the time to address every concern I have. It's nice to actually have a doctor who will truly care and listen as opposed to just popping in and out of the room. I just have to start this by saying this stuff is so rude it is so unacceptable and please for the love of God never go here . I have been a patient there for about eight years. The doctor was great. I just saw them July 22 and I called today which is July 30 to make my follow up appointment, and they told me that they are dropping me as a patient. I asked why they told me it was none of my business and they can do what they want. I have type one diabetes and I am having serious issues with the medications I was prescribed on the 22nd. They said that’s not their problem. My father works for the medical board and they are now being reported. I would not go there if I were you because they are now going to be going through some serious legal problems. It is called abandonment and they are supposed to give you at least 30 days notice -Tara Spencer

I've been going to Dr Hussein for the past several months he is a very caring doctor he's done so much for me he got me into a diabetic foot specialist and vascular surgeon I used to go to Apex Medical Center and the doctor's there at Apex Medical Center didn't even care all the doctor did was tell me that I needed to get gastric bypass surgery nothing else but Dr Hussein took the extra steps to check out every detail to help me get my feet looked at and when I went to the diabetic foot specialist the doctor there told me that my feet didn't look that bad so if you are looking for a really good doctor I'd recommend Dr Hussein he's the best Doctor I've seen in the past 30 years I've lived here in Las Vegas

I was a first time patient who was scheduled in after a visit to the emergency room a few pays prior. While there was a wait to see the doctor, it was certainly worth the wait, Once I entered the exam room, I was treated like I was the only person in the office. The doctor was very thorough and answered all the questions that I had. I’ve decided to make this practice my family doctor and already have my wife scheduled in to see them. I've been going to this doctor a couple of times already I think he's the best doctor i've ever been to he's really caring and listen's to everything you have to tell him he found other things wrong with me that needed to be taken care of I've had a swollen ankle on my left foot I've been to southwest medical center I've been to Apex Medical Center and none of the doctor's there knew what was wrong with but this Dr. Syed Hussain he knew what was wrong with my left ankle and said that I had edema or blood pooling in my left ankle he gave me some medication for edema and now my left ankle is no longer swollen plus I got a couple of natural directics like horsetail and fenugreek to take with the medication this doctor gave me for edema if you're looking for a really good doctor I would highly suggest Dr Syed Hussain

The staff here is extremely rude to their patients. Seems like this is something been on going based on previous reviews. Dr. Hussain is really nice and listens to his patients. But he will continue to loose patients if his staffs is rude and has an attitude. This lady who claim She is IRA Manager, who should never work for this kind of field. If this doctor is any good he then is a victim of his own staff, first victim I might add, I saw this doctor only one time but I decided to go somewhere else because of extremely bad communication with a neurotic unprofessional staff, it maybe due to that mountain size chip they have on the shoulder, my favorite incident was when she was reading to me my CT results telling me that there is nothing wrong with me but wait my CT appointment is in a couple of weeks I said, still with the same rude lingo and an I don't care voice she replied oh give me your name then I will go to your account oh because I don't have your name that's why? Excuse me I said whose results you were reading then SHE HUNG UP. then I receive a call from Tewara now I hung up because Tewara is the mother of all neurotics and she was already being loud out of breath on phone also Tewara will talk all over you and at the same time as you at every turn making a conversation impossible. I called their receptionist to ask her to inform the poor doctor that I am going somewhere else and won't be coming back, she replied with two words "OKAY BYE" LOL

Dr. Hussain took care of my elderly father for many years, and he always took his time to listen to him and communicate to make sure my father understood what was going on. He always made my father feel he was part of the conversation unlike many doctors that would talk to only me and disregard my father all together. The dr. Is good. BUT the receptionist suck. They don't listen don't look at the files of patients doesnt care if the person is in pain or not. Ive been in pain the last week and a half tried many times to get the receptionist to file a prescription and all they do is give me the run around thanks to them i gotta go to the hospital just to get rid of pain.

Hard to get them to quickly refill perscriptions even when given as much as a weeks notice. The staff takes it's time about taking care of these things. This can be a problem for a patient who is required to take certain medicines when they take days to respond to the pharmacies messages.

Dr Hussain has been my 92 year old fathers doctor for over 2 years now. He is wonderful about actually listening to his patient, and taking time to understand, treat and explain things. We never feel rushed like with most doctors. His office staff are all very pleasant and helpful always. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Hussain was my doctor when I had an emergency medical problem and was in Desert Springs Hospital for several days. Dr. Hussain is extremely intelligent and has up-to-date medical knowledge and experience. Dr. Hussain was very patient and very kind during all of his exams and consultations with me. He asked me a lot of questions to make sure he knew about all my medical and physical problems before he decided what tests I needed to have done so he would give me a correct diagnosis. He patiently explained everything that had happened to me, in language that I (a 58 yr old female) could understand. And he gladly answered all my questions.

Before I checked out he gave me clear plan of action to get back to great health in a short amount of time.

The day I got home from the hospital I called his office and asked his receptionist if he accepted my insurance, AND, if he was accepting new patients. He is, and I feel extremely lucky to have Dr. Hussain as my new doctor! I really do believe I can trust him and his medical knowledge and experience to keep me in my best possible health.

(And, OMG, he is gorgeous! Puts George Clooney to shame!)
