I recently had to undergo a root canal (and let’s be honest, who ever wants that?), but Dr. Douglas Rakich and his team at Endodontic Associates LLC made the experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dr. Rakich is not only incredibly kind and professional but also clearly an expert in his field. He took the time to explain everything, making sure I felt at ease throughout the procedure. His staff was equally wonderful—attentive, friendly, and reassuring from start to finish. If you ever find yourself in need of endodontic care, I highly recommend Dr. Rakich and his team. They truly provide top-notch care!

Do not go to Dr Rakich for a root canal. I had one done in 2017 and my health has been in decline since the day I walked out of the procedure. He told me that his work was ‘perfect,’ and if I’m having pain to consult with a TMJ specialist as it was out of his scope of work. After seeing soooo many doctors trying to relieve the pain, I now have to go to a holistic dentist in Utah and cash pay (very expensive) to fix what Dr Rakich did. If you’re having unexplained health issues, watch Root Cause, a documentary about the horrible effects of root canals. Trust me when I say, DO NOT get a root canal from Dr Rakich. It will ruin your life.

At the time of the procedure, Dr Rakich had to disclose to me that a piece of his instrument broke off and had to be incorporated into the procedure, and that it 'should not affect the outcome.'

In 2025, I finally asked for my records and images from Dr Rakich, whose notes to my dentist at the time said, Prognosis: doubtful. This tooth should be removed.

He never once verbally relayed this to me. He only defended his work as ‘pristine’ and said that another gal recently had come in with the SAME complaints, and he couldn't help either of us. I am beside myself at the lack of respect and honesty from Dr Rakich. My tooth should have come out when I complained of pain 2 MONTHS after the procedure- in OCTOBER 2017. It is now 2025. 2025! I have had a dead tooth in my body for 8 years, wreaking havoc on my digestive system, cardiovascular system, mental health, endocrine system, jaw, ears, eyes, and the list goes on.

If you can avoid getting a root canal, and good doctors will avoid them at all costs, please do. Research and go down every other avenue before letting an Endodontist rip you of your health and well-being.

Dr Rakich is relaxed, steady-handed, and I'm guessing he could do a root canal in his sleep! His expertise, confidence, and calm bedside manor made my experience so easy that my wife is also seeing him. His staff is professional, always answers the phone, and mirror his calm demeanor which makes for a very positive office atmosphere. A++ Thanks Doc, I didn't even feel that shot!

Dr. Rakich was wonderful. He and the assistant made me feel very comfortable and he talked to me about what he was doing the entire time. Even the shots of anesthetic were painless. Great bedside manner and calmed my nerves a lot. The woman that answers the phones was very nice the few times we talked on the phone and she helped me get an appointment quickly. Would recommend this office to anyone needing a root canal.

Dr. Rakich is exceptional. I am a lawyer licensed to practice in Nevada and I also have a Master of Science degree. I believe that health care providers should have superior training, experience, skill, strong work ethic and a passion to provide the very best care to their patients. Dr. Rackich has all this and more. He and his staff put my fears of having Root Canal surgery at ease. The result was excellent. I can't thank Dr. Rakich and his staff enough.
