Went to get a physical for my taxi license. If u are overweight I wouldn't suggest him. He was so focused on my weight that he showed me a joe Rogan video.. he stated that my blood pressure was sky high. He used a very old cuff and tried it twice. I got so nervous that I went to the ER because he stated it was 180 and above. ER stated that it was 123/80.. He made me take this test for sleep apnea and even when he stated it was okay he still said your BMI is so high u should go get a sleep study. He acted like because my weight was high that I was going to die and die soon. Only gave me a year on my physical. Which means next year ill have to pay again.

I would recommend Dr. Gettinger’s office to anyone who is looking for a chiropractor! Dr. Gettinger was always making sure that I was comfortable throughout my three months of treatments, and Mari (Dr. Gettinger’s wife) was greeting me with kind energy and a warm smile every visit. Dr. Gettinger is deeply unethical and shamed me for having a medical condition that requires three medications to manage.

I went to Dr. Gettinger for a physical for a taxi cab company. The first time around he had me do a urine sample. Then when he looked at my medical chart, he only paid attention to one health issue and told me that I would need a psychiatrist note, because he said the medications could have adverse side effects behind the wheel of a vehicle. A little miffed, I went on ahead and got the doctor's note.

When I returned, he told me that I was too fat and needed a sleep apnea test. When I told him that I have yet to stop breathing in my sleep, he claimed that he has to follow federal regulations and his licensure. When I asked him why didn't think about this regarding my having asthma, he said he was too fixated on my other medical issues and did not read my chart thoroughly. Yes, he admitted this. He further said that I could go elsewhere, but I would have to pay out of pocket, knowing that I couldn't afford such. He pontificated about doing thorough examinations and was couldn't risk losing his license. He even told me he could write a prescription for an inhaler as I would have to carry it around even if I don't need it. Everything I previously said is a red flag.

Dr. Getting is not a medical doctor. He's a chiropractor and should only be concerned with musculoskeletal issues. He cannot write a prescription, because it's practicing medicine without a license. He can't give a medical advice about medication or what a patient takes because he did not go to med school. He cannot recommend a sleep apnea test because he does not know medicine in that capacity and is not a medical doctor. He is not qualified to conduct physicals. His fixation on my weight and medication was incredibly sexist and discriminatory. He only kept doing this to string me along and waste my time, because he's getting money from the taxi company.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't trust him with my body, even as a chiropractor.

Dr. Gettinger is a genuine, kind, good doctor, and that's extremely rare to find in Vegas nowadays. I saw him for a DOT physical, not a chiropractic adjustment, but I have no doubt that he's one of the best chiropractors in the city. I won't hesitate to visit him for an adjustment the next time my back or neck goes out.

Went to Dr. Gettinger's office for a DOT Physical. Everything went smoothly, except I found out one of my eyes is weak. Dr. Gettinger provided some lifestyle tips for the ailments I suffer from. This was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Feels like he really knows his stuff.

I have a horrible pain on my back and shoulders, for a moment I was thinking that only surgery would it fix my problems, but I was wrong, Doctor Gettinger was able to fix all that pain I had on my back and shoulders. I wouldn't describe him as a professional only, him and his wife Mary are very kind and treat everyone as they would like to be treated. They care for your health. I went to the right place and I highly recommend them. For sure in the future Mr Gettinger will be the only option for me and my family

This guy is awesome I went in practically in tears because I thought I had sciatica and had been in the worst pain for 5 days after trying a few different places I came across here and from the get go he was so compassionate, he gave me some therapy that has relieved so much pain on the first visit what’s even better about this guy I called to make 4 more appointments and instead of saying yes I’ll take your money let’s get you in for 4 he said do you just want to book 1 more and see how you go ?! I loved that about him and still wanted to book the 4 more to make sure my back heals properly. So all in all I definitely recommend 😀

My fiance and I had a car accident in June and Dr Alan was recommended by my PCP. I was skeptical at first but after my first visit, I felt so comfortable. We see him two to three times a week and every after treatment we feel so relieved from pain. There were several times I went with pulsating/annoying pain on my shoulder blades, he knew exactly what to do and whatever he did my pain was gone when we got done with the treatment. Dr Gettinger and his wife Mary are just amazing people, they treat their patients like family. I highly recommend this clinic, they are very welcoming and very down to earth!

Best Chiropractor I've ever visit! The staff was very nice and friendly! Alan Gettinger is very friendly and took his time with me. I've seen many Dr's and all nice but just kept telling me you have disc herniation and that's it. Alan was kind enough to read the MRI I showed him that I had with me for my back injury and explain exactly waths wrong with me in (DETAIL). he treated my back with therapy and gave me good advice for my back. I was there a few times and he constantly tried to push me to sign a legal lien so he could get more money from MY SETTLEMENT!!
