When we walked in the door for our scheduled appointment, I looked at the closest lady behind the desk and said “we have X and X here” (children’s names)
She looked at me almost confused and with attitude asked “checking in?” I said “yeah” (I thought it was pretty self explanatory, so maybe that’s on me) I stood there waiting, but the lady was no longer looking at me, just doing something behind the desk. The other lady finally told me I was checked in, so we went to sit down. The second Lady explained something to me about one of my children, and the first lady told her she was wrong when she wasn’t. It was awkward.
When Dr. Grant called my oldest back, we took a second because he didn’t say her name correctly, and we were kind of processing before realizing he meant her. He came back in the hallway and called her again. As we were walking toward him, I said “we have X too.” (My other daughter that also had an appointment) His eyebrows went up and he said “let’s do two at a time” while he was walking away.
Which, I thought - there’s only two being seen so we’re good. We went in to the room and I sat down with my toddler on my lap. My middle child was sitting next to the chair I sat in, out of the way (like she always has) and my oldest was still standing. Dr. Grant said something about “not listening” and went out the door, then said “glad to see you are running the show.” One of the kids asked who was going first and he said “whichever one is still breathing” and flung a rolling chair in the room in the direction of my daughter that was on the floor, then left again.
It all happened so fast I hadn’t even had a chance to process what he actually meant about the two at a time/not listening part.
So I got up, we left the room as Dr Grant was coming back and I said “we’ll find somewhere else to go.” He said “no, come back I already have the file” and waved it in the air. He was trying to explain it gets hot in the room and I told him we’ve never done anything different when we come here and I’m not leaving kids in the waiting area.
He tried waving me back again and I repeated we’d find somewhere else because both of them were rude for no reason.
Our whole family has been coming here for a few years, and my husband long before that. Usually the doctor is really nice and fun for the kids, but today I feel absolutely disgusted and disappointed by their attitudes and the aggressiveness of the doctor. I understand people have bad days, but this was completely out of line and scared my children. We won’t be going back.

Exceptional and thorough eye exam , Dr Grant explained all results and findings thoroughly and patiently, this was the best exam i have ever had. The entire office was friendly and helpful which made for a fully satisfied experience.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Grant’s for just over 20 years now. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly. Recently, I started seeing “floaters” in my left eye and became concerned. His staff quickly scheduled an appointment for me. His office has an additional screening/machine to fully see your eye and retina. He pinpointed the large floater and scheduled me for a dilation appointment, just to be sure there wasn’t any additional issues. I’ve had a few eye surgeries so I’m always concerned, plus I’m very near-sighted (-8.5). Thankfully, all is well. He took the time to explain the anatomy of the eye, options I have and concerns to look out for the in the future. Additionally, his staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him! I’ve referred my husband and others there as well.

Pushy and I didn't know I had to tell them I wanted to be fitted for contacts. This is new to me and I thought that was included in my prescription. It was not, and my prescription did not have my PD on it. I did not notice until I went to buy glasses online and I couldn't use the prescription Grant gave me.

I chose to go with a different optometrist that had a better website that explained everything. Grant's website has no online scheduling and hasn't been updated since Covid. before 2021.

Grant is a very nice guy but I'm not going back.

Dr. Grant is amazing! He is so wonderful with kids, my kids are already looking forward to their next visit! From the very beginning the experience was excellent. The lady who answered the phone was patient and kind, taking the time to help me straighten out my insurance information and making sure I got the most benefit from it. Dr. Grant personally came out to bring us in, which really showed how caring he is. He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and made my son feel very comfortable during his first eye exam for glasses. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and makes everything so easy. We feel so welcomed and are truly thankful to have found such a great eye doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Grant and his team! 🥰

The doctor and staff at this office are phenomenal! The team makes you feel valued and important. Dr. Grant comes out to the lobby and calls you back and then walks you out. When you call- they answer the phone and help you immediately or will call you back.

Normally, I go to a Target optometrist, however, this time I wanted to try something different. Dr. Steven was amazing. He’s very personable, funny and detail oriented. Dr. Steven noticed my contact lenses were three strengths lower than my reading glasses and baseline vision. The new strength in my contacts definitely addressed my concerns.

We walked in for our appointment, my husband and I for some reason we weren’t on the books. (3:45 appointments)
Dr. stayed late and we were taken care of with minimal wait.
They called as they said they would about a week later to pick up!
No real complaints here😊 thanks for giving us good customer service

I will not be taking my son back to this location. I was told his glasses will be ready after thanksgiving but was ready a few days later and i never got a call or a follow up call. First and last visit finding him a better location

They need better training with whoever is taking phone calls. Rude and don't really feel heard from them. Felt like they were impatient with me and didn't feel welcome at all. On the flipside when I got there the doctor was really kind and staff were helpful.

I highly recommend this office and this doctor. Dr. Grant is very personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. His staff is also wonderful. We went there for an appointment for my daughter. We were in and out for our check-in, appointment, and glasses purchase in 27 minutes. Their cleanliness and safety protocols are very impressive. Even covid wasn't going around, it's great knowing the doctors/staff are proactive between each patient and before touching our faces and going near our eyeballs!
We've been to several different eye doctors in the past and they were all mediocre. I've never found one we liked where we didn't feel rushed until we went to this place. I like how the doctor here did the visit from start to finish. We've been to other places where we received the wrong glasses prescription because my daughter would say it still wasn't clear but the technician would rush through because they were already running an hour behind. This office had none of those issues! Dr. Grant flipped through the letters patiently until my daughter was able to see clearly. He was quick, efficient, and on time but never once made us feel rushed. He explained what he was doing and talked directly to my daughter as well. Great bedside manner!
We plan on sticking with this place.

Don’t waste your time or money. I felt as if my best interest was not important and they only had their hand out for money. Dr. Grant will tell you you aren’t a candidate for corrective surgery in order to not lose future business. His staff can be friendly when it’s convenient to them. One female on Dr Grant’s staff is utterly rude. Their pricing is extremely high and ridiculous. I found the same frames and contacts for a small fraction of the price at nearly every place I checked. I saved a lot of money when I stopped going to Dr. Grant.

Dr. Grant is a nice guy and very friendly. In fact, he's a little too friendly when he decides to gab about his family, kids. Maybe he thinks it's good bedside manner, but I think it's unprofessional and wastes time on more important patient visit stuff. The last visit he talked so much about his son that he forgot to dilate my eyes for my yearly exam. I do believe that's necessary. He then said he would show me the VSP plan flyer but again forgot to do that. The front office staff never gave me any problems, but they're not the friendliest bunch. No smiles when you walk in, which is too bad. The guy that fits your glasses is a nice and professional guy, but a bit on the cold side because he doesn't like to say much. I think it's time to move on to another optometrist. Bye Dr. Grant!

Giving three starts, because of the front desk. I love Dr. Grant which is why I still come here, but I've been coming to this office for years, and the front desk always has an I don't care voice and attitude, always rise. Amazing! This was my first time getting glasses and they just made it so awesome. The Doctor was great, really funny and easy to talk to. The one part I was worried about was finding the right frames for my face but no problem there thanks to the technician. She was so amazing, helpful, and spent the time with me to find the frames that fit me, my face and personality. Thank you to you all for making my visit and first time such a great experience! Omg from front office staff to the doctor to Ken that helps out with picking your frames amazing. I came in with my three little ones and I wish I would have gotten her name but fd lady short brown hair was super sweet she heard my middle child cry and gave her paper and crayons. Once they called me for my eye exam the doctor was so sweet and caring with me and my girls my three year old and my two year old were getting a little impatient during my eye exam dr. Grant had no problem with stopping in between for me to tend to my girl. He was so patient . And then ken at check out was just a sweet heart . I will truly recommend them to all my friends and family the best in town love it. Expectional customer service

My husband had appointment at 12... At 1230 He asked when He would be seen.... And the lady said the dr was running behind and then he took a WALK IN before him ...Not to mention the old ladies up front were talking extremely rude about another employee.... Loud enough that I, a patient, could hear. Those old ladies need manners and need to learn what customer service is. I will never go back
