Had a receptionist quote us for what we thought was a simple problem for a broken veneer. After x rays a recementation would not be possible and extraction of the whole tooth would be necessary. I had such a wonderful experience at this office. I have had three visits to this office in the last couple weeks due to needing a procedure done and each time was absolutely amazing. I have severe dental anxiety and I was able to get through today’s appointment without needing any sort of sedative for the first time since I was a kid. The office itself is clean and welcoming, and the staff have always been pleasant. Unfortunately, the biggest challenge has been the wait time. Each time I’ve accompanied my friend for an appointment, the wait to see the dentist has been at least 30 minutes past the scheduled time.

While patients are expected to arrive promptly, the same level of consideration for patients’ schedules doesn’t seem to be reflected on the office’s end. The appointment time has not been very indicative of when the visit will actually begin, which can be difficult when planning the rest of the day.

It’s a nice office environment overall, but improving punctuality and reducing wait times would make the experience much better for patients.

I went in for a cleaning, The x-rays found an infection under one of my back Molars which had to be extracted. Dr. Nam Pham Did a good job without trying to hurt me too much. He numbed my tooth as much as possible for my pain. He was really thorough explaining which medicines I would have to take and what the next step will be. He texted next day to see how I was doing.

My wife went here and had dental work done. They told her that her insurance was in network and then they informed her after the procedure that they are not in network, so we had to pay out of pocket several thousand dollars.

Additionally after they pulled her teeth they prescribed her a fluoroquinolone antibiotic which according to FDA guidelines should only be used when no other alternative antibiotic is available. These antibiotics have a block box warning for severe side effects including Achilles tendon rupture, nervous system damage and aortic dissection.

Irresponsible and unprofessional. I suggest the prescribing dentists educate themselves on the prescribing guidelines for fluoroquinolone antibiotics.

To start with, I take my teeth very seriously and DO NOT take picking a dentist lightly! I am very picky when it comes to quality of work, cost, and comfort.

Henderson Modern Dentistry hits all of the above marks with flying colors. They are very informative and up front when it comes to procedures and work that needs to be done. And it isn’t just talk, they take the time to go over everything before they touch your teeth; showing pictures, and X-rays along the way. All of their equipment and techniques are also very up to date and modern.
Then comes cost, they are very fair, and work with their patients very well. I had a procedure done where the dentist thought I was getting another type of crown than the one I paid for done, and he upgraded my crown for free because it was his mistake.
Last is comfort, I have had a lot of dental work done in my life, and this place is by far the best at patient comfort! I have had two crowns done now and haven’t felt a thing! Not even the shots were painful. I am a hard patient to numb completely, and they got me all numbed on the first try.
Whether you just moved to Vegas and need a dentist, or are looking to change, I would highly recommend checking this business out. They are worth the drive no matter where you are coming from in Vegas. ( I drive in from Boulder City just to use them).

This was seriously the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. Not only did I have a dental emergency and they got me in as soon as possible. I had a veneer tooth break and they literally were able to fix it on the spot. The office has the most efficient equipment I’ve ever seen any dentist office have in my life. They literally made my tooth right in front of me. Dr. Mugleston was the best. Beyond nice and took excellent care of me. It might be a little far from my house but I had the best experience so you know I’ll be coming back here again and again. Couldn’t say enough good things.

It started with emergency crowns, which were done in house. The appointment was with Dr. Anghel The person placing them took an x-ray after every fitting and correction of placement, which was at least 4 total-on top of the initial x-rays at the start. Weird, but ok. I went back a month later for extractions with Kim, 3 teeth, no issues, great experience!. I had scans done before the extractions for partials. I waited over 3 months, finally scheduled an appointment to get additional crowns, to find out my scans were never received. No biggie....stuff happens. Anghel agrees crowns are needed, but we cannot do them in house because of my "unique situation"? Fine, I am committed to saving my teeth, so let's do this. After 2 alginate molds, one before and one after modifying the teeth. I was given the later alginate mold filled with ??? and told to bite down. She pulled the mold off and those were my temporary crowns. 🤔 I asked why I didn't get a regular temp crown fitted and she had no answer. I can feel the excess...stuff...between my tooth and temp crown, like messy, rough edges...😂. Unfortunately I have to finish this due to insurance/billing (btw, the ladies at the desk are amazing). I am apprehensive about this as Anghel seems to be present only when drilling, then you see a few other people. I get it. He is a consultant and is looking for "high quality patients". I must not be that, lol. Final kicker? Hours after leaving the office ..I got a call telling me...wait for it ..my scans didn't go through again and I needed to return (my commute is 95 miles). I literally LOL'd. In the store. I am looking for a professional dentist who is interested in providing a high quality treatment...I will let you know.
Edit: tooth 17 temp crown popped off....this is what it looks like. 🤣 The temp crown still on the other tooth. Will update Tuesday when crowns are fitted. This place is a joke.
Update: drove 90 miles to find out I don't have any crowns to replace the incompetent temp crowns. I can't get partials until the new scan for crown, 2 more weeks for crown, THEN new scan for partials. 6 months waiting on partials, temp crowns...more teeth pain than before. Still need a cleaning, but they wouldn't do it until 6 months after my initial emergency crowns. Ha....1st dentist to ask me to wait 6 months to get my teeth cleaned, without ever cleaning my teeth. Going to my insurance next to file a complaint.

Asked for copies of billing...she had stapled another customer's payment plan to my paperwork. Sigh.

Love this office and team. They take great care of my family as well. Johanna/paulo are the best hygienist and truly care about my dental/health. Very weird experience, they told me they were going to do a procedure on me that day due to potential infection . I was ready to pay whatever it takes . Then the dentist disappeared a lady came showing me all the potential statements. Which was fined felt like a crazy sales pitch thing . I said im ok with the first procedure ( due to emotional anxiety) and then told me that no services are available to me today .and the hygienist is also not available. I kinda had to remind them about an appointment to continue to pending procedure. Left me with a roller coaster emotional feeling . Let me guess I’m going to get a generic heartless reply saying “we are going to improve our procedures”. Save yourselves they are plenty of dentist out there . Not them

Just got back from this dentist. They were highly unprofessional. Tried to sell things I didn't need or want. They said if I didn't do what they asked they wouldn't provide the service I came for which was just an extraction. I felt like they were hassling me and being manipulative in order to make more money and what they suggested was not covered by my insurance. I will never return and will never suggest anyone go see them as they're all about up selling and not concerned about your health or comfort. I felt I was pushed into agreeing to care that I didn't ask for in order to get my tooth extracted under duress as I was in painand the dentist threatened to give me no care at all if I didn't do what he wanted and during the procedure he was every rough and had terrible bedside manner. Lining their pockets is more important then you're health and well being

I lucked out finding this place! The dentists I’ve seen and the service I’ve had is top notch. This place is modern, clean, efficient, and caring. I broke a filling in a wisdom tooth and Dr. Quizon fixed it that afternoon for me without having a temporary crown in place and coming back. I’m grateful for their care. I recommend them to anyone who needs a dental office.

I've been coming here for over 10 years, done my dentistry, oral surgery, and ortho here. They used to be really good, but unfortunately, have gone very much downhill. From regular last minute cancellations, to mixing up what type of work you're getting done, to system errors that prevent them from being able to use your insurance cards or credit/debit cards and waste all your time then tell you they have to cancel because they take up more than 15 minutes trying to deal with their own errors, to giving you different amounts and overcharging you because their system messes up and forgets to use your insurance, to poorly trained and insensitive staff...it's been a wild downward spiral. I once recommended this place to everyone--even to customers, as I sell dental insurance for a living--, but now, sadly, I must warn everyone to stay away if you value your sanity, your time, and your money.

Everyone at this office is so patient, friendly and kind!! Dr. Quizon is amazing! I usually avoid coming back to dental offices for the 6-month check up because most dental offices are poorly managed and you have to wait forever to be seen, but Dr. Quizon and her staff are super efficient and awesome at what they do.

They charged for annual preventive exam in the form of excess services. Took advantage of me trusting only 100% covered serviced would be rendered (as requested) and added more so insurance wouldn't cover, and expense would come out of patient's pocket (me). Staff is friendly though.

I've been going to Henderson Modern Dentistry for a few years and have always received superior service. My last visit was even better. I had cracked a back molar one night. I called at 9am the next day, and was scheduled for an appointment at 10:30 am the same day. I completed paperwork on-line, and was greeted warmly by the office staff when I arrived. My dentist, Dr. Uju greeted me in the lobby and escorted me to the exam room. I fully expected the tooth would be pulled, however Dr. Uju said he could put a crown in the space, rather than pulling the tooth. What a relief! I was given options, chose what I thought was best for my budget, however Dr. Uju gave me an upgrade! I ended up getting a new crown made in the office. The crown was fitted, and I was done in less than two hours. Unbelievable! Thanks for Cameron was was great as my dental assistant. Overall, a result I couldn't have predicted. I got a same-day appointment, I didn't have to have a tooth pulled, and received a new crown in less than two hours. Thanks to all!
