The facility is clean, bright, and spacious making our family feel welcome. Staffs are friendly, courteous, and caring. Dr. Gulati is caring, communicative, and listened. Robin, the hygienist is friendly, patient, competent, and has excellent communication skills. She had answers to all of my questions. My husband and I tried four dentists, and this dentistry was better than expected. Very satisfied!

My experience at highlands was good until my usual hygienist left this office. This last time I went, I had hygienist Robin who seemed like she was ROBBIN’ me of my money, trying to diagnose me with gingivitis and just casual throwing in a laser treatment that would’ve have costed me more money than I needed to. After I said no the first time and after the initial cleaning, she went on to say that the next thing now is for laser treatment and asked me if I want anyone from the front office to go over pricing. I immediately said I’m not interested in doing the laser treatment and she then asked me why I don’t want to, is it because of money, and if I prioritize teeth or gums more which I think is very unprofessional. She went on to diagnose me with gingivitis, but when the dentist came after, he actually told me that everything is fine. Will not be going back

Extremely disappointed – Avoid if you are in pain
I am highly frustrated with my recent experience at Highlands Mother Dentistry. I came in for an appointment with pain due to a cracked filling. Instead of addressing my immediate dental issue, they completely ignored my pain and spent the entire time trying to upsell me expensive, extreme cleaning programs and cosmetic procedures.
Even after telling the dentist that I was in pain, her only response was that she didn’t know what to do and that they could try calling an orthodontist. They offered absolutely zero solutions for my actual problem.
While the staff is polite, it’s clear they don't care about helping patients in distress. When a patient has an inflamed nerve and is in pain, it is unacceptable to treat them like a cash cow or just another number. I left with the exact same pain I arrived with. Highly unprofessional and driven only by sales, not patient care.

Dr Briana is unfriendly and exhibited no desire to learn about me or why I feel like I do about my dental health. After I declined a recommended service, she took off by bib and left the room. No discussion. No effort to learn my reasoning. Her way or the highway. Five years ago I would have sang the offices praises. After today’s visit, I’m ashamed to have ever recommended them.

I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning at 12:30 PM and arrived early at 12:15 PM. After checking in, I wasn’t seen until 1:00 PM just to have my X-rays taken. The X-rays took about 15 minutes, and then I was moved to another room where I waited another 45 minutes before the dentist came in. The dentist spent roughly 5 minutes explaining the condition of my teeth before leaving.

After that, I waited another 15 minutes for a dental hygienist, she just showed me the types treatment packages they offer and informed that I would need to schedule yet another appointment for the actual cleaning I originally came in for. I spent nearly two hours at the office without receiving the cleaning I had scheduled for. The fact that my appointment ultimately resulted in nothing more than an examination and a sales discussion made it very frustrating.

Just got home from my appointment. I live in Las Vegas part time, and my regular dentist is not in the state. One of my caps came out and I was not able to get to my dentist. Found Highlands Modern Dentistry which is close by, and made an appointment online. They contacted me the next day to confirm my needs. I showed up for my appointment and, the whole process was very comfortable, staff was very friendly and easy to work with. My appointment was for 12:00 noon, and I was
done, and in my car by 12:25. Excellent experience. Give them a try!

I’ll start by saying they did an amazing job on my daughter’s teeth—her smile looks beautiful.

However, I would not recommend this office for adults.

I had one appointment, and while the work initially seemed fine, I came back the next day because my bite felt uneven. I was told I needed to schedule another appointment, but it was extremely difficult to coordinate adult and pediatric schedules. I was barely able to make time for the first visit, and I could never get an appointment on the same day as my daughter. Now, a year later, I’m still dealing with an uneven bite and ongoing pain.

On top of that, the billing process was a nightmare. I paid for my services in-office and was never informed that the dentist my daughter saw was out of network. Thankfully, I do have out-of-network benefits, but even with that, they repeatedly called me 2–3 times a week for payments they themselves said should be covered. Then my account was sent to collections.

I ended up paying $460 out of pocket and had to get reimbursed through my insurance. The entire situation took almost a year to resolve and could have been avoided if I had simply been informed about the out-of-network status upfront.

The pediatric side is great, but please double-check your insurance before coming here. Otherwise, you may end up paying a lot of money for things your insurance should be covering.

Overall, it was a very frustrating experience—but again, my daughter’s teeth turned out beautiful.

Prior to coming here I always dreaded going to the dentist, but here the office is always clean, uses updated equipment, staff is always friendly and helpful, and my teeth cleaning was so fast and I didn’t feel any discomfort! I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Bree Griffith! She’s super personable, friendly, and walked me through every step of my exam and cleaning. They also did a 3-D x-ray, which was amazing. It actually identified an old root canal that needs to be retreated. My previous dentist completely missed it at my last check-up, so I was really impressed with how thorough they were.

On top of that, the front desk staff and every employee I interacted with were so friendly and accommodating, which made the whole visit even better. The office itself is modern, spotless, and equipped with awesome technology that makes the experience smooth and stress-free.

I had an amazing first visit and follow-up! Dr. Griffith was incredibly thorough - she addressed all of my concerns and even identified an issue I wasn’t aware of. They were able to schedule me for a follow-up with Dr. Baag within the same week, and he did a fantastic job on my root canal. Everything was painless and surprisingly quick.

The dental assistants and hygienist were also wonderful - super friendly, professional, and made the experience even better with great conversation.

Was surprised and disappointed that the dentist here refused to help me. Not what I expected from a Doctor. It should be noted that the refusal to help me didn’t come until after they had done a complete set of unrelated x-rays to get $564 from my insurance company! As it turns out, he would perform adjustments on a new set of dentures if I bought them from him but not if from someone else. It’s certainly the first time I’ve ever been to a doctor and gotten charged to be refused treatment. Doctors!?!? Crazy! I suppose I’m just glad it’s prosthetic teeth and not a prosthetic leg or something.

If you’re looking for a dentist, this is it! I moved from Hawaii a few months ago. While establishing dental services, I was seeking a very good dentist to address a few issues that was overlooked by dentists in Hawaii and needed to be addressed right away.

Dr Gulati and his team are top notch! Everyone is always so pleasant throughout my entire visit from check in to cleaning, x-rays and dental procedures. Dr. Gulati is very informative and explains everything he will perform and patiently answers all questions me and my husband may have. Also, Leticia at the reception area is so nice to work with whether checking in and or discussing payment/dental insurance options.

Dr. Gulati helped me prioritize the dental issues that needed attention right away including a cracked tooth that now has an implant.

I am very relieved and pleased that I found Dr. Gulati.

My trip to Highlands Modern Dentistry was really easy and convenient. The facility is really nice and clean, x-rays were some of the easiest I’ve ever done, it was easy to get an appointment. check in is all done digitally through your phone, and the chairs even have personal TVs that you can use to occupy yourself while you wait or during your procedure. It was probably the best dental experience I’ve had.

This was a fabulous experience! Not having been to the dentist in such s long time, I was embarrassed bu the condition of my teeth/gums.
From the time I walked in, they made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Then a gentleman named Manny got me started with X-rays, etc. He made me feel unembarrassed and escorted me into the next room. Katie, my dental hygienist, also got me settled and was thorough and did an outstanding job of a deep cleaning. Very professional and approachable.
Doctor Gulati was absolutely skilled, professional, and personable. He explained the entire process of my dental needs and put me at ease about the actual work and costs. I needed a crown on a molar and he explained about their traditional method and a method where, because of their onsite lab, that I could walk out of their office with a permanent and stronger crown snd it would only take several hours! I opted for that option and he and his associate, Eddy (sp.?) went to work and lo, and behold, I had a brand new, beautifully- fitted and color matched permanent crown!
Everyone was professional, kind, and absolutely skilled in their work!
This is my only choice for dental work!

Came here because my regular dentist of 20 years doesn’t take my new HMO insurance. After one visit here I’m being told I need a deep cleaning scaling root planing, some laser thing and God knows what else. I have no bleeding when I brush, no swelling or discolored guns, nothing. So after urging me to “act now” and schedule this. Like some kind of used car salesman, I politely refused and took their $2,000 plus estimate and went back to my regular dentist and paid for a cash visit for a 2nd opinion. He looked in my mouth again and laughed and confirmed I don’t have gum disease. I showed him their estimate and he was so shocked and disgusted by the attempted price gouging (robbery) that he even asked me if he could make a copy to show his dentist friends. I called back Modern Dentistry and told them that I would like to just schedule a regular cleaning that is covered by my insurance. I spoke with Leticia who refused to schedule a basic cleaning and said it’s either the deep cleaning or nothing. This place is a scam. I get it that HMOs don’t pay very much if that’s the case don’t take it. Don’t try to make it up by scamming your patients. You will find only brand new dentists here fresh out of school. Taking whatever business they can get to try to get some experience under their belt (by practicing on your mouth). Im sure they are well trained by these dental chain stores to upsell, upsell, upsell. No thanks. I will be filing a complaint with the state board of dental examiners, another with the department of health and human services, another with my insurance company and why not the better business bureau. If this was your experience here I encourage you to do the same. if you hav not been here do yourself a favor. Stick with a family dentist office, not some dental chain. As for me, I leave it at this….Goodbye Leticia.

Truly unfortunate to leave such a review, but I truly believe I was almost swindled.

Upon coming in, the location looks very nice with decent customer service. Not really what I’m looking for so neither of those are a huge impact.

I for X-rays done and placed into the room quite quickly (and I arrived approximately 15 minutes early) so that was very nice. The hygienist was in and out, overall no complaints on the hygienist. I waited twice for the doctor, once to go over X-rays and another for the scraping. Overall all wait times were about an hour (20 mins initially and 40 mins for the scraping). That wasn’t fun.

When going over my X-rays he advised I had a crack in an older filling and that I need a crown. With my insurance, it would be approximately $530. He attempted to push for it to happen right then and there, luckily I had plans. He then advised it needs to happen soon.

Feeling weird about it, I went to my original dentist (who is pretty far from me now, hence the new location) that I trust and wanted to have them check me out. I provided the X-rays that were taken plus they took a few more of their own. After inspecting and going in my mouth to inspect, they advised that no such action needs to be taken. That it’s not a crack but some other form of marking on the tooth which is causing no damage in any way (I also forgot to mention, I had no pain or other feeling in that area).

Based on how they were trying to make it happen now now now and how they jumped right to the expensive option, that’s a sales tactic even I used when I was in sales.

Make your own assumptions regarding this place, but I felt like I had to share my story.

So glad my new insurance is accepted now! (I wasn't before, and they kindly cancelled my appointment after they made sure.)
The clinic is very conveniently placed as I live super close, but not only that, the clinic is clean and pristine. The staff are great, from Leticia, to Eddie, and to Dr. Gulati. Everyone is very nice and are good at what they do in each of their own scope. Any treatments are laid out and offered with no hidden prices, but they don't push. I don't feel compelled if I'm not sure about a treatment, especially if it's not in the budget. Happy to remain compliant with my dental health now! You won't go wrong with Highlands Modern Dentistry and Ortho 👌🏻

My first two visit was very impressive, my third one was a disaster, I came on my 1:00 pm appointment I waited in the counter for at least 10 min, only one receptionist there that was on the phone, after my X-ray I waited in the room for at least 40 min, I can hear in the other treatment room talking and laughing, nurse check me 2 times and told me my dr is still with the patient and I said I cant wait anymore, Leticia told me there was an emergency patient, at least they could have told me that so I can come back another day rather than listening to their irritating loud conversation and laughter on the other room while I was waiting for my turn. Sorry I have to let you know this to improve your service, I really like your facility and Leticia.

I rarely do these reviews but in this case it is well deserved.

My overall experience at this office has been fantastic. Dr Gulati and his staff have treated me really well and educated me on the well being of my teeth.

Katie did a fantastic job on my cleaning and I was very impressed with her gentle nature and making sure I had a positive experience.

Also, the whole process was just easy. From all the advanced technology they have from x rays to cleanings, my entire experience was easy and painless.

Lastly, I was grateful to the office staff to contacting my insurance company so I could take full advantage of all of my benefits. This is something that is often neglected in most dental offices as they are more inclined to letting their clients pay for services.

If you are like me and have anxiety or nervousness anytime you see your dentist, I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable Dr. Gulati and his staff in made me fee. He has genuinely cares about his patients, is very gentle, and has great chair side manner. The office's technology is amazing. It is like no other dental office I have seen. It is brand new, all digital, has digital 3D X-rays, computer monitors on the chairs with entertainement and they have same day procedures for the dental work I needed.
