Wow, I don’t even know where to start. Most importantly: do not come here. It’s a waste of time and money.
Dr. Michelle Lin is one of the most unprofessional doctors I’ve ever encountered. Every visit felt rushed, and she even put a limit on how many issues I could bring up per appointment. That alone shows how little she cares about her patients.
This office is extremely money-driven. They refuse to do phone appointments and insist you come in for everything — even something as simple as a referral or a medication refill. It’s obvious they do this just to bill insurance for more visits. On top of that, they don’t release lab results on the patient portal, instead requiring you to come in for an appointment just to get information that should already be yours.
This practice is not about patient care; it’s about profit. Just take a look at the other reviews on Google — many reflect the exact same problems I experienced. And when you read their replies to negative reviews, you’ll notice they are the same generic copy-paste responses, clearly written by AI like ChatGPT, instead of taking real accountability.
I used to recommend them, but now I warn everyone to stay far away. Find a doctor who actually values your health, not one who sees you as a paycheck.

This company, its ownership, and its staff should be deeply concerned by the level of patient experience being delivered here.
After over two years as a patient with My family doc, I have officially chosen to establish care elsewhere—and this decision is long overdue.
This was not due to one isolated issue. This was the cumulative result of repeated poor communication, disorganization, dismissive treatment, lack of patient accommodation, and deeply unprofessional experiences that completely destroyed my confidence in this practice.
Communication with this office has consistently been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I have encountered. Calling often meant repeated unanswered calls with no follow-up. Most recently, I called over 20 times regarding a birth control refill while CVS also attempted multiple times to contact the office with no response. Instead of proactively informing me that an appointment and pregnancy test would be required for a refill, I was left scrambling for answers and nearly without medication continuity.
Scheduling was another constant issue. This office previously offered virtual appointments, which made care manageable for working professionals. Once that option was removed, there appeared to be little to no effort to accommodate patients with standard full-time work schedules, making even routine follow-up care unnecessarily difficult.
I also experienced rude and dismissive front desk interactions, including nearly being turned away for an appointment despite arriving within the grace period I had specifically called ahead to confirm.
Even what should have been a routine Nexplanon removal became one of the most physically distressing medical experiences I have had. What should have been a straightforward procedure turned into over an hour of repeated failed attempts, multiple lidocaine injections due to pain, involvement from both the nurse practitioner and Dr. Michelle, four staff members present in the room, and permanent scarring as a result.
As someone with operational leadership experience in the beauty and medical aesthetics industry—including medical spa management, advanced aesthetics licensure, and years of patient-facing care—I do not make statements like this lightly: the level of dysfunction, communication failure, and lack of professionalism I experienced here over the past two years has been genuinely alarming.
Healthcare requires trust, communication, compassion, professionalism, and respect for a patient’s time, comfort, and wellbeing.
That was consistently not my experience here.
I have since established care elsewhere, and the difference in responsiveness, scheduling, and professionalism was immediate—which only reinforced how unacceptable my experience with this practice truly was.

I've been a patient for about four years now. It started off positive, helpful, and was a one stop shop for all my health needs. Not everyone was sunshine and rainbows, but they seemed to really care.
In my opinion these past two years, the vibe has changed significantly and the communication has become non-existent.
My most recent negative experience started April 20th and involved:
Me wanting to make an appointment and check out an injury I had. So I call and call again; all while the voicemail wouldn't even work, and it eventually hangs up on me.
So, I sent an email... Over a week later and it still was never replied to.
Then, on Friday, I tried to contact an office manager who gave me their business card (because of previous issues with not being able to reach the front desk the year prior). Unfortunately, that wonderful human is no longer with the practice and I didn't want to bother them further.
So, I made one final attempt to call. Someone answered after a few rings and asked me to please hold. I replied, "Of course"... And after five minutes of waiting on hold, I hung up.
Today, I gave up. I made an appointment with a different providers office.

I originally started coming here for Kaleigh, an amazing NP who provided attentive care. Since my transition to Dr. Lin, however, the experience has become transactional and rushed. It feels as though the practice now prioritizes high patient volume and cosmetic procedures over quality medical care. During my appointments, there was a noticeable lack of follow-up on my primary health concerns. My sister had a similarly dismissive experience during her pregnancy and did not return. Additionally, getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible. I’ve since found a doctor who actually asks the right questions, and I wouldn’t recommend this office if you value personalized care.

Update: 01/29/2026
I wasn’t able to come to this office for ages because of life, insurance, etc. we all know how it is. I finally got to see Dr Lin after a LONG time. It’s day and night compared to the primary care I had to deal these years when I wasn’t coming here. I feel so blessed to have her on my side again, it’s been a horror show without her (The stories I got) Today’s visit had me feeling like a human again and not another number. My concerns were heard, solutions were made. And I am hopeful that my ear will feel better soon. Thank you all. Lovely staff, always great on the phone, beautiful office. Dr Lin’s bedside manner always top tier! My prescriptions were sent immediately, no going back and forth with pharmacy. SMOOTH I tell ya! SMOOTH!

Dr. Lin is truly amazing. All doctors should be like her, she pays attention to details, is caring and compassionate. Her assistant (Andrew) is still there and always a pleasure to see, The other staff members (whom I did not catch their names are amazing as well) I feel so blessed to have found her, I recommended her to my family and to people reading this.

I just want to start off by saying that from interacting with Dr. Lin and her assistant a couple times, they have surpassed any Primary Care that I have had in the past, they are educated, they care, they follows up, and from experience, that is quite rare for me. I'm just, stunned and very happy to have found this office.
In my first appointment, I had a really bad health problem, and it was pretty bad on the eye, I mean, even my own eyes, but Dr. Lin and her assistant were so compassionate with me, not once did I feel judged by them, not once did I feel like I was a burden. And both of them helped me.
I used to have this saying "I hate doctors" and Dr. Lin (as well as another doctor My Endo) has helped change my perspective. I won't ever say that again. I was so wrong. They care, and we are so lucky that they exist.
I am truly hopeful that Dr. Lin is going to help me get on the right track of getting healthy, and look out for my best interest. I feel blessed to have a Primary Care Doctor with amazing staff. Thank you!

I’ve been a patient here since moving to Henderson almost 5 years ago. The staff is so pleasant and I was so happy to see Andrew’s face again. I’ve had great experiences from Dr. Lin to the NPs and they all were very patient, kind and they listened. Now I’m seeing Randi Morris-FNP and I knew from our 1st meeting she was going to be good. She listened, she heard my concerns, and by my 2nd visit I knew I was in good hands.

I finally had enough. If you are a senior. You don't want to go here. My husband stopped going there for the same reason. I was there in September. They will not renew my blood pressure medicine nor another one. For acid indigestion. Which can be bought over the counter. My insurance pays. I had been coming here for a long time. I had an appointment on black Friday. Which i canceled. I also pay cash for the medical spa. I can take my business elsewhere. I am 71 . I need my blood pressure pills.this is not the first time. I should have stopped going there before this. I don't know if dr lin said this or someone else. But if she didn't. She should be aware. Of how her patients are treated.

UPDATE: I would like to update since they decided to reply to this review. I never did or had any no shows or any late cancellations to this practice. Last that I saw, all or most of the medical providers are no longer practicing in this office. And reviews in other platforms are not on the positive side.
I used to come to My Family Doc since 2020. I first saw Dr Lin and then I was recommended to Dr. Kim. I have always had issues with the service they provided Me, However after this last time, it’s what made me decided to move on and look elsewise.
A month ago, I reached out to them in regards to making an appointment. They had one only weeks ahead . When I provided to them Information in regards to having a biopsy as soon as possible and provided them with a CT scan report, I never heard from them again. Then a few weeks later, I’m getting confirmations for an appointment that I never confirmed in the first place. Try giving them a call, nobody answers.
Way back in 2020, I reach out and ask if they could provide me a COVID test due to me traveling. Someone by the name of Andrew, declined to schedule me for one. He told me to get in done somewhere else . But before I hung up he told me that if I wasn’t able to get one, to give him a call back and they would administer one. I seek it at another providers office.
A few years ago, I got sick and ask to see my primary care so I’ll be able to get a certain type of medication to prevent getting worse. My doctor couldn’t see me because they were away in training for one of their medical spa machines. I went to urgent care and got the medication needed.
On that note, they started to transition to be a medical spa. I’m guessing they are seeing a profit in none insurance services and pushing aside regular seeing patients. All understandable, but at least recommend patients to other primary care.
Not only that, but they provide not accurate information and perform procedures. When I did decided to do one of there’s injectable service, I was informed that they couldn’t inject a particular area due to Nevada state law. A few months after, I found out by a dermatologist and physicians that was a false statement and that I could get that area injected. Not only did they charge me for it, but I had injectables that were not used on me. (I also found out that because of what was left from the bottle (which was a total of 4 injections.).
Do yourself a favor, look and seek another medical providers elsewhere.

I visited this clinic and left feeling completely dismissed and disheartened. Dr. Glen Barnes told me I was taking up too much time and that we could only address a couple of issues because he didn’t feel the others were as important. He even made sarcastic comments about there being too many things wrong with me, treating me as if I was choosing to have these health problems just to be difficult.
There was no compassion or understanding that these are things happening to me and not things I’m choosing. Not once did he ask how these problems affect my daily life even though each one impacts me significantly. It was clear that my concerns weren’t being taken seriously.
I was also unsettled to see that the only license displayed in the office was for hormone therapy not medical practice and that the clinic seemed to focus on selling skincare and cosmetic treatments rather than providing true primary care. It didn’t feel like a genuine doctor’s office.
Patients deserve doctors who listen, show compassion, and treat the whole person. My experience here left me feeling hopeless and questioning where to turn for real medical care.
Leaving that appointment I felt completely defeated. If we can’t take our health concerns to a doctor without being judged or brushed off, who can we turn to??? Patients shouldn’t have to beg to be heard.
This kind of experience is exactly why so many people have started researching their own symptoms and using technology and information tools to better understand their health — not because we want to replace doctors, but because too often we feel like doctors have stopped caring. When a patient walks out of a clinic feeling worse than when they came in, something is deeply broken in the system.
These doctors will wonder why soon we will eliminate the need for them. Maybe then they will come down off their horse and humble themselves. They are paid for a reason and they should have integrity and pride in helping people with health issues not cause more issues for the patient.
I want to make people aware that this place did not feel like a true medical office. There were skincare products for sale, and the only license displayed was for hormone treatments, not a medical license. That’s not what a proper healthcare environment should look like.
People deserve medical professionals who listen, show empathy, and take time to understand their patients’ struggles — not offices that treat people like a burden. I hope sharing my experience helps others feel empowered to demand better care and not settle for less than they deserve.

I got a $1100 bill into collection for blood work because the people in the clinic ordered a blood work from a provider that wasn't covered by my insurance. And it took my over a year to resolve this issue between insurance, provide and the clinic. Lazaro the employee in the clinic hasn't been helpful with his attitude of there is nothing they can do to help, so I should just pay the money. I will not use their services anymore, and I don't recommend anyone to.

This doctor's office is not professional at all. The staff is not friendly. They asked for a co-pay that I wasn't supposed to pay. I paid it, and now that they know I wasn't supposed to pay it, they refuse to return the money. Please don't waste your time on this doctor's office. They will only leave you misdiagnosed, over charged, and frustrated.

Dr. Lin is a well knowledgeable, caring, and just an amazing overall doctor. Dr. Lin listens to your chief complaint and gets to the root cause of your health problems to find what works for you in order to get you back to good health. My family and I have been patients at My Family Doc for years.

I chose them because they have good ratings. But now I am getting so frustrated they barely answer their phones, less than barely answer their emails and never answer their texts. Been trying to follow up for an appt for 3 weeks now and my leg just keeps getting worse and I'm sick of having to go to quick care who does absolutely Nothing either. I have never been to a doctors office who never answers the phone
Edit: not sure how to respond to the owner but I have texted and emailed. Still no response. I think at this point it makes more sense for you guys to contact me..i sent over my xray report and would like to follow up and get my leg issue fixed or advised if I have to deal with it. Today I experienced unfair and unethical practices (DEI). I was the second person in the waiting room. 1st person was there for a shot, the third person was there for blood work and the 4th person had an appointment. I am familiar with processes and understand that some things take priority. However I was there for the same reason number 2 was. Because we are from two different backgrounds. Number 2 was called back to receive services. ( R-discrimination) There is no excuse for this behavior. I politely walked out with grace and will no longer attempt to receive care from somewhere I am not wanted.

Went there for the last two years. Everything was good at first, but not anymore. I had 2 different primary care Dr's in my time there, and was about to get a third....because in the two years I've been going there the ENTIRE DOCTOR STAFF besides the owner has turned over TWICE. Not a typo, all the Dr's that worked there (besides the owner) have left two years in a row. I prefer to keep the same Dr instead of getting a new one every year. Communication is also horrible. No one ever answers the phone. They cited a phone issue, but it had been going on for a while. Responses to emails and messages in their patient portal take days most of the time. Overall, would definitely not recommend.

Horrible horrible horrible service. It’s near i possible to get in touch with anyone over the phone or on their app. We were told we we’d be given a prescription for 2 medications that go together yet once we got to the pharmacy we only received one and when we followed up with the doctors office they said they would call us back once they confirmed the 2nd medicine with the doctor, well it’s been almost 3 days and no callback. What a horrible way to end the new year with a serious health condition.

I really tried to like this place. My NP was nice. However if you are wanting healthcare where You can never make an appointment because nobody picks up the phone, and you are on standby for hours with your scheduled phone appointment for results, this is your place. After going through both, I gave it a shot again. I messaged
them through their app asking for an appointment. I told him what day and time works for me. They messaged me back days later “what days times work for you?” Are you serious??! I literally just told you!
TLDR: they don’t ever answer phones, they don’t call you for your scheduled phone appointment, they also don’t read messages in their app.

I initially had a positive experience with My Family Doc. After three days of trying to schedule an appointment, I finally went in for my first annual check-up. The appointment itself was great—blood work was done in-house, and they promptly called me back within a week to discuss the results. I was diagnosed with a lifelong condition, and I decided to continue my care with this office based on that initial interaction.
However, my experience quickly turned frustrating. At the end of my visit, the doctor advised me to come back in three months for a follow-up. When I handed the notice from the doctor to the front desk to schedule the next appointment, I was told the note wasn’t necessary and to simply come back on the date suggested. When I asked if I needed to come in earlier for blood work, the front desk assured me one week before the visit would suffice, and when I asked for an appointment card, they said it wasn’t necessary.
As my appointment date approached, I called multiple times over three days with no response. Finally, on the fourth day, someone answered, only to tell me I had no appointment scheduled. If there is a specific procedure to follow, the front desk should be clear about it rather than assuming we’re on the same page. This lack of communication was incredibly frustrating.
Out of curiosity, I checked other reviews and noticed a trend: although early reviews gave 5 stars, recent ones highlighted similar issues with front desk scheduling and communication. The responses from the “owner” don’t reflect the kind of accountability or customer care I would expect from a quality medical office.
Overall, I’m very disappointed. If you’re considering this place based on its 4+ star rating, I’d advise caution. My experience shows that those high ratings may no longer be an accurate reflection. For me, this office was not worth the time and frustration.

Absolutely AWFUL front desk(the male receptionist) scheduling and communication at this place. Not the first complaint about him I see either sooo you know there is an issue with him FIX IT. When Dr Kim was there it was so much better. Found out I am pregnant and needed to stop taking my medications and see which ones were safe for baby I called so many times and left messages and did not hear back. Male receptionist finally called me weeks later and I let them know I would be going somewhere else who actually cares about their patients.

Wow so we had an appointment today - we were told to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork before the doctor visit. We arrived 5 minutes late (so only 25 minutes early for paperwork) and we were turned away for our scheduled appointment for being five minutes late FOR paper work ….that is insane! We were five minutes late due to making a wrong turn. This doctor was referred to us by some friends that are also shocked with this treatment of the front desk. I've been seeing this practice for 3 years now and I won't be coming back.
The male receptionist (name starts with a D) is incredibly rude. Told me he didn't have time for me and that if I'm running out of my medication then "that's your problem" and I should "find some place better". I will. They had me under 3 files so my prescription was allowed to lapse repeatedly. They have no automated system to remind you of when you need to schedule an appointment, which is a very standard thing to implement. When I asked why I wasn't getting reminders so I could schedule things before my medication ran out, I was told "that's your problem to figure out" and "you probably refused an appointment" I didn't. Whenever I'd leave I'd always stop by the window and be told I didn't need to schedule at that time. He took some time to complain to me that no one schedules their own appointments.
I was also told an annual is required for an Rx renewal. My last annual was 7 months ago but despite pointing that out "you still need another annual before you can get a renewal" and I couldn't get any explanation for that.
Dominique was very kind, Dr. Kaydee was great (when she still worked there), and in general I've always encountered kind staff who were usually gone by my next visit.
I had already felt incredibly shaky with this doctor because during my pelvic exam 2 years ago I requested a female doctor due to ptsd from sexual trauma. I repeatedly stated this. A female doctor saw me (I remember her name but I don't feel comfortable sharing it here) and once I was on the table undressed from the waist down she asked if I would be okay with a med student doing my exam while she supervised. Since I'd repeatedly stated I needed a female doctor for trauma reasons at this point I assumed that was understood and said it was alright. She brought in a male med student. I know I was visibly terrified. She looked at me and combatively asked, "is this going to be a problem?" And "if you don't want him to do the exam, you can tell him yourself." I was too scared to say anything so I just tried to pretend I was somewhere else and left the place crying. I never should've come back, but I thought a female-owned practice would be best for me given my history. I have been treated as nothing but a burden for my whole time seeing this practice. I'd only recommend going here if you have no ongoing prescriptions and no sensitivities that require anyone read your chart.

I was very happy with my quality of care. Dr. Lin was the first provider to actually listen to me and not just dismiss me because “at this age a woman’s body just changes”. She actually listened to my symptoms and really explained things and started coming up with a plan to go through natural changes without suffering. Everyone I interacted with was amazing. And a mention also to the medical student there because he was very professional and quite honestly fit very well with the rest of the staff at My Family Doc.

I had to remove the last review I left, As it was rude and disrespectful, to the staff in the front office, I was judgemental and chose a poor choice of words directly insulting the men based on their personal life, I am sorry that I may have offended any of you, the office is ran in perfect harmony, considering all the people that depend on the service provided, I can appreciate the softer side of the gentlemen maintaining the office, it is nice to be treated with respect and that's what I received, even after my first review that I removed, thank you guys for helping see that I was wrong for placing judgment on you all. My first visit there, good. But that’s when the false promises also started, and I had no clue they couldn’t provide what they were saying they could.
They told me repeatedly they could provide me a procedure. I scheduled it. Took forever to even make that happen, then they rescheduled 40 min before the original appointment because the provider is not qualified to preform the procedure. That provider said to my face they could do it before it was scheduled. When reschedule, they told me the next day they would have a qualified provider for the procedure. Remind you, they repeatedly said they could provide this procedure no problem, in other visits I had, and over the phone. Then, the 2nd appointment is just 2 hours away, and they call and say they can’t do the procedure at all because no one is qualified for it. SERIOUSLY?! You tell me several times, at several visits and points in time that this is possible with you at your office, and schedule me, then last minute tell me never mind, we don’t have anyone qualified, please find someone else! Extremely unprofessional and waste of time and PTO I had to schedule for something that was never able to be done.

EDIT::: I have been coming here for 5+ years. All of a sudden I can no longer see my actual doctor. After a medical emergency I set a follow up, missed my first appointment because they put it in for the day before. came in last minute this morning, they sent me a whole new doctor whom I couldn’t understand well. When I asked for my actual doctor who i’ve been seeing for years I was told I couldn’t see her anymore as she is now concierge, no one told me I would be getting a new doctor or even asked if it was okay. After I left the office understandably upset(crying not yelling or making a scene), I received an email from her office staff less than an hour laters stating they are discharging me and will no longer participate in my medical care.
This USE to be a great practice, guess capitalism won this round too
probably one of the best offices in the city. i’ve been going here for years and i’ve never felt more comfortable or heard by my doctor. she, the other doctors and staff has gone above and beyond so many times for me. i’m so so glad i found this office. i will literally never not be a patient here

The WORST Experience at a doctors office I have ever had, and that’s saying something because Nevada healthcare sucks. Prescriptions were sent sent to mail order delivery when I have walking pneumonia, and would not arrive for over a week and a half. Called multiple times same day, tried to leave a voicemail, and the mailbox was full; called multiple times over the weekend, and on the following business day, zero response, mailbox is still full and unable to leave a voicemail, no response via text message or email, and no attempts at a resolution on staff’s behalf. If you care about your health, go somewhere else. Doctors are nice enough, staff is fine, but the lack of care, consideration, and basic logic is a detriment. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF AT RISK!!!!!!

I'm giving them 1 star because Dr. Kim was nice. Front desk girls spend way too much time giggling and staring at their phones and talking about personal stuff. I felt like I walked into a forever 21 every time I went. Decided to switch because they have yet to give me any results or explain a second ultrasound I had to have. Results could have gone either way but to make someone wait is concerning. I do get lots of sales on their medspa products in my medical inbox. Just not any useful medical information. My new doctor was able to pull them up and explain everything so all is well. She communicates well and provides the information that is critical. Also doesn’t try to sell me anything. This place (my family doc) feels more like a medspa with teens working in the front. Nice but not medically professional. Not a place for serious medical issues.

I honestly don’t even know we’re to begin, I’m not the type of person to even leave a review but hopefully this opens other patients eyes and helps them be more aware of what goes on with their visits/charts and to always ask for their office visit. I came here base of the reviews and the acceptance of my new health insurance. First problem I had was minor but it had to do with their front desk giving me attitude about arriving late to my appointment, even though I was on the phone with their “answering service” as I arrived and was on hold for about 30 minutes. I let the call be on their as proof that I did call ahead of time to inform them, had done the pre-registration online and had spoke with the person who booked my appointment if they could email me the new patient paperwork since I also work in a health clinic and work nights at a hospital. They checked me in and were able to see me which I am thankful for but moving forward with my appointment, I had came in to speak to them about my recent hospital visit. Which the PA that helped me was taking notes of my concerns and answering my questions appropriately. And of course it helped that I had my medical records from the hospital that way they can see my general concerns and focus. Moving forward I waited about a week and didn’t hear back from them since I know I was being referred out to a cardiologist and endocrinologist I wanted to get that information in order for me to set up the appointments. I had picked the endocrinologist so that appointment was taken care of I just needed the one for the cardiologist, anyways the problem became when I seen my chart and I seen that there was active problems such as “alcohol abuse, lung cancer screening, mammogram “ and incorrect demographics. I contacted them right away and their front desk answer and tried to tell me some false information and then proceeded to putting me on hold and transferred me to the back office manager or ma or whatever three roles she plays there and she informed me that those were things that were spoken about and I corrected her and informed her or what we spoke about and even what I told their medical assistant was my only reason for being there was my ER visit. She said she would speak to the owner and call me back and she never did so today 11/09 I called to get an update got the same run around and was placed on hold just to get transferred to an office manager that was giving me more false information and then when I got upset because I feel like they just wanted me to let this go and let them have false information of my health records . Just wanted the name of the staff that showed me this and when I refused said well then she can’t help me and was gonna hang up. And when I asked to speak to the owner said they weren’t there and I informed her I record the call because this is ridiculous and wanted her to repeat what she just said because wow how unprofessional and degrading is this ?that a health center that is so top rated can falsely chart incorrect information and treat patients like this. Re changed her statement and then hung up.

I loved this place in the beginning and loved the Drs. however the staff is not the easiest to work with. They have had the wrong information regarding my insurance the entire time I have been going and now they threaten that my insurance will drop me if they don't do certain services (which is very unethical if the services are not needed for my condition and considering I am usually there every three months anyway) Upon clarification, and her acknowledgement, to the office manager that she did indeed have the wrong insurance information, and telling her I had confirmed with my insurance these procedures were not required by them, they have sent me a letter indicating they will no longer see me. It was their mistake and now they are blaming me. I would be cautious when any medical office is telling you you must comply with them or the insurance will drop you when that is not true of the majority of insurance companies. True, insurance will cover a lot of "extra" wellness care, but that doesn't mean you necessarily need it. It seems that they are just trying to get more money. I was not even allowed to discuss the situation with my own Dr.

I felt like this place was amazing when I first started coming here staff was okay and I felt like I was being heard but unfortunately that is not the case anymore. They have a three rule policy so if you miss three appointments you get dropped which is whatever I get it, but when I called I was interrupted when all I wanted to do is explain myself AGAIN, why I should be on my second strike not third just so they understand I am not missing my appointments on purpose but I couldn't finish, lady on the phone kept telling me "it's fine, it's fine, it's fine" over me. Would not recommend! The staff is rude and unhelpful. I have had to wait for over an hour for a scheduled appointment. I scheduled an annual exam and was put on the schedule and sent the paperwork for the annual but was apparently not seen for that. There was terrible communication from the office and was told I could not have been seen for an annual because it was too early but this was told to me at time of booking instead I the appointment was logged as a different type of appointment. When I brought this up the management team argued with me and was abrasive. While I understood that the office had booked me incorrectly the communication from the office was terrible. I've been coming to this office for over 3 years. I am updating my review to give a comment as well. Dr. Lin is amazing and her staff is always helpful. If something is urgent they are always on it, and if it is standard I am advised of the timeframe in which to expect what I need. Over the years there's been minor things, phone transition when office moved over a year ago, or sorting out billing for example, and they've always been helpful. I haven't had billing questions in over a year but in the past I was given the number to Liz who took care of any concerns. Charmaine, Kuulei, Stephanie, Leah, Andrew, and all of the staff are very kind and considerate. I recently had a bit of complications with a procedure at another clinic and everyone was working very quickly to get the issue resolved. Within 24 hours I was restitched by another office and was also worked into the calendar to follow up the next week. I have a few health issues and I always feel like I'm being heard by Dr. Lin. I can't imagine ever seeing another physician.

Avoid this clinic as a primary care, because it has a business office that repeatedly demonstrates incompetence, with an arrogant management that fails to solve the problem for the patient, or even communicate.
I kept being referred by this clinic to specialists not covered by my insurance plan. When I raised the issue, I was told that the referral personnel had been replaced due to this issue.
The problem wasn't solved. I continued to be referred to specialists that weren't covered by my plan.
Correspondence with management resulted in no contact with me, at which time I just severed any relationship with this clinic. My Family Doc would have received a one-star rating from me, but the reason it didn't is because Dr. Nguyen-Ward demonstrated she cares for her patients. I certainly can say that the non-medical personnel at this clinic does not.
Update January 9, 2023. Got my medical records, it costs 60 cents per page. It's well worth it going somewhere else. Dr. Nguyen-Ward was fine, but still, after a letter to this clinic addressing the serious issues of their poor referrals to specialists, they choose not to respond. What's alarming is there should have been a note in my file that the staff member today should have seen, but it's obvious they do not care. As a result, I changed my review from two stars to one star.

this office is God sent!! I can’t say enough about the doctors and nurses at this office! I’ve lived in Las Vegas my whole life and I’ve never loved coming to an office as much as I love coming here! They are so helpful and caring. They actually listen to your concerns and needs! Also a plus it’s a med spa as well! If I had kids I’d bring them here since they work which children as well! I love this office so much! Would definitely recommend for the whole family

I’ve been coming here for almost two years and they always take good care of me! I adore Kaydee and she always gives the best advice. I also saw Dr. Lin about a back pain I was having and walked out of my appointment with her feeling like a million bucks! Not exactly sure what she did, but it worked and that’s all I care about. I started seeing Dr. Ward about 3 maybe 4 months ago. Since I’ve lived in Vegas, about 8 years now, I have basically avoided doctors, I am from Chicago, and have had the worse healthcare experiences in Vegas. Since I started seeing Dr. Ward, my faith in doctors has been restored. She really covers all the bases and I feel very comfortable with the healthcare she provides. First off my girlfriend had a stroke and she referred to me there we went and they wanted to accuse me of hitting her the night before she fell in bathtub they didn't want to listen to her health problems or yet alone mine. We have arthritis and I have cancer she can barely walk I needed oxygen they gave me a inhaler and never gave me my blood thinners they never called In our prescriptions and they had the rudest front office people we ever delt with if I could give them no stars. I would we are going to report them to the medical board and have a investigation get started our attorney will be in touch with them,and to top it off a doctor does not own business a student does.there the worst doctors office In Vegas.we will see you in court if we don't die by then.

Don’t even bother. I explained my situation to the staff or coordinator prior to making an appointment as a new patient and when I arrived, they told me I had to make a separate appointment and be charged an additional fee for any paperwork to be filled by then. Complete waste of time considering I had to take time off work for this. If you can, find another physician/doctor. Level of care and service is everything
Just to follow up on the response below - I understand the need to establish a rapport with your patients in order to address their needs, review medical history, etc. However, if this was communicated in the beginning along with the associated fee involved, this dilemma and/or misunderstanding could've been avoided. Don’t be fooled by how nice this place may look. Every office should be rated based on the service. With that being said I was only seen here a handful of times due to them dismissing me for a misunderstanding that THEIR front desk referral management made. I got no call or no suggestions as to where to go next for my medical needs. They sent a letter in the mail and that was it. Disrespectful on every level. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere that will value you as a person AND your medical needs not just a paycheck from your insurance.

I was under the care of Dr. Catherine Nguyen-Ward since last year August 2021. Dr. Ward is an attentive provider don't get me wrong. However, the issues with this clinic all started with the poor billing and miscommunications.
1) My first visit with Dr. Ward in August 2021, was to complete my annual physical exam. At that time, my blood was drawn and Dr. Ward completed a comprehensive physical exam on me. I was later charged $35 copay as an office visit. I gave up fighting off the $35 charge, as Dr. Ward said, I am here to establish patient care with her. But here comes the problem, the clinic sent my blood work to an OUT-OF-NETWORK company. And My Family Doc also billed the lab work as "pathological diagnosis" instead of "routine check up". The bill came out as $540, and my insurance company is not able to cover this bill because the billing code of blood work was billed incorrectly. As of today 2/1/2022, I am still owing Advanced Biomedical Inc $540.
2) My second visit with Dr. Ward was for papsmear. And I would think papsmear should be routine check up. And again, I was charged with $35 office visit. Because Dr. Ward's medical student went through my blood work result that was done in August with me, and that student basically read off the numbers on the lab report to me just to tell me, "results are good, you are healthy." And that right there, it's $35. And AGAIN, My family Doc billed my papsmear lab work as "pathological diagnosis" instead of "routine check up", LabCorps later billed me $42 for it. After my multiple phone calls of follow up, My Family Doc finally adjusted the billing code and the $42 was taken off.
3) Their office phone number is basically useless. It always takes MULTIPLE TRIES to reach them. I handed them the first bill statement from Advanced BIomedical Inc in September, and it was never addressed nor fixed by the staff. They had my statement and never bother to help me out, even though they were at fault for not billing it correctly.
Dealing with billing issues with this clinic has been an absolute nightmare. I am a healthy adult with no particular health issues, yet every time I walk out of this clinic, I will get billed instantly for charges I should not be responsible for. My Family Doc, please educate your billing staff properly to avoid more patients of yours going through similar situations that I am having right now.

I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable primary care physician. Dr. Lin, Dr. Kim, and Dr. Ward are all wonderful physicians who clearly care about their patients. Their office is clean and the staff are all really nice. Beyond primary care, they also offer some cosmetic treatments like Botox. I like that they don't try to push any cosmetic treatments on patients and I would much rather get something like Botox done in an actually physician's office instead of a MedSpa with no doctor on site. What's also great about this office is you can actually get an appointment in a timely manner, not have to wait 3 months like some other offices.

100% of the time I call, nobody answers. But whenever I am in the office, it seems that the people behind the desk are answering phones. I don’t know why. I’m sure the healthcare provided by the doctor is up to par, but handling things like updating insurance, making appointments, or just getting a quick question answered is beyond the capability of this office.

I had an appt to see Dr. Esther Kim a couple months ago. Office was clean, front desk and staff were attentive and Dr. Kim was helpful to what I needed. The staff and doctors work well together and the environment was welcoming. I was able to get my blood drawn in the office without having to go to quest lab. And I was promptly given my blood lab results by phone call within a couple of days. Highly recommend this as your next PCP/fam doc if you’re looking for one!

My first visit was in somewhat of a moment of crisis. I was seeking help with the management of a wound and had encountered resistance to my desire for conservative management (rather than surgery) from another provider. The plan of care was patient-centered, with my opinions and desires at the forefront. The providers collaborated on my what to do, Dr. Ward treated my finger, and I had complete mobility of my finger the same day. It was a seamless visit from check-in to departure. I unequivocally recommend these providers.

This clinic is attentive and patient with my needs. They are professional, punctual, and friendly. I definitely feel a unique level of trust and care. Furthermore, I can tell the providers strive to work on the cutting edge of medicine. Their decision making is top notch. Highly recommended.
Tip: I understand they have had some phone issues they are working to fix. I just call on a different day or time and I eventually get through. Once I get through, my issues are quickly resolved.
Also I had Plexr treatments for mole removal and wow I'm so impressed. It's like I'm in the future. The big raised moles are now extremely subtle flat dark patches and it looks like the small ones were just never there.

It is with a very heavy heart I have to give this review, but it is crucial that this situation does NOT happen to another person. First I want to say that Doctor Lin is an amazing Doctor. Her Staff on the other hand is nice, but very incompetent!! Here's what happened. I am a CASH Pay client. I have NO Insurance. They knew that. I had a blood work up done, and they sent it to CPL Labs. I got a bill for $1856.00!!! I contacted the office and they were just surprised. When I went to see the Doctor she told me to bring the bill in if I couldn't straighten it out with the Lab. The lab only offered me to cut it in half, rather than charge me per test, as it should have been. I brought the Bill into the office and the next thing you know I'm in COLLECTIONS!!! No one helped, they did nothing to contact the lab to rectify this situation. Andrew said he never received the bill. I'm Devastated!! This Destroyed my credit and this was Their huge Mistake by not letting the lab know in the first place that I am a Cash Pay!!!!
Be careful. Also this is all following the pandemic lockdown and I could barely afford the Dr. visit norless this insane bill.

Since moving to their new location they no longer answer the phone. You have to leave a message and then wait 24-48 hours for them to return your call. I have left 4 message the past 3 weeks and no one has called me back. The staff and doctors are really nice but unfortunately the new message system is horrible.
