The visit to I Care Optometry, located on Jones in Spring Valley, Las Vegas, NV., began at the front desk with paperwork. The 2 employees in front were very helpful with the paperwork, smiling, professional and kind. Then, when the doctor's assistant, Betty, took me into the exam room, she took her time answering questions about each procedure with patience and a smile . When the doctor, Karen Hsueh,O.D. came into the room, she greeted me warmly, and proceeded to allow me to share my concerns and then continued the exam. Dr. Hsueh answered my concerns and solved all my concerns, thoroughly and professionally. I really felt that finally a doctor listened and did not make me feel...well...stupid. I rated this facility 5 stars, but they really deserved a 10. I regret that I didn't take note of the office worker's names. My appointment was good. The staff was great. The doctor detected an infection in my eyes and suggested me an eye treatment. Also I like the contact lens trials given to me. They are very comfortable, for the first time out of all contact lens in the past these contacts didn’t give me discomfort as soon as I put them in my eyes so that made me satisfied.

Dr. Hsueh is an excellent optometrist! She is very thorough and detail oriented. The young person at my Ophthalmologist, Shepherd Eye Clinic, who did my eye testing was not thorough and took a short cut and said I had 20/20 vision with my glasses even though I told her twice that my right eye had deteriorated over 2 years and I was seeing double in the horizontal axis. So when I called I Care Optometry they fit me right in and Dr. Karen Hsueh did a thorough examination. The right eye had deteriorated twice as much and also slightly in my left eye. She gave me a new eye prescription and I can now see perfectly. I don't need to squint anymore when watching TV or driving. She also treated me for my dry eyes.
I am a retired Neurologist so I was really glad to return to Dr. Hsueh after 9 years. She is the optometrist for my wife and teenage daughter. I highly recommend her to anyone.

I've had an amazing experience so far! Simply incredible. I'm currently being treated for dry eye. At my first appointment, Dr. Hsueh did the most thorough examination of my eyes that I've ever had, including meibography. She came up with a detailed plan for treating my condition, and it all seems based on the most current research (I read medical journals more than I should, and I know that her plan is in line with the particulars of my case). I noticed she has an entire section of her practice labeled "Dry Eye Treatment." Also, the staff at the office is very sweet and responsive. I look forward to seeing the results when my treatments conclude.

I have been having eye problems for over a week that has been worsening, I found this location on Google and was able to get a same day appointment and thank god I did , such a friendly staff and my doctor Karen, I truly felt like she cared for me and my condition which makes me feel so much better overall, it has a great family vibe, the name “ I Care” is perfect because that’s how I truly felt, like they cared .. thank you so much !
