I am grateful for Island Smiles and Dr. Chistekoff! I had a hip replacement surgery 12 days ago and was having issues with my mouth, tooth and ear. I was vacationing in LV from Hawaii and I cracked my tooth. A friend who lives in LV is a patient at Island Smiles so he recommended me to go there. I called and was able to get an appointment that morning. Everyone there was so nice, they made me feel comfortable. The office was clean. Dr. Chisteckoff was really nice, he explained very well what he was recommending. I ended up with a crown and I was very pleased with the service they provided. If I ever need a dentist in LV again, I will definitely go to Island Smiles!

Just go see them already! Trustworthy, gentle, caring, friendly, fairly priced, available, and responsive. Recently, a family member fell and damaged some teeth. Dr. C and Island Smiles saw us immediately, took X-rays, and suggested a treatment path. Here's the best part, though: instead of rushing into advanced and expensive procedures, Dr. C said that we have some time. He carefully monitored the healing process over three weeks, allowing the teeth to heal naturally, which they did! Only some simple cosmetic treatments were required, and they were almost entirely covered by insurance. We're quite happy!

I'm a skeptic. It takes a while to earn my trust. Dr. Chisteckoff and his staff at Island Smiles earned my (our) trust.

I used to love this place. Recently I came in with pain and a swollen face. I have an abscess. It is so painful that my ibuprofen 800 no longer helped the excruciating pain I was in. They gave me an antibiotic but no pain meds. Not even for a day while the antibiotics kicks in. I’ll be looking for a new dentist.

We’ve been going to this office for almost 5yrs and we are happy to have been referred here. The staff is very nice, friendly and persistent and thorough and informative. As for your appointment time I’ve never had to wait not but 5-10mins they are like clock work, patient going out patient going in. They set a time frame and follow it to the T!! The office is very welcoming and clean and always have open chairs to sit and wait. The doctor him self is very nice, informative and thorough. Not matter the work being done he is gentle. The last thing I really am pleased with is their dedication to service patients I give them 100% for that. we’ve had 2 emergencies outside of business hours (weekend) and they have an emergency number!! That is so AWESOME!! They are quick to reply and assist via text or phone call. Now and days with the cost of everything being high this “emergency service” saves us from going to an urgent care or ER. They sustain the emergency and they have you come in the next business day to get checked up. Now that is customer service at its BEST!! I'm from the islands. But our family is done with this place chipping away at insurance money at the cost of our teeth and health. Talk about smiling while ripping you off. They may seem nice, but service here is minimal. I would try ten placed before trusting island smiles. Take it from a father of 5, after years believing their smiling demeanor I realize they provide sub par services and run a cash cow business. All of my failed filings were done by this dentistry, which required follow up, and mistake after mistake becomes frustrating. After 11 months and more than 3 dozen times of coming back and forth for my dentures, they had not come up with an even good working good fit dentures. Gave them so much chances and I was very patient and cool! But I finally quit my hopes when the dentures I tried broke right in my mouth! They returned my money but they had charged my insurance already. Anyways, after less than 3 months with another dentist, I finally have a great working dentures! Boy I suffered and lost so much comfort, time and money from this dentist!

Friendly yes, like a used car salesman friendly, Charged me thousands for implants & broke the implant off in my jaw bone! For the rest of my life, I will have his failed attempt at doing his mini implants on me. All He could say to me, was, it was my fault for having such a hard dam* jaw bone. GET IT ! HE FAILED, and its my bone that is the problem. He left me with a semi worthless upper partial plate and a completely useless bottom plate, made to hold his implants. Since he couldn't place the dental implants because of my too dam* hard bone. (MY BIG MISTAKE WAS AGREEING TO PAY HIM IN FULL UP FRONT.) HE ONLY partially refunded me for the other implants that he had not broken off in my jaw. I demanded a full refund, Since I have dentures that are worthless without the implants. "HE SAID SUE ME". The pain and damage was considerable to my jaw bone. It took me another year to heal and too save up enough money to get new implants from another dentist. 5 plus yrs later my new mini implants are still working great, no thanks to my nightmare dentist. Dr. Guy Chisteckoff and his gift of broken and embedded metal in my jaw bone that will be there for life.
