Dr. Holland has been my dentist since I moved to Las Vegas about 17 years ago. He was the first dentist I tried and have been going to him ever since. Dr. Holland's expertise and knowledge assured me that he was the dentist that I would trust to care for my teeth. My 6 month cleanings have always been a positive experience as he has an excellent hygienist, Carolyn, who is very skilled and knowledgeable and makes sure you are comfortable.
I would recommend Dr. Holland to anyone who wants excellence in dental care in Las Vegas. He communicates well with you no matter what the problem is. He's the best dentist I have ever had in my lifetime.

I have filed a complaint with the State Dental Examiners against this dentist. He left me alone with his assistant, who is not even licensed, and her teenage grandson.
Dr. Holland left the office and went to an ugly Christmas sweater party.
Subsequently, Debbie C. tried to glue poorly shaped and ill-fitting crowns into my mouth directly in the front. I told her I wasn't letting that happen. She became enraged, and would not let me leave. Her and her grandson kept me there in the office against my will. She criticized me as a teacher which paints her as a very unstable and unprofessional assistant.
I called the police as soon as she finally let me leave when I got into my car in the parking lot.
In the meantime hours later, Dr. Holland showed up with his girlfriend. He was intoxicated and he was the one driving into the parking lot. He convinced me to let Debbie work on me again. I agreed, but I shouldn't have. I was weak and without water for almost 8 hours. That was hard on a 70 year old woman.
To make a very long story short, my heart was beating so fast, and I had been crying for hours the evening of the incident. It was a horrible experience. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I video taped all of it as proof for the law and/or the State Board.
To make matters worse, I developed a horrible infection as a result of Debbie C. not cleaning my crowns properly after she dropped them on the floor which chipped them.
After that, she kept trying to glue them into my mouth against my will. Then later in the evening, my crowns were touched once again by Dr. Holland and his girlfriend after they fell on the floor of my vehicle. No one had gloves on.
Once again inside the facility, I asked if I could gargle with listerine, but Dr. Holland told me "NO". I was worried about all the hands that had been on my crowns, and all the times it was placed inside my mouth without being cleaned properly or repeatedly.
Moreover, my new crowns from Dr. Holland are presently both loose as has been determined by my new dentist. Plus, one of my new crowns is quite painful.
If I were you, l'd find another dentist and run for the hills.
Update: I see that Dr. Holland has denied my claims. I will keep the public informed as the result of the dental board investigation as soon as it completed. I swear that everything I said was accurate and truthful. I have 4 hours of video as proof. The police said this was a matter for the board as there are specific laws that they can’t interfere with that only the board can address because of certain NRS statues that govern dentists. I’ll post the outcome when complete.
*****Update: J. Holland took an oath as a doctor to tell the truth. In his response to the board he stated that he had only left me at his office with an unlicensed dental assistant, Debbie, and her grandson for 45 minutes. The perjurer doctor lied. He left at 3PM for an ugly sweater party and never returned until I called him multiple times from 7-8PM while I sat in his parking lot. When he returned, he smelled of alcohol. I swear to God, that I'm telling you the truth.
His dental practice couldn't be cited because the board believed his "missing in action for 45 minutes", and I had 3 hours of video to prove otherwise in which I was held against my will. Moreover, the board can only cite licensed dental assistants, and Debbie is indeed unlicensed. The lawyer that represents the dental board told me that HAD Debbie been licensed, Holland's practice would have been held responsible. In the letter that I received from the board's lawyer, she called their practice "troublesome" and they would keep my complaint "open" should there be other complaints about Holland and Debbie.
To add to this troublesome medical matter, I'm worried in that my 2 front crowns that Holland put in my mouth are loose. Moreover, I doubt if I ever even had a cavity in them. He put crowns on so many of my teeth that he said I had a cavity in all of them. I would get a second decision if I were you before having him proceed with any new crowns.

Learn how to read your own x-rays before doing anything with this guy. He will want to do unnecessary treatment if you believe his diagnosis. Told me I had a very tiny cavity between my teeth. After doing research I couldn't see anything in the x-rays that look like the shadow triangles they are supposed to look like. I asked him to show them to me before going through with the procedure. But he got very upset that I questioned him. And he couldn't show me on the x-rays where they are. So I walked out. Also had 2 other dentists before him that never mentioned anything like that. And I doubt if I show these x-rays to another dentist they could either. Even said it was a tiny cavity. And if it's tiny from what I've researched these can go away on their own. So another reason to not drill away your teeth. I also told him I had x-rays from the dentist before that also wanted me to do an unncessary procedure. That he agreed was unncessary. But didn't care to see those. He wanted only his own. These procedures weaken your teeth if they are unnecessary so be careful. If it's between your teeth they drill alot of your tooth away. And I regret I was dumb enough to let him do the first one.

Also i just receieved an unexpected bill in the mail. For an additional $18.50. I thought I was paid in full on the last appointment. What is the $18.50 from? I have a been a patient of Dr.Holland’s since 2017 and have had only positive experiences with the office. I have a terrible fear of dentists and they do nothing but ensure I’m comfortable during all my appointments. I recently thought I a had ‘dental emergency’ and they were able to accommodate me very next morning. It wasn’t the dental assistant that I saw but Dr. Holland himself. There are other offices where you may have to see the physician extender but it was very comforting to know that Dr. Holland was able to evaluate me himself. His office deserves a 10/10 (and then some) along with more than 5 stars.

My previous dentist made me feel terrible, shaking her head as she looked in my mouth and telling me how my teeth were falling apart. In a freak accident one night I broke my front tooth off, Dr. Holland fit me in the very next day to have it repaired. He and his staff are wonderful. He made what was a traumatic experience for me in breaking a tooth as pleasant as humanly possible for the repair—he gives great Novocain shots that don’t hurt, explained exactly what procedures would be done, answered questions, and overall has great bedside manner. I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Dr. Holland!

As a person of , somewhat advanced age, I have experienced a variety of doctors in the field of dentistry, and, I must say that Doctor Johnathon Holland combines a variety of skills in dealing with patients with whom going to the dentist is not high on the list of activities which they enjoy.
In my first visit to Doctor Holland's office, I was pleasantly surprised to find an office staffed by highly qualified assistants, who were all very people-oriented, as well as highly efficient at their craft.
I would recommend Dr. Holland to my best friends, and my family members as well.

Dr. Holland and his staff have cared for me & my family for 14 yrs. We've been through the basics, we've been through emergency bmx concussion knock your teeth scenarios & we've been through real life discussions outside the office that bring our appreciation full circle. Outstanding! I had such a bad experience with the last 2 dentist since I move to Las Vegas 17 years ago. A friend of mine told me to try Dr. Holland, as a matter of fact she worked for him, and told me to give him a try. Turns out she’s my Angel, everything she said about his practice was true. I appreciated the receptionist who was extremely helpful and kind, and the hygienist was fantastic. When Dr. Holland came in after the cleaning he explained every thing he found in detail! So all I can say at this time is that the whole experience was very pleasant, and I would like to thank everyone especially Debbie, thanks my friend, for steering me into the right direction! Best dentist and staff ever! We discovered these awesome folks while snowbirding in Las Vegas. Jo broke her partial (flipper) and after talking with many dentist offices basically getting the COVID runaround, we fortunately were able to find Dr. Holland and staff. We must also recognize the execeptional expertise of the staff, to include the Dental Hygienists and front office personnel who were so key in flawlessly handing insurance issues. What a great blessing! As seniors and having retired from the Marines, as well as other adventures, we have had many dentists over the years so when we say Dr,. Holland is the best dentist we have ever had, we are quite serious and don't offer that recommendation lightly. We had several appointments during our stay and through that experience, we consider them all true friends as well as having had the best dental experience we have ever had. We can't wait to get back here this next winter for our checkups.

I've been going to this Dr. Holland's office for over 10 years. They always provide thorough cleanings and procedures. There is no nonsense, just honest and fair dental exams. They would never do work on you that you don't need and always tell you your options. That's why I've been going back to Dr. Holland for over a decade. The hygienists always do a great job at cleaning, taking measurements and x-rays.
