From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, welcoming, and professional. I especially want to recognize Lucy, our PACU nurse, for the exceptional care she provided during my child’s recovery. She was compassionate, patient, and gentle, making a stressful experience much easier for both of us. She kept my child comfortable, kept me informed, and showed genuine care every step of the way. It’s clear that she truly loves what she does and cares deeply for her patients. ☺️

Staff is very nice, but the experience was terrible, first they rescheduled my daughter for one week later, and the date of the appointment they call to get there 30 minutes later, I did we got there and they told me like one more hour(appointment was at 9:00) they told me they were running a little “behind”… (mind you my daughter was fasting) I kept asking how much longer, she got her surgery at almost 1 pm.

This dental surgery center has been a life saver for my son who is non verbal autistic and at times can become combative however Nurse Yuli was very patient and empathetic with my son. She showed us that she really cared and had so much compassion and understanding of what my son so needed. She knew exactly what medication to give him to be able to relax him before going to the operation room and to our surprise it worked wonderfully! Thank you to all the staff and the dentist and once again Thank you Nurse Yuli you’re an amazing person!!!!

My son had dental surgery this morning for cavities and crowns. While the procedure went smoothly with our dentist, I was disappointed with parts of the experience beforehand.

After checking in, we waited nearly an hour to be called back and then another 15 minutes for a bed in the back. Nurse Yuli offered medication to help calm my 4-year-old before the procedure which I agreed since my son was a little uneasy and has had a bad dental experience before, but when he hesitated to take it, she told him he would need a shot if he didn’t. I didn’t understand why she would say this as at no point during our visit was he going to be given a shot at all. This frightened him, and I felt a different approach would have been more appropriate for a young child considering this was a pediatric center who work with kids all day, everyday.

I also felt the repeated requests to leave a review for nurse Yuli were poorly timed, as they occurred while my husband and I were trying to clean up and comfort our son after he spit out the medication.

I wasn’t going to share any of this with anyone but I ended up sharing my concerns with the discharge nurse in hopes that the feedback would be passed along. Thankfully, the procedure itself went well and the doctor and surgical team provided excellent care.

We want to thank the staff of the Las Vegas Children's Surgery Center for their commitment to their patients. We had an exceptional experience during their care. My son is level 3 autistic , its very difficult to get him to take his medication before surgery. The nurse was very patient and empathetic with my son. She tried many times helping us to get our son to take the medication. Finally after several times she managed to get our son to take the medication. She was very dedicated and attentive the entire time. I am very grateful for her attitude and professionalism. The rest of the staff was also very courteous, helpful and friendly. Dr. Marivic de Leon was very kind and gave us a detailed explanation of all the procedures that my son received. She took her time and answered all of our questions with great professionalism. Its very difficult for us to find a medical place that we can trust with our son and Las Vegas Children's Surgery Center is definitely one of very few. Every time we bring our son in for his dental procedures, we always leave with a wonderful experience. I highly recommend, Las Vegas Children's Surgery Center to other parents who have children on the spectrum. We cant say that everyone's experience will be the same as ours but we are more than grateful to Las Vegas Children's Surgery Center because they are one of very few if not the only place in this city who are willing to help the autism community.

I am changing my review. The good review truly belongs to the anesthesiologist who was able to get my boyfriends IV after numerous failed attempts by the nurses. The bigger problem now is he has a piece of his tooth trying to make its way out through the side of his gum towards his tongue. It’s painful and causes pain when swallowing. And when can they get him in? The 17th of June! Told him to call his dentist. It’s not his dentist’s fault the surgeon didn’t make sure the gum was completely clear of the tooth before stitching it closed which they gave no indication verbally or on the discharge paperwork that he even had stitches. Now he waits. In pain while this piece of tooth makes its way out of his gum. Nice post surgery care. Unacceptable work done by the one that calls himself a surgeon. Now I know why there are so many bad reviews.

I had my top teeth removed and brought dentures with me as instructed by my dentist. The surgeon was supposed to fit them during. I woke up and no teeth in my mouth. The recovery nurse asked me how to do it and I said I don't know, but they are supposed to be in. Then put them in for me, which I somewhat appreciated, but it was the surgeon's job and he failed. He also didn't listen when I advocated for myself about pain. Tylenol does nothing for pain. Ibuprofen does very little for it. When a patient with chronic pain conditions states that; a doctor should listen to the patient. I was concerned about too much pain, clearly the surgeon isn't interested in taking care of patients, only in how many he can cut a day. You are just a number to this one.
It is complete negligence that I was sent home without a proper fitting of my dentures causing me to choke when swallowing spit and expected to take large pills that do nothing for pain, but will cause ulcers in from my chronic GERD! I would give zero stars, but the nurses were nice. I will have to go to my dentist tomorrow to hopefully stop choking and be able to breathe. Zero stars to the surgeon, I wouldn't trust him to care for any of my family, even the ones I truly dislike and especially not my children. Will write another review once my dentist has a look. Unfortunately the damage is done. Do not go here if you want care or competence, patients are numbers not humans.

HORRIBLE! My nonverbal Autistic son’s 3rd or 4th dental surgery/ full sedation, and during this last surgery (2/23/26) The anesthesia professional told me after the surgery that they had to restrain him in order to put the face mask on his face, to put him to sleep and then start the IV. I believe excessive force was used during this time since my son has an extremely red broken blood vessel in his eyeball on top of light, circular bruising around his eye, congruent In shape of a black eye. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE (at least sedated 6 times his entire 15 years of life). The administrator, Lisa G. Was extremely unprofessional— began to make excuses while admitting she had not started an investigation yet, and defended the staff right away. She showed no empathy, she raised her voice at me, interrupted me and told me I was not listening to her BS statements that she made to me at least six times. Lord Jesus Christ have mercy because hell is hot….

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR CHILDS DENTAL SURGERY NEEDS. My sons & I have been going here for years. They always took care of my son’s surgery dental needs. The last visit we had was back in October of 2025. I took my youngest in for extractions and fillings. Also on top of that he is autistic.
We arrived there around 7am got my son checked in & everything and prepared him for surgery. Surgery went great and everything.
After the surgery was over and spoke with Dr. Galia (who is amazing BTW). Nurse Cindy was rushing things with me because my son was crying. As she was going over after care & what was on the papers. She gave me the papers, handed me my son’s socks so I can put them on him and hurried to go grab the wheel chair. Nurse Cindy was being in a rush for absolutely no reason.
Later that night around 10ish pm I realized that the nurse NEVER hand me my son’s teeth. So I called the next day. No one answered so I left a voicemail. Friday came, called and I left another voicemail. No response. Monday I called again and told them the Nurse Cindy never gave me my son’s teeth. Then I got transferred to Lisa. Lisa in the administrator for that location. I spoke with Lisa and Lisa spoke with Nurse Cindy about me never receiving my son’s teeth.
Later that Monday Lisa called me and told me that Nurse Cindy handed me my son’s teeth. I had to explain to Lisa what had exactly happened and I needed to speak with someone higher than her because Nurse Cindy is now lying. Instead of taking accountability, she is now lying, and saying that she handed me my son’s teeth when she never did. All she handed me was the aftercare papers. She didn’t hand me no gauze nothing, not even my son’s teeth. Instead of taking accountability for a mistake that she made she has to sit there and lie because she is afraid of losing her job nor getting in trouble. Nurse Cindy is now not to be trusted. I also had to explain to Lisa that I am Navajo (Native American). Teeth are important, especially when it comes to our children. I also told her I needed my son‘s teeth for ceremonial purposes. I don’t need them for some stupid “tooth fairy”.

I got in contact with higher up, his name is Brady McLaws and is the Vice President of BlueCloud Pediatric Surgery Center. I have been emailing him since October. He will take weeks to respond to an email which, I don’t think is fair. Anyways, after going back-and-forth for a few months. He asked me to give him a proposal since he wants to make things “right” and he doesn’t want to disrespect our tradition. So I ask him if he can help me with stuff for ceremonial purposes, like buying flour for the medicine man or help with travel to go to the reservation in Arizona. I asked him for help for useful things not just straight up ask him for money. I asked him for help with things related to my son’s missing teeth.
Anyways, weeks went by after I gave him my proposal. Only thing he did to make things right was send me an email and provided an apology and basically said that they are going to take sides with nurse Cindy because nurse Cindy is insisting that she handed me my son’s teeth. I never had my son’s teeth in my possession.
I don’t want to go through the state and get Dr. Galia involved because of Nurse Cindy’s mistake and her lack of accountability. Nurse Cindy, Lisa, the administrator & vice president Brady law of BlueCloud are very unprofessional very inconsiderate & they simply do not care. If a nurse is willing to lie & the higher ups are going to back up liars. EVEN WHEN YOU’RE TELLING THEM TO LOOK AT THE CAMERAS. This place is not to be trusted.

I am very disappointed with the customer service at this children’s surgery center. We waited in the office for almost three hours with no updates, and after all that time they told us to go back home and come back tomorrow. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional, especially when dealing with children who need care. I hope they seriously improve their scheduling and communication.

We took our son here in order to have some dental work done under sedation. The care staff were good but the reason I can't give this place any higher than 2 stars (and honestly I'm really teetering between that and 1 star) is the SMELL. The whole place REEKED of mildew. And all the receptionist did was spray some febreeze and prop open the door a little bit. I'm sorry but when you bring your kid somewhere for surgery what you want the place to smell like is disinfectant. Or nothing. Those are the only two acceptable smells for a surgery center. When we got home both my so. And I smelled so badly of mildew that my husband could smell us from 10 feet away. And I'm really allergic to mildew so I spent the whole 4 hours we were there breaking out in hives because I wasn't allowed to leave the premises. It was disgusting. Oh and the reception staff were super snotty about scheduling. My son is 5. It seems unlikely that enough kids were scheduled that were younger than him to push things back 3 hours from when they opened. And even though our appointment was at 10 and we arrived 30 minutes early as requested they didn't take my son back until 11:45. It was incredibly frustrating and tough on my son (who is on the spectrum). If you have to bring your kid here I guess be ready to wait for a long time and pop some allergy pills if you're also allergic to mildew because the staff there did not seem to be at all concerned about the smell. It even smelled like that in the surgery suites. Super super gross

The consultation / pre surgery appointment I felt went great the doctor asked me as far as managing the pain with it I want to do and he told me that he could have eat something for paying for my teeth being that I was having 22 teeth removed . Even the day before surgery is that day before multiple messages telling you what to do to get ready. My surgery was scheduled for 12:00 got to see the call saying that it would not be at 11:00 to be there at 10:30 but there at 10:30 he needs us to say I didn't get surgery to 12:11. After the surgery the nurse put me taking me out to the back . She seemed a little impatient so a very nice male nurse who took me to surgery he waited for us to get into the Uber. I went to go pick my medications up from the pharmacy but I found Tylenol ibuprofen and an antibiotic and mouth off I tried to reach them multiple times through the day through the night there 24 hour number received no here it is 8:00 in the morning and I'm in pain the following day and no one has still reached back out to me. But they send you these alerts a text to send them a text message so they could be easily contacted nobody has yet to reply. And to add insult to injury I was contacted only to be lied to and said that the doctor was unavailable he visits that surgery center two times a month and that he was unavailable he works on the base the rest of the time when I needed to get another procedure done and I know for a fact that he told me to call one of his other offices not the base to schedule the work so he is available I guess maybe not to receive calls from patients from that office or they're not contacting it but either way I would avoid at all costs.

I recently brought my two-year-old daughter here for her first surgery, and overall, the experience was smooth — most of the staff were kind, attentive, and professional. The surgical team was wonderful, and I felt like my daughter was well cared for during a very nerve-wracking experience.

Unfortunately, the discharge process left me feeling incredibly disappointed and hurt. The discharge nurse rushed us out of the room within five minutes, repeatedly asking if our ride was here while I was still on hold trying to confirm it. She told me she would grab our belongings, but the interaction felt cold and dismissive during what was already a high-stress moment.

The most upsetting part was when she handed me my items and made a comment asking if my two-year-old daughter had “anger issues.” I was stunned. My child had just come out of surgery, under anesthesia, and was understandably disoriented and upset. I responded gently, explaining that she’s two and still learning to self-regulate — but inside I felt deeply judged. Comments like that about a toddler are unnecessary and unkind, especially from a medical professional.

In the end, I left feeling flustered and emotionally overwhelmed — and in the rush, my daughter’s favorite stuffed animal was left behind. That may seem small, but after everything, it was just the final straw.

I truly wish this part of the experience had matched the compassion shown by the rest of the team. Discharge is just as important as intake, and a little more patience and empathy would have gone a long way.

Terrible experience, my 3 year old daughter was treated at that place for tongue tie surgery, she went for consultations twice and surgery was decided, as well as a filling in a tooth, on the day of the surgery they detected that there were more cavities and I authorized it as well as her tongue and when I picked up my daughter after her general anesthesia, at home I noticed that they did not perform the surgery, I complained to them and they only apologized, super disorganized and very bad work the next day they wanted me to go again to finish what they had not done and apply anesthesia to my daughter again, which I refused, I will never go to that place again and after all these ugly comments that I have seen here, I recommend that nobody goes to this place

What a horrible experience. I went in for the consultation 10 days prior to his dental work. I had to make a last minute appointment with his pediatrician to clear him for anesthesia (which I did) made sure they had everything and we were good to go. About 10 minutes later they called me asking if I can come in an hour earlier I said yes sure that’s less time my kid has to be hungry. I get there and they have me waiting for an hour I go to the desk and ask how long it would be she tells me another hour. Me being patient I asked if I could take my kids to the park and if they could call me in an hour when ready. An hour later no call. We got tired went back to the office anyways . Soon as I walked in she went to the back I’m assuming to ask how much longer they would be. She came back and informed me that the patient he was working on needed more work than they thought and it would be another hour. By this point I’m highly irritated 1. Yall called me to come in early 2. I called out of work for this. 3. I drove 35 mins with 3 hungry children (all of us fasting in solidarity) 4. It was a red flag that yall were going to put an IV in his ankle 5. He had an abscess on his gums why did no one prescribe him antibiotics before his surgery? 6. Why not do X-rays during the consultation so you can prepare better and get a sense to how long each appointment will take. For sure yall gotta work on time management. I don’t know this trip was very frustrating. I would have stayed maybe but I had to get back across town to pick up my other kid from school . 3/10 don’t recommend

We brought our daughter here for dental work (crowns, partial root canal) she had to be put to sleep for the procedure. It was fast and informative the entire time. We felt comfortable being there for as long as we were there for (4 hours) the staff was incredibly friendly and helped us through the process. The procedure itself was 1 hour maybe 1 1/2 hours and our daughter looks great and most importantly noticed her teeth and loves the way they look she looks her self again. We wanted to thank you guys for your services and amazing work we will absolutely be coming back if further work is needed. Thank you again 😊

My toddler unfortunately had to undergo dental surgery, and I chose this surgery center to have the safest place possible for the procedure to take place as he has a complicated medical history. And I'm so glad I did! I was so nervous and worried, but after meeting the wonderful nurses and anesthesiologist, my nerves were calmed. They made me feel like he was so safe, and would be fine, and he was. (My dentist was wonderful also). This is truly a place where your children are in good hands that want the best for them too, and they are very trained and professional. We experienced no wait time as we arrived on schedule early in the morning, with no foods or liquids for 8 hours. And honestly, if there is a wait time it's because they won't rush a child's surgery, and that should make you feel good because they won't rush your child's either. I'm so happy and grateful for the decision to come here. Thank you for taking care of my son. 🙏🩷

This center asks you to arrive at 11 a.m. for an appointment at 12 p.m. we arrived at 10:55 completed the digital tablet documents by 11:05. Now we are sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, I asked how long we will be sitting here they said there are more x rays that have to be done to ensure more or less dental work is needed and we just have to wait with no estimate of time for x rays then the procedure. None of this was expected or explained to us. In the mean time four other patients are sitting in the waiting room and have not been called the entire time we have been here. Medical and Dental in America is broken, overpriced overcharged and a complete disrespect of time for patients. Meanwhile if we as patients have an issue we have to pay for late or missed appointments.. so completely wrong how we are treated.*update* still hear with my five year old child that was told no water or food after 11 pm yesterday so now 12:25 pm and we have not even been spoken to regarding anything I'm regard to when we will be called

5 stars! Dr. Prada fixed my son's teeth and did a wonderful job!! The nurses and anesthesiologist were very nice! I was very nervous about getting my toddler's teeth done, but they reassured me he'd be ok. Dr. Prada went over what she would be doing and was very pleasant. The aftercare was gone over very thoroughly and answered all my questions. The whole staff was GREAT.
