Above and Beyond — Truly Amazing People

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dental office. We were visiting Las Vegas from out of state when my daughter suddenly developed terrible tooth pain. Not knowing where to turn, we happened to see this dental office while driving by and decided to stop and ask for help.

They were extremely busy and had no appointments available, but the moment they saw how much pain my daughter was in, they moved mountains to get her seen. They could have easily told us they were booked and sent us somewhere else — but they didn’t. They showed us compassion, kindness, and genuine concern when we needed it most.

From the gentleman at the front desk (I am so sorry I didn’t catch your name!), to Cindy, Vicki, and Dr. Dennis, every single person we encountered was absolutely amazing. They treated my daughter with such care and treated us like we mattered, even though we were complete strangers from out of town who had simply walked through their door.

This was so much more than great customer service. This was amazing human service. There is a difference, and this team is the perfect example of it.

When your child is hurting and you’re far from home, having people go out of their way to help means more than I can put into words. I will never forget the kindness they showed my daughter and me that day.

If you are lucky enough to live near this dental office, this is where you want to go. You won’t just be getting dental care — you’ll be cared for by genuinely wonderful people.

I hate the dentist… I don’t go as often as I should and I Had a tooth issue walked out of another dental office for being unprofessional money grabbers. Went to LVMD they helped me immediately to get comfort tooth pain is no joke. It took a month and they communicated the entire way up to getting my tooth removed. I was super nervous but they were so comforting I think I might go back to regular visits. Plus my son had his braces here a year ago. Differently recommended!!!

Always a great experience extremely clean and prioritize your time with a upbeat friendly environment Dr. Dennis walks you through all procedures when you will fill pressure gives great direction on what is to be expected,willing to change temperture in room because I always run a little hotter than most people and give options of what needs to be done immediately and what can wait until a later appointment (if your on a budget) and I appreciate dental hygienist (ashley) she was very patient and understanding of my concerns of sensitive gums also addressed oral Healthcare and proper method of flossing. I was even able to break payment down into affordable payments.

I had Lauren Jackson as my provider and she was very rude and misunderstanding that other people also have jobs and don't have the time or money to waste on being scammed. I had X-Rays performed at a previously made appointment and had to leave early as I noticed they were taking more X-Rays that were not needed and planning to scam me out of more money. I rescheduled hoping they would understand that people aren't trying to go bankrupt by simply visiting the dentist. The office manager was also very rude and unintelligent as I asked for a total of my bill and she didn't understand what I was asking for and said "Well what do you mean!?" in a very condescending tone. Either she doesn't understand what the word "total" means or was just having a bad day. Either way it was unnecessary and unacceptable.
Would not recommend coming here unless you're cool with being fed lies about the health of your teeth and being on the hook for over $1000 for a simple cleaning + medical grade mouthwash that my provider Lauren Jackson purposely decided to leave out the fact that said mouthwash actually stains your teeth and is unhealthy for prolonged use. Her recommendations for at home healthcare included spending about 4 hours every day brushing with an electric toothbrush, water flossing, regular flossing, picking, using medical grade mouthwash, and inflicting trauma on your gums and teeth every single day.
People in healthcare need to do better, these ones especially.

Excellent visit with Brittany the Hygienist. My family member needed a full mouth scaling after years without a cleaning. Brittany kept her comfortable and relaxed for her appointment. She then saw Dr. Ellsworth to extract a severely infected tooth that had eaten away at her bone, he worked quickly in cleaning out the infection and replacing the bone. Thank you Dr.! Hector the assistant was friendly and helpful. He gave her all the information she needed to care for her surgery site afterwards. Overall, it was productive visit, and she is happily healing! Very grateful for everyone that helped her today. Thank you!

I had such an amazing experience at Las Vegas Modern Dentist! I’ve always had really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, but this entire team completely changed that for me.

From the moment I walked in, Carlos made me feel comfortable right away while taking my X-rays, he had me laughing and helped ease my nerves instantly. Then I met Dr. Tsang, who was incredibly kind and thorough. She explained everything so clearly and made sure I understood what was going on, all while being very mindful and understanding of my anxiety.

Cindy was also amazing, she took the time to walk me through my treatment plan and helped me figure out how to make everything affordable, which means so much to me as a single mom. And Brittney, who did my cleaning, was so patient, gentle, and supportive the entire time. She really made me feel at ease.

Honestly, every single person I interacted with was kind, patient, and understanding. If you have dental anxiety like I do, this is absolutely the place to go. I’m so grateful for the care I received here!

Called on a saturday needing a same day appointment for bad tooth pain and they were so attentive and helpful over the phone helping me figure out all the details and get me seen as soon as possible. Dr.Shen, Cindy and Monica all made my visit enjoyable, effiecient, and were quite kind to me and before i knew it i had an upcoming appointment for surgery and perscription for my pain.

So glad I found Dr Dennis! She is very knowledgeable and explains each step of the process, which made me feel very comfortable. Her assistant Potter is awesome as well! He’s always upbeat and friendly! The front office staff is super nice as well. All in all good vibes at this office. They take a lot of insurance plans as well, which is how I ended up finding them after my previous office no longer took my insurance.

Ive been coming here for about 2 years now. I moved from a small town and I was worried about going to a dentist that would scam me. I found Modern Dentistry and I can tell you my fears were gone after coming here. They are comprehensive and explain all the steps of your care at an understandable level. They’re very accommodating and understand that not all patients have plenty of cash to drop on their teeth. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They’ve squeezed me in a tooth emergency. Definitely would recommend coming here!
