Minute Clinic Rocks! No waiting time, practitioner was professional and caring. Had vaccines in stock. Asked me questions in order to supply the care I needed and answered all of my questions with clear, concise responses.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at MinuteClinic and feel that this situation could have been handled much more professionally and efficiently.

On August 4th, I went to MinuteClinic as a walk-in for a possible ear infection. I was told there were three people ahead of me, along with scheduled appointments, and that I could wait but would likely have a long wait. The nurse suggested that I make an appointment instead, so I followed her recommendation and scheduled an appointment for the following day.

When I returned for my appointment, the kiosk was unable to find my name and asked for a confirmation number. Unfortunately, I could not locate the email containing the confirmation number. Instead of taking a moment to look up my name or otherwise verify whether I had an appointment, the nurse told me I could not be seen without the confirmation number.

I then asked if I could be seen as a walk-in. I was told there were no openings because of the scheduled appointments. I left extremely frustrated and disappointed and ended up purchasing an over-the-counter medication because I was unable to receive the care I had specifically made an appointment for.

I later attempted to make an appointment at another CVS location, only to discover that I already had an appointment at the original location. I returned to the clinic and showed the nurse that I did, in fact, have an appointment. She then said there was an issue with the kiosk and that she would “squeeze me in.”

What was particularly frustrating was discovering that she was actually “squeezing me in” to the appointment I had already scheduled.

This entire situation could have been avoided if the nurse had simply taken a few minutes to look up my name and verify my appointment when I first arrived. Instead, I was turned away from an appointment I had properly scheduled, forced to leave the clinic, spend additional time trying to find another appointment, and purchase medication unnecessarily.

While I appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved and I was able to receive care, the way this was handled was unacceptable. A patient should not have to prove their appointment by producing a confirmation number when the clinic has the ability to verify appointments in its system. More importantly, staff should make a reasonable effort to help resolve a simple issue rather than immediately telling a patient they cannot be seen.

I hope MinuteClinic will review what happened and use this as an opportunity to improve staff training and procedures for verifying appointments. A few minutes of effort and basic customer service would have prevented a great deal of unnecessary frustration, wasted time, and inconvenience.

This has been one of the worst experiences at a clinic. We waited over an hour and half from our appt time just to find out that they didn’t accept my pre check in and any of my online information. There was no one there to discuss this with but a dr who was obviously behind I assume. There was no apology or concern when I called a representative to find out where to go from here. They said you can reschedule. Since we drove all this way we checked in as a walk in and waited longer. It looks like several people had the same issues and with such a large company as this - it’s awful to not take note and fix the consistent problem. Please do not go here - it’s not worth your time or money. I wish I saw the previous reviews prior to booking.

Informal definition of minute is short time. After waiting over 1.5 hours for a scheduled appointment and the nurse came out of the closet and shrugged her shoulders, we left. Don't know exactly how much longer we would have had to wait. If you are running behind/had an emergency, at least have the decency to let people know versus shrugging your shoulders and hiding.
CVS - I would encourage you to change the name to Maybe/Maybe Not Clinic as that seems more accurate.

After being very ill for several days, I went to my doctor, who misdiagnosed my condition. So I went to CVS, where I received proper help, and now I'm on the mend.

On 11-15-2025, I made an appointment with CVS pharmacy located at 21 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada for the Flu and Covid 19 vaccinations for me and my wife. Everything was set and in my mind I assumed that CVS pharmacy and Minute-Clinic were the same (My mistake, it is not).

So, 50 minutes before our vaccination appointment, I received an email notice from CVS pharmacy, stating that only one vaccination was available, did not state which one, then right after that email, I received another email stating that both appointments were cancelled.

So, less than an hour before our appointments, they cancelled that was it. I called the CVS pharmacy, I was transferred to the CVS phone center and they knew nothing about it, we were just told to re-schedule our appointments.

We decided to go down to that CVS pharmacy and find out what really happened. We ended up veering towards the Minute-Clinic, which was the exact same place we got our both vaccinations last year, with no problems.

As we were about to check in at the Kiosk, Nurse Practitioner Reisha Thomas overheard us and inquired what was going on. She stated that CVS pharmacy and Minute-Clinic were in-fact to separate entities,

So, Nurse Practitioner Reisha Thomas offered to do a walk-in appointment for the vaccinations for both of us.
How awesome was that! She gave us our vaccinations and we were on our way.

Our Nurse Practitioner Reisha Thomas was awesome; she was helpful, knowledgeable, down to earth and very gentle. The two shot she gave me were almost painless. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Go to Minute-Clinic, they care more about you

Do not use. Went there 6 months ago for cough to try a z pac to help less than 5 minutes in and out Unfortunately didn't help. Asked to pay then but was told insurance would cover so let us bill them. Now just got billed insurance prices $276 because like all insurance bluecross blueshield wasn't in network. Asked for corrected rate they refused. Go to emergency room where insurance policy has to pay or don't tell minute clinic about insurance. Great idea but a scam if they won't let you pay when you leave. Overall was pleased with them until recently. Just sad greedy times even for companies that started out caring.

The nurse practitioner was thorough in his examination. He was informed on pre-existing conditions; he understood my medications. His explanation of my illness and its required treatment were also thorough. He took his time and regarded me as the priority for that portion of his day. He had a good sense of humor too.

I can’t remember the name of The practitioner but she was a beautiful blonde lady with blue eyes and she is so kind and so polite , so patient in answering all my questions and she has a very high level of active listening. My ear was clogged with ear wax and she helped me remove all that wax.at the end of the process I felt relief and I could hear again properly.I hope the company takes good care of her properly that’s a unicorn employee not to lose at costs.Thank You Doctor for helping me.

By appointment only not walk in or "minute clinic", usually a couple days in advance, also they told me that they can't do a quick strep test because they close at 530 and it was 500....just go to a real urgent care or doctors office and save the time.

I had the worst experience, I was told I need a machine because I have severe sleep apnea and they are holding a prescription I need to get my machine because they are demanding I come there. The last person I spoke to said I wouldn't have to come back and I got 4 different answers from 4 different people. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

Went to this location almost a year ago. The lady at the check in, wearing Minute Clinic shirt, told me the visit cost $35, and I proceeded to be seen. I told the NP that I don’t have insurance, so please don’t do anything that cost extra. Today I received a bill of $184. I feel scammed, go at your own risk.

I don't usually write bad reviews cause every business has bad days but this is the second time something like this has happened to me. Both times I made an appointment online, confirmed my appointment and came in on time to said appointment. Both times they told me I wasn't in their system and that sometimes the system will cancel and remove an appointment. I wish I would've known that before coming all the way here. No notice of cancel or anything. Then they had the audacity to tell me to try to make another appointment. I do it all over again and then again it gets canceled again. No sympathy from the "doctors" I've been sick for 4 days and worked 3 12 hour shift for that whole time, My birthday is on Tuesday and still no sympathy to try and get me in due to an error on their system not on my end. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I for one will never be trying to come here again.

We were in Nevada on a house boat vacation when my 13 year old came down with an ear infection. The day we flew out we made an appointment for the minute clinic. Kayaking Dinehart, NP was who examined my son. She was very kind putting him at ease and giving him appropriate attention and medicine to help him have a comfortable flight. He is feeling great now. My hope is her superiors see my response. She was caring and thorough. Keep her around. She is a great NP and human being! Thank you Kayoko!

Simone Vargo made us wait over 3.5 hours for a TB shot reading. For those of you who don't know, the reading process goes like this... they look at my arm for not even a half second and sign and date a paper saying I am not having a reaction to the shot. THE END. Thanks for taking an extra hour on your already 1 hour break.... on Valentine's Day. Inconsiderate.

This is place is bad. They txted me saying that I’m going to be seen in the next 30 mins or I will lose my spot after waiting 2 hours. Went home and came back hoping that they would be back from their lunch by 2:30 the time says 1:30-2:30 and on their door says will be back by 3. So if you weren’t going to be back by 2:30 then why did I get txted that I’m going to be seen in 30 mins. I’ve literally had to drive to this location 4 different times to try and get a simple TB SHOT CHECKED. And when I came back at having to wait another 40 mins and their screen wait time is over two hours. This place is such a joke. I don’t even write reviews for places but this one is bad don’t come here.

This clinic is just awful. I am a nurse and was in need of a basic pre-employment health screening. I contacted the minute clinic number and spoke with a representative to ensure the employment health screening form I had was a service their clinic provided. The representative relayed to me that they could easily approve this form and would gladly take care of this request. I arrived to the henderson clinic and signed in with a wait time of 80+ minutes. I then left the facility and came back in approx 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. I then waited another 30+ minutes. Upon finally meeting with the healthcare worker regarding my health screening for employment, I was told "I can not sign off on this form because it is too vague, sorry there is nothing I can do". So after waiting all this time and speaking to a representative for clearance all I received is "I'm sorry, good luck". CVS should be more diligent in screening clinicians for competency and knowledge of basic health screenings. Time is valuable but apparently for CVS the only thing valuable is the potential for money.

Came in around 7pm. Wouldn’t see my 8 year old for a possible UTI. All she has to do in pee in a cup and they said that under age 13 was beyond their “scope of practice” for that type of issue. Thanks for being most unhelpful in an area full of families.
