This Review is not a target of the dentists who did wonderful work for me over the years, but rather an office staff member, Angela. Three [3] times Angela mishandled the billing to the HMO that went on over a year, the latter not willing to pay. When Angela failed to do what she is paid for as an employee, she threatened us with a collection agent for that fail. At that point, I gave up and paid out of my pocket, but my husband saw the $1,472. problem and solved it. I was refunded the amount only after going after Angela to have her send it to me that was sitting in their accounts payable, but not followed up on returning it to me, which I believe was intentional.
After that event, it became untenable to further do business with this office. Specifically, when inquiring a few months ago why there was no follow up for my cleaning [always done over the years], I was by told Angela that since I lived so far away, “maybe you should find a closer dentist to where I live,” which I did and am very pleased with. Apparently, she has control over the patient list and removed me from further appointments. Just another example of people not being responsible for their actions; a very unkind and perhaps unhappy employee.

I really don’t enjoy writing negative reviews but stay away from here! Went in for dental cleaning and X-ray and sent me out with four holes in my teeth. I only need to get a cleaning and one tooth bothering me. Then walk out with five issues. The cleaning they did messed up my teeth. I had to return like four to five times from them to correct their mess ups. Then charge me for everything except the tooth I needed done. Just because I have good dental insurance and benefits doesn’t mean I wanted to use it all will you. And right before I had to move out of Las Vegas. I am still not satisfied with the work they did, I had to get second screening and new dentist. There are a lot of other dental practices in the area; go see them!

I've been going to Moores dentistry for 3 years...this year when I needed my other crown to be done...they went to bill insurance but when I came back to get the crown put in. She says you have to pay first before I can get the crown put on, so I gave them 500 towards the payment..I hot the crown in but this time only temporary glue. It fell out after 3 weeks...I went back they dont call you back so I had to call the next day..
Then when I went in I said I want permanent glue this time..then the girl I had last time said to the new girl come here, i said she going to tell you to put temporary glue, I said what is this baby stuff...they were trying to get over me to charge fees again. For work they should of done correctly the first time.i liked them at 1st. But as of today I don't trust them. Because they are not going to rob me...ill have to find somewhere else to go...I have bad taste in my mouth with them...moore dentistry are not honest..

DO NOT TRUST THEM! If I could rate 0 stars I would for the first time ever in my life. They charged me $100 to cement my permanent retainer back down. A week later the cement disintegrated. That's just the tip of the iceberg!

I brought my daughter in to get crowns which should have been covered by my insurance. I specifically told the dental assistant to her face to use the standard crowns when she was scheduling the appointment. The day of the appointment, my daughter calls me and the dental assistant tells me that she's going to "take care" of my daughter and made it sound like she was going to hook it up, but she screwed us. She used the premium crowns which were not covered by insurance. My bill jumped up to $500.

I tried to talk to the dental assistant and she had suddenly moved to TX without a word to us. I think that this hurt the most. She was always kind and friendly to my family and we would talk about her family and life whenever we came in. My wife, my daughter, and I feel so betrayed.

As soon as they could they sent our $500 bill to collections. We now owe $700 which includes a $200 collections fee. I suspect they are close to closing up shop and they no longer care about their patients.

My family and I went here for years growing up and they were always very nice so it hurts me to write this review, but if I can save people some stress, I'd like to. The cleanings I got from Kelly were always AMAZING. She was sweet, fun and cleaned my teeth so good. No complaints there. The front desk girls have always been my jam, no complaints there. My complaint is with the dental work itself..I trusted this place (I've been to both offices with Dr Dave and Mike) for a long time but after a while I started to have questions. My sisters had root canals done there that had to be re-done a couple times...and they drilled through the nice new crown. This happened to both of my sisters root canals! I had 2 crowns from this place that cracked, which are under warranty for 2 years and fixed for free, but still??? The last straw for me was the last time I went there...Dave told me I needed a root canal on a tooth that i felt absolutely no problems on. I thought it was fishy...So I went to get a second opinion and I didn't mention the tooth at all. At the end of my visit, I brought up the tooth he told me I needed a root canal on and my new dentist said there is nothing wrong with the tooth...at all! Not even a small cavity! So that was IT for me AND my family. We have all found new dentists we love and trust. Wish I could have stayed here for life but just couldn't take it anymore.

They take your blood pressure before teeth cleaning and its always 10 points higher than normal when I am at the dentist! Been going to them for about 3 years now. I found everyone friendly and helpful. They call to remind me of my appointments, which I really appreciate.

Have been going to this dentist for 15 years. They are very professional and the office is very clean, quiet and pleasant. Best of all, I've almost never had to wait past my appointment time, maybe twice in 15 years. Friendly staff, busy but kind dentists. They've always done very good work. I don't think we've had billing issues other than one time they scheduled my cleaning one day too early for insurance to pay and I had to. They didn't do it again, though. I recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, established, competent general dentist you can rely on.

The staff is very friendly and professional. They did good work on the crown I needed and I've had no issues since, but they will mislead you about the cost of your procedure and omit that certain things they do will cost extra. They did it to me twice.

Good first - they doing their actual job pretty nice, i did check-up, cleaning and two crowns with them. BUT - sometimes they don't call to remind you about an appointment, their front desk stuff is rude as soon as you have little problem. They tricked me to do a procedure, saying that my insurance will cover that and i will have to pay only copay and then billed freaking amount of money. They lied to my face saying that they gave me all the information and i still agreed to do this procedure. So no, i wouldn't recommend them to my friends.

OKAY I've always hated the dentist but scary to say I ACTUALLY FELL IN LOVE with my dental visit at MOORE FAMILY DENTISTRY in Summerlin on Lake Mead!!!! I broke a tooth and after looking online for hours at dentists reviews I finally gave in and called a friend who referred me to them!!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME experience and it dang wasn't because I have perfect teeth cause oh Lord my teeth need a dentist but they truly were AWESOME and not just the doctor Dr. David Moore or the dental assistant Adrian, the ENTIRE staff was AWESOME!!!! Went today, thought they were so awesome that I had to write them a review the same night!!! IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN AWESOME GOOD HEARTED DENTAL OFFICE, BUSINESS, STAFF AND DOCTOR "MOORE FAMILY DENTISTRY" is definitely IT!!!!! GOD BLESS whoevers reading this and I wish you healthy teeth!!! :)
