This was my first time visiting LensCrafters. I’ve been wearing glasses for the past 22 years, and I don’t think I’ve ever had an eye exam feel quite this quick. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and took great care of me, so I have nothing negative to say about the employees themselves.

That being said, the overall experience felt very “big corporate chain” to me. Everything seemed a little rushed and impersonal, and I left feeling disappointed with the experience as a whole. I also felt that the selection of frames was surprisingly limited and had a hard time finding anything I really liked.

While I really appreciated how kind and helpful the staff were, I personally prefer a more thorough and personalized experience when it comes to my eye care and choosing glasses.

Dr. Jones was great. She has a good bedside manner, speaks to her patients so kindly. She is easy to talk to and truly cares. She is great with children. My daughter absolutely loved her.
After our exam I met Howard who assisted myself and my daughter with picking out the perfect pair of glasses. He has so much patience, very helpful and gave excellent customer service. I recommend this Lenscrafters location.

I am extremely pleased with the service and attention I received.
Dr. Jones’ bubbly and infectious personality immediately put me at ease during my exam. She took time in patiently explaining the exam procedures and findings with me, answering every question and addressing every concern without making me feel rushed or unimportant.

I always go to Lense Crafters. I just moved to the Las Vegas and they helped me with my insurance. They got me all squared away with that. The staff was very helpful. Great selection of frames 👌🏾

My experience at Nevada Eyecare was unfortunately uncomfortable where the staff, mainly the receptionists, had no decorum.

The male receptionists with the bull-nose piercing and omega tattoo, needs to find another career as being in the customer service is not his strong suit. Horrible attitude, and had no idea what he was doing. When asked for prices, he gave generic information as if he did not want to be working that day. The other receptionist had some professionalism as she was easily able to read off the prices without issue and can just do the basic duties of a receptionist, which the male receptionists lacks. Not only was he bad-mouthing customers in front of other customers or employees who work there, but he was loudly reading a customers’ review and complaints to the other receptionist regarding the same issues I am listing out in this review. His attitude is not fit for the job he is currently working, as he is condescending towards others. The issue was not only with me but with other customers that day as well.

The other receptionist had an attitude during my visit as she was dealing with issues with other customers. Despite her horrible attitude she can do the job. She seemed to have a stressful time during the visit but did not need to take it out publicly in front of customers. Not only did she ‘help’ our customers over the phone, but she would complain to the optometrist and sigh during the call.

This place will try and rip you off. Went there today and was quoted almost $1000 for glasses with insurance it’d have been a. $486 charge to me. The frames I picked out were about $170 of which my insurance covers $130. So you’re telling me for the lenses it’s a $446 charge? I could literally buy a pair of reading glasses from Walmart for like $20 and just use them when I need them for computers at work. After comparing the progressive frames which they were recommending at Walmart without insurance would be 1/3 of what they were trying to charge me. Avoid at all costs this place.

Always a good experience, eye exam was good. I will say that the reception desk needs to be more aware of talking about customers on telephone calls. They do not have patience or able to deal well with upset customers on the phone. One should not talk about the bad experiences or bad phone calls in front of customers in the waiting area.
As for the customer service during eye exam, the technician should inform patient what each machine is doing and especial let them know that one will blow a quick puff of air in the eyes during exam, this was a bit startling. Maybe have a more pleasant demeanor when greeting a patient. It seemed like the technician didn’t want to be there, until I started to ask questions and start a conversation, then seemed more pleasant to talk to. Communication is very important no matter how anytime a day you have to repeat it with each customer.
Glasses and ordering process Howard was good and explaining things but best not to keep interrupting customers and/ or correcting them. Instead of telling a customer they are like their wife, and doesn’t read the fine print. Simply explain how the discounts work. No need to make some one feel stupid or point out they are not reading the fine print of all the details of the discount mailer.

I went to the clinic, the initial care was excellent, unfortunately I don't know the name of the person who checked my eyes, he was very careful and patient, and I thank him here. But then I met with the doctor and he had not given me a full prescription and when I went to the eye center they asked for a full prescription, I expected the doctor to do whatever was right for me. And I called the office to ask if I could go to get a prescription and I was on the line for a long time and no one answered, I had to go to the office, the doctor was in another location today and my work was not done. I was not happy with the performance of the clinic.

Very unprofessional and a waste of time! There were 3 people at the front desk just sitting around. They called me the day prior to my visit to “verify my insurance” but when I arrived for my appointment they tell me they do not accept it and they “just now saw it.” Why wait until I come into office to tell me that? especially if the staff was not busy just twiddling their thumbs on their phones upon arrival. It seems like there is a high turnover with Dr. & front desk staff because the last time I went to the doctors section at Lenscrafters, I had a similar bad experience.
