⭐ 1-Star Review – Pearle Vision
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Pearle Vision, and I would not recommend their services based on how they handled their own mistake.
I made an appointment to get a new prescription for glasses. After receiving the prescription from Pearle Vision, I purchased a new pair of glasses from another retailer, spending approximately $300. When my glasses arrived, I discovered that one of the lenses had the wrong prescription.
I contacted Pearle Vision to explain the issue and asked if they could help fix the glasses since the mistake came directly from their prescription. The optometrist admitted that she had forgotten to include a 1 in the axis measurement, resulting in an incorrect prescription.
Although they corrected the prescription, they refused to take responsibility for the mistake or help fix the glasses I had already purchased. I was left with a $300 pair of glasses that I couldn't properly use because of their error.
To make matters worse, I ordered new lenses with the corrected prescription and called Pearle Vision to ask if they could simply pop the new lenses into my existing frames as a courtesy. I was told over the phone that they could do this. So I took the new lenses to the store, only to be told that they would not install them.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service. They admitted their mistake, corrected the prescription, and still left me to deal with the financial consequences of their error. I was given conflicting information over the phone and in person, and after all of this, I am still stuck paying for a mistake I did not make.
Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything about its customer service. In this case, Pearle Vision failed to take responsibility, failed to provide a reasonable solution, and wasted my time and money.
I would strongly caution anyone considering getting a prescription here to double-check everything before spending money on new glasses.

Had an appt for contact lenses. Everything went smoothly until the training part. The fit was comfortable and then the dr said a tech would be in to make sure I pass training real quick on how to insert and remove the contacts on my own. Once I pass training, they would give me a pair of contacts until the rest of my order arrived. When the tech came back, she said I’d have to reschedule to come back for training another day because they’re short staffed. I was a bit irritated that I waited that long after both the eye exam and the contact lens fitting to be told to come back again. They weren’t able to get me in until the following week.

My PCP had me visit this office since I was due for glasses. I also have a few health issues that can affect my eye health so I’m glad they offered testing that was needed to fully see my eye health at such a great price. Can’t wait to get my new glasses from them soon.

Every year there is always an issue with them saying they can’t view my benefits. That is why I always call to make my appointments. I always verify what my copayment would be with their insurance department and I always get told my co-pay would be $35 when I get to my actual appointment, it’s always something new. They always wanna charge me the full price without insurance or tell me to come back at another time. I’ve never had a good experience here there’s always an issue. This time that you said that they couldn’t review my benefits because a different provider had authorization mind you and they told me to go see a real ophthalmologist to get a second opinion on glaucoma that I don’t have. My husband was able to see them and get his exam done two months ago so I don’t know what the issue is if we’re both on the same insurance policy.

I had a mixed experience at Pearle Vision - N. Rainbow. I recently received an eye treatment that involves gel and a small electronic device around the eye area.
During my first visit, the staff member who performed the treatment was excellent. She clearly knew what she was doing, and I noticed a positive difference afterward.
Unfortunately, my second and third experiences were very different. At my most recent appointment, I explained to the technician that I wanted someone experienced because I had concerns about how the previous treatment was performed. He assured me everything was fine, but then a trainee came in to perform the procedure while he left the room. I felt this was unprofessional, especially after I had already expressed my concerns.
The trainee seemed unsure of the process and applied too much gel, which made the treatment uncomfortable. I tried to explain my concerns during the procedure, but it still was not done correctly. I believe this is a management and training issue. Patients should be informed when a trainee will be performing a procedure and should have the option to request a more experienced staff member.
On a positive note, the lady with curly hair who works in the eyeglasses department was very professional, friendly, and helpful. She provided excellent customer service, and I truly appreciated her assistance.
I hope management takes patient concerns seriously and provides additional training to ensure a consistent experience for all patients.

Best eye clinic in town after living in Vegas for 10+ years. Reservation was super easy, front desk were friendly and welcoming. I want to shout out to Dr. Amy Hitzeman as she was super patient and knowledgable when explaining cataract with my mom. My mom took her advice and did cataract surgery for both eyes, now she can see clearly.
After the surgery, we came back to Pearle Vision for a new pair of reading glasses, and we were lucky enough to meet Nasim, who was super caring and guided my mom every step of the way as she was choosing her frames even when it was almost close to the end of the day. I also appreciate how this shop offers some designer-style frames at affordable prices and they don't push you to those out-of-pocket luxury brands. Overall 10/10 recommend this place and we will definitely come back!

Great experience. I had been to another location a few years ago so this was my first visit at this location. From booking appointments online for my children (13, 4) & myself, to the in office visit - everything was seamless. I have been going to pearl vision for 2 years and during the 2nd visit my suspicion raised. This year i am happy to say I have left this company that SCAMS their consumer for every penny. First, when you do their questionnaire prior to your visit, it will give you NO OPTION to opt out of their extra services like optomap and quantify for an extra $44+. Second I found EXTEA FEES on my receipts. Lastly after going to a new optometrist on spring mountain, i have found i have been overpaying pearl vision for contacts. After 200$ allowance from insurance for contacts I STILL PAID 200$ out of pocket because their own brand was $400+. When I took my business to spring mountain their contacts were under 200$, after insurance I paid 40$ out of pocket. Also when suspicion arised, i was met with a sense of annoyance and frustration from their staff when im simply trying to understand WHY IM PAYING SO MUCH. Doctors are wonderful but nearly every doctor is wherever you go but justify getting SCAMMED..

Also look up Luxottica 60 min on youtube and youll see how deceitful they are to the consumer. Get your prescription from a doctor and buy your Eyewear from online stores, its cheaper and youll get more for your money than you ever will at a Luxottica owned company like PEARL VISION.

Very poor customer service. I came in the store a little after 5pm and I’m the only Wesson there. There was the manager sitting and another lady just taking the trash. After 10 mins waiting the manager finally helped me. I was upset on how long it took to get help even though I’m the only person inside the store. I would NOT SUGGEST GOING TO THIS STORE

This Clinic has a poor service when it comes to patients trying to get in touch just to pick up my prescription reading glass. I have called in the morning up to now it’s 4:30 late in the afternoon no answer or response. Is this how they conduct their Business? Thank you 🤣
