Veronica is an excellent dental hygienist. If I voice any concerns, Dr. Athari is well-informed when he comes in to consult. I've been going there for many years, and I've never gotten the "surprise bill". They are always clear about what is covered. If I'm looking for extras, they generally know a ballpark and give me options. Seeing Diesel is a big highlight as well. I would smuggle that dog out in my purse if I could.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Athari’s for about 12 years, and I can honestly say he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had.

The first time I came to his office was after another dentist told me I needed two root canals and that the treatment would cost over $4,000 even with insurance. Dr. Athari took a more conservative approach and was able to save both teeth. That experience alone earned my trust, and he’s continued to exceed my expectations ever since.

Dr. Athari is incredibly skilled, professional, honest, and compassionate. He takes the time to explain everything, makes you feel comfortable, and genuinely cares about his patients. Dental visits can be stressful, but I always feel at ease in his care.

I am the kind of person who pays close attention to details, especially when it comes to insurance and billing. After I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance, I noticed several issues and called the insurance company to verify. They confirmed that my concerns were valid.

The main issue was that my secondary insurance had been billed as the primary insurance. Delta confirmed they had no record of my primary insurance on file, only a note stating that I had another insurance plan. I worked with a Delta representative, and they explained that everything would need to be resubmitted either by the dental office or through a claim filed by me.

When I brought this to the office staff’s attention, I was not looking for an argument. I was simply trying to point out the issue so they could review it and correct the billing. Unfortunately, the staff became defensive and rude. That experience is what ultimately caused me to lose trust in the office after being a patient there for five years.

To be clear, this review is not about the doctor’s performance. My concern is strictly with the billing process and the way the office staff handled the situation. A billing mistake can happen, but how it is addressed matters. Patients should feel heard and respected when they bring forward legitimate concerns.

I have been a patient at this office since around 2021, and I have witnessed many positive changes and improvements over time, including the move to a new location and the addition of wonderful new staff. I can honestly say that every change has been for the better.

Through it all, one thing has remained consistent: the exceptional work Dr. Athari provides. I have had a significant amount of dental work done recently to fix my smile, and I could not be more pleased with the results.

I also have to highlight my experiences with my dental hygienist, Veronica; she is truly one of the best dental professionals I have ever worked with. After a deep cleaning, she has successfully brought my gums to a very healthy state. She is incredibly professional and genuinely cares about the overall well-being of her patients. I couldn’t be happier.

When you walk into Dr. Athari’s office, you immediately feel right at home. Oh, and I can't forget to mention one of my favorite parts of my visits: seeing Diesel! He is quite professional, often showing up to work in a tie, and he is absolutely adorable. 🐾🐕

Very disappointing experience.

Their text communication was inconsistent and unreliable. On multiple occasions, responses took several days, and I often had to follow up or call to receive a reply.

Despite multiple attempts to reach them by both text and email, it still took over a month to receive a quote.

I also felt there was little care and consideration given to the sensitivity of my previous dental work. Even three months later, the area still hurts when flossing, which is concerning.

To make matters worse, they refused to provide me with a copy of my patient file when requested.

Overall, the lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and transparency makes it hard to recommend this place

Dr Athari has wonderful (bedside?) manners. He's kind, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and explained every tooth/problem simply and thoroughly. After my insurance, a deep clean is almost $900. They said it's a very thorough deep clean with a laser that requires 2 seperate appointments due to the numbing. In hindsight, I should've asked if there was a regular cleaning (such as the ones that are typically free with insurance 🤦🏾‍♀️). But I already paid that down payment so I'll have to update y'all with the review on whether it's worth it or not. Although I haven't had the service done yet... I am looking forward to getting all of my work done with this team that feels like they care. The place was spotless, too bright for comfort (but understandable since they're literally looking into dark holes on our faces), well stocked with sterile supplies, and had TV's and fancy looking technology technology everywhere.

Honestly the worst consultation of my life. Yes I needed lots of work and after explaining why and how my teeth got to this point. Basically I didn't have the money to take care of stuff years and years ago. So I chose extractions because I couldn't afford the care. Fast forward years and much, much better financial situation. He began explaining that he is not dealing with 300 or 1000 dollars worth of work( I understood before that it wasn't going to be cheap at all) because if it was that amount why go to school and work hard to make no money. He kept going on about the cost and how he may not be able to help me and how bad it was..he repeated this several times. I had never felt so put down by someone. I guess he didn't see the dollar signs. I don't doubt his actual skills, he might be the best in the city. I would just work on people skills. It also wasn't a telling it straight forward like it is type of thing either. He went out of his way to say what he said, I'm not out to damage his image or business but it was just out of line.

Dr Athari is an incredible dentist, He listens to his patients. He does not double-book. I have a fear of the dentist, however he makes it easy for me to see him. We discussed all the work that needs to be done in my mouth. I am a cash-paying patient and I’m still waiting, For the total cost, of everything that needs to be done. His office staff has yet to send it to me. Dr.Athari has referred me out for a root canal, and crown before we can proceed. Which I greatly appreciate. However, without the total price of all the work that’s needed by him. I’m considering doing dentures at this point. I certainly can not afford $20,000 in dental work. Yet I would love to have my, Beautiful smile back.

Dr Athari has the best Dentist Practice in all the Las Vegas Valley. Went in for a minimally invasive dental cleaning/laser procedure due to my periodontal disease and deep pockets and I’m still a bit awestruck at the care and precision his team performed on my teeth. I called the office to find out an estimate for an implant without the bone graft and the receptionist Jenifer was misinformed, she just wouldn’t give me an estimate. She said to drive there for an X-ray and find out the price. I have a little baby and I can’t just drive around to find out the prices. All other clinics have me an estimate. I flew in from DC to see Dr. Athari.....I flew in for many reasons, but one of the main things on my list was to go see him to make sure everything is ok......I prefer him over any dentist in the country for MANY REASONS. I have been neglecting my tooth for almost a year now. It’s like never the right timing to pay my dentist a visit, even though i received 2 reminders that my visit was due. The other day I was at work, when my left side of the head started hurting and pulsing so bad! I wasn’t able to concentrate or even think. I have never experienced a pain like that.

I reached out to Dr. Athari and he said that was an infectious pain and to come straight to the office. Dr. Athari took care of my emergency situation within an hour the pain was gone! I was amazed of the efficiency of the work.

So I started off 10min late with a proper call to inform them I would be late with very little fuss. Reception desk area was was a delight with antique furniture and the chocolate fill to the room felt like being inside of a lounge. Everybody was super friendly and we even cracked a Joke or two they are really on their feet lol. I was referred by Cindy who did a Immaculate job on cleaning my teeth and Dr. Athari because of him I'm no longer ignoring about my tooth care he did an amazing job explaining and showing everything he needed to let me know of this place is amazing. Well the day started off great! Then I enjoyed a nice plum. Couple hours later my tooth was bothering me. I called to make an appointment and Dr. Athari was able get me in. This by far was one of the best dental experiences ever. Quick and virtually painless, just minutes later Dr. Athari had extracted a couple of teeth and I was on my way out the door. A caramel ripped out a piece of my tooth on vacation! I being away from my regular dentist went looking for someone who could tell me what to do .I was able to get into Dr. Athari with 30 minutes of calling! Wow - I have admit at home any dentist who can fit you in the same day is not a good one... But I needed to see a dentist so I took a chance.

The receptionist was really friendly. They took my x-rays and then I saw the Dr. He explained my options... And was awesome. I was only in Vegas for a few more days as I was en route to Phoenix. Dr. Athari explained the best solution would be a crown as there is a large filling on my tooth. So he could do the crown prep later that day and then fit a temp crown, and he had his partner dentist on phoenix that would put on the permanent crown. I was shocked he could get me in same day for a crown! At home I have to book that kind of thing 4-6 weeks in advance!

I had a crown done at home in Canada on a different tooth on March 2018, and it was a terrible experience. So I was super apprehensive about getting another... But I had no choice really.... And I didn't want to go back to the dentist that sucked at home... So I took a chance and had Dr. Athari do the crown that afternoon.

What a great dentist! He takes pictures as he goes and shows you your tooth, and how the proceedure worked. The temporary stayed on nearly 3 weeks till I had the dentist in Mesa for the permanent crown! I had no pain at all. Dr athari even texted to make sure I was ok on several occasions!

The dentist in Mesa, was awesome as well. Great service, and installed my crown without any freezing!

I am so greatful for Dr. Athari making this experience easy, and even though I wasn't planning to get a crown his pricing was reasonable.

For anyone who searches for places like I did on Yelp and Google, Search no more. (Seriously) Dr Athari & His staff not only went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all time, but he literally became my favorite Dentist before I walked out of his office. I've HATED the idea of getting this work done / seeing a dentist out of old fears; I had 3 teeth pulled, one of which was in more pain than anything I've experienced in my life; He literally had the first tooth out within 30 seconds (No Joke) and the other two were out in no time. Absolutely no pain; and his knowledge is absolutely incredible. I'll never go to another dentist as long as he's in business; I would fly from anywhere in the world to see this guy. Seriously; Make the appointment. I was in SO MUCH PAIN and the pricing his team offered is the best I've ever seen, not to mention they got me in hours after I called them. Five Stars isn't enough. Thank YOU Dr Athari and Team. Words can't even begin to describe how excited I am to begin this journey with such an awesome team.

I am here on Vacation and I needed to go to the Dentist. I was referred by my Friend to Dr. Athari. I am very apprehensive of Dentist due to my bad experiences stemming back to my childhood. I walked into the office and noticed that there was no barrier between me and the receptionist, and was greeted with a smile, also the office door was open. Wow no barriers first time ever. I waited a short time and was escorted for x-rays of my teeth. That was a great start. Quick and easy. I then saw Dr. Athari where he took another 50 plus pictures of my teeth. Dr Athari spend 15 to 20 minutes with me explaining how my teeth looked and what I could do to improve my brushing. After the Doctors evaluation, I meet with Cindy the Hygienist that clean my teeth and did a great job. Dr Athari has state of the art technology in the office. You are treated like a superstar from the minute you walk in the office. Dr Atari should be voted best Dentist in Las Vegas.

I have been in many dentistry in my life, but none of them were as detailed and professional as Dr. Athari.
In my opinion your teeth are like a canves for him and he has to make the best art piece out of that.
Simply he concern more about my teeth than I do.

I saw Dr. Athari yesterday for the first time. He was every bit amazing as the reviews I read previously!! I was so nervous because I knew I had cavities for a while now from a previous cleaning and until I had dental insurance I couldnt have them filled. I knew the cavities had been progressing for a while now and it gave me anxiety to think of all the things wrong that I would be hearing about in this visit. He was so calm, kind and of course very intelligent. I will be recommending him to everyone I work with because I know he is in our network. *Did I mention he see's ONE client at a time? That there is ONE client in the ENTIRE office at a time? It was a totally different experience that I loved, so I will be going to only him from now on. Thank you Dr. Athari for changing the whole game. :)

This review is long overdue. Dr. Athari is the best dentist I've had in my life. He walks you through each and every procedure as he's doing it. Educating his patients is a big part of what he does. He actually has no dental assistants or hygienists. He does all the work himself. He always makes me feel very comfortable and makes sure I have no pain during more intense procedures. Moreover, when I had to have some serious work done, he called me personally that evening, and the next day to check on me. Who does that any more? His staff is nice and friendly, there is no wait time when you arrive at your appointment, and the office is clean and comfortable. Like I said, best dentist ever.

Dr. Athari is an excellent dentist who gives you personal attention at reasonable rates. He always works with you to get you in as quickly as possible, and is attentive to your needs and dental care. He never suggests any services that are unnecessary, but does address preventative care. He is thorough and professional.

We've been going to Dr. Athari four years. His current location is much more convenient for us, and now we have our family dentist nearby. I highly recommend him as a dental care specialist who will give you very fine service every time.

I recently went to this dentist Dr. Athari / Pleasantsmiles and I am so impressed with him I just wanted to share with you all some neat info on why I will only go to him from now on. There is this camera that takes pictures of your teeth before and after he works on them to show you with your own eyes what needs to be worked on, what you need to improve on when brushing and flossing. After he shows you pictures of the work he did....it really is an eye opener to see it yourself and not just what someone is telling you. Best thing is he doesn't work on more then one person at a time, He gives you his divided attention. Another great thing is he works on both kids and adults and the best part is he has his own dental plans if you dont have insurance! I would recommend him if you are in the Las Vegas area.

Dr. Athari has been my dentist for over a year now and I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. I would avoid getting my teeth worked on at all cost. Till I got that pain in my teeth that I could not ignore any more. However since I found Dr. Athari I have over come that fear. He has helped take away my fears since he started working on my teeth. He makes me feel so at ease and educates me every step of the way.

Best dentist ever! I have been going to Athari for about 3 years and every time it's a pleasant experience every time, well about as pleasant as it gets going to a dentist lol. His motto is "It's a Lifestyle" and he answers your questions and concerns at anytime, even through a text! I don't have insurance and he's still VERY affordable. It's a comfortable setting and you get to watch t.v while he drills in your teeth. About as good as it gets for a dentistry!
