The visit 07.23.2025 was very disappointing.

Dr. Richard N. King, DO just showed his real color. He came in with a very stern facial expression and did not even bother to greet us after waiting to see him.

The consultation was more of being scolded and forced to accept what he persistently wanted me to undergo. He delivered all his requirements without any compassion or even a bit of human understanding.
He knew I just recovered after fighting bronchitis and acute (URI) for straight 21 days and didn’t even ask how I was doing. Of course I had to refuse all the 5 things he wanted me to undergo.

My husband and I being more educated, we didn’t react towards his rudeness and took everything from him with calmness. Instead of taking the door where he came in, he stood up and opened the door for us where we came in and simply said “Bye- bye!” with a lot of sarcasm!

Wanting to be more proper and educated, we simply took the door he opened for us and said thank you and stepped out.

On our way out, the receptionist noticed that Dr. King never filled up the date when I should be back. The receptionist offered to go back to ask him but we simply said, it’s alright and we thank her and proceeded to take our exit.

Good visit, Dr King knows what he is doing. He diagnosed my hernia, varicose vains and bunion.
Dr. King had diagnosed that I needed both sides done 5 years ago. The surgeon at that time did only one side. Here we are 5 years later and I'm going for the other side in the near future. Dr King is great at diagnosis! He is the best!

I must admit my opinion of Dr King has drastically changed. He has been super attentive to my complex health issues. All of my referrals are handled quickly and “in network “ without issues or delay. He takes his time and make sure that I understand everything that is going on with my care, and has even changed some of my specialty doctors as he feels the ones I had were not handling my care as they should. Whatever has changed in that practice is definitely for the better.

I do not have a problem personally with Dr. King but several times there have been problems with his office responding to Albertson’s request for a prescription when I have run out of refills. Albertson’s has been trying to get a refill for almost a week. I am leaving on vacation tonight and I need it (it is chloresterol medication). I went into Dr. King’s office and his assistant said, “I marked the request “urgent” but technically Dr. King has up to 48 hours to sign it…I’ll do my best but he is with patients…maybe next time you should have the pharmacy contact us before you run out.” (I did.)

I've been taking the same meds for 10 years in TABLET FORM. For some unknown reason the doctor switched it to CAPSULE FORM, which costs 2 1/2 times more than the TABLET. Now my insurance won't cover my meds and you can't get hold of the doctor on Saturdays. What do they teach in Medical Schools today, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....

Dr. Richard King has been my doctor almost three years now! I bring notes on questions I have for him. We discuss it and write down his advice so I remember. I love his staff as well and am delighted the whole staff and other doctor came with him to 595 W.Lake Mead office! The attached urgent care are nice...they can even do Xrays ! For all that post negatively.... You expect results yet do not follow Dr King's advice! Good health is up to you. Doctor helps you stay on track! It's a two way street, people!

I was rushed it was my first visit I asked for heartburn medicine and back pain medicine I had to end up having to call back to the doctor and. have them sent to my pharmacy when I get to the pharmacy he only ordered my pain medicine and not my nexium
