First one star is not for Dr. Sparling. It's for his practice. For the past 5 years I've been flying back and forth from Nevada to So. Carolina staying a month & longer for my daughter battling cancer, severe infection with Lymphoedema. Yes I had to reschedule appointments with my new PCP Dr. Sparling.. I slept at the hospital many nights at my daughter's bedside being told she had 3 days to live. Five years later my daughter was transported to my house here in Henderson Nevada.impatient "Pro Care Hospice" took charge; admitted her where she passed away with me holding her head up, 1 week later. Now through my grief I became mentally disabled and physically very weak; at "75 years" old, I became I un- functional also having no support from the few family (3).as during that time my mother and father died I needed now to get medical help from my new PCP, I had an appointment and arranged a ride all set to go when I received a call from Dr. Sparling's office the morning of my appointment, I believe his nurse. She was rude telling me Dr S. Would rather I change doctors , I hadn't got established with him yet. I finally thought I could take care of my medical needs, by a knowledgeable doctor (Dr Sparling had good reviews) I was left without a PCP. I was also told He would not write a prescription for 5mg of Valium that I had a been prescribed over the past tragic 5 years. I called My health plan,I'm on a special needs plan due to heart issues, they changed me back to my previous PCP, A nurse practitioner. Retro back to June 1st. At least my previous NP would have understood and called me with compassion. I won't be a number and his staff are all human showing that each patient has unique needs & situations do happen. They are all under intermountain med. Group. I'm grieving for my beautiful daughter Jenelle, she is the Love of my life my best friend+ I pray every minute, I fought the good fight, I ran the race, I endured, I kept the faith. Blessings to Dr. Roland Sparling. I'm sure is has been an asset to many but over booked my mom went to him for years changed because she couldn't get an appointment.

The office staff and medical staff are wonderful: understanding, compassionate and respectful and responsive. I called with a semi-emetgency and although there were no appointments available, they somehow made room for me. The doctor even stayed beyond his usual quitting time to see me and even run some tests. I couldn't have received better care
