Very professional and well run office. Assistant was competent and had a great personality. In fact, everyone in the office was very pleasant and made going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. I have always hated the dentist from a dentist from my childhood, I decided it’s time to tackle my fear and start rebuilding a healthy smile. I touched the reviews and noticed a lot of people had also mentioned they don’t like the dentist, but they feel welcome here and I couldn’t agree more.

Very informative from when you walk into the front desk to win the hygienist there or when you see the assistant and either of the doctors. They talk you through everything answer your questions and I don’t feel judged here.

Honestly, The Dentist is better than Absolute Dental. It's within biking distance from the house. It's right across from the gym. For either tooth filling or even cavity, the copay is absolutely affordable with a discount from Aetna. I would like to come back to The Dentist again. I researched The Dentist online. Reviews and ratings were very high. Had to switch dentists as my 40-year one retired. So I was a little uncomfortable with a new one but what I found was a team of caring, attentive, professional and very friendly staff from the receptionist, Elizabeth, to the hygienist, Marta, to the dentist, Dr. Naweed. Technology for establishing me as a new patient is so advanced and helpful and fully explained. All were there “for me” and listened to my dental needs and concerns with no pressure - and they took care of filing with my dental insurance on the spot so I don’t have to file any paperwork! 10/10. Very nice people, I needed a root canal and I have a pretty bad history with the dentist , however NOT HERE. Everyone was so nice and patient. Shoutout to haille(sorry if i spelled it wrong) , she made me very comfortable from the x-rays , to being right by my side during the root canal. I went to “The Dentist” for a second opinion and thank God I did. I was facing losing an anchor tooth and going from a three-tooth permanent Bridge to a fourth-tooth bridge which is a weaker bridge. Dr. Kung’s recommendation saved my anchor tooth and kept me with a three tooth bridge. My former dentist had recommend a course of action I didn’t want, was fearful of, and was more costly, Dr. Kung was able to save my tooth and keep me with a better solution for a permanent bridge. I had my teeth cleaned Monday, May 11th, and I had to leave a review because the dental hygienist was AMAZING. I have braces, so cleanings are usually a process, but she was so thorough and detailed. Like most others, I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say nothing at all !!!!!!
But word of advice if you want to show profit then revise the billing And authorization department. I am still waiting to be notified from your office for an authorization that I didn’t need from February and I have already seen a new doctor and I am already scheduled to have the work done. There was no authorization needed. I scheduled an appointment and before I left the office they gave me all of the payment information for my copayment that I would need to pay for the work I would need done. I didn’t have to come back and wait until they got an authorization to see me.
BTW…. This office does not even take Medicaid, I’m not sure why people say they used it there.

Went to The Dentist for an emergency. I had seen their ads on instagram and I must say I was very pleased when I left. Dr. Naweed went over my treatment and immediately prescribed me medication for an infection that has caused me so much pain (that the ER missed). Instead of just trying to work on my tooth while I had pain he explained that he needs my antibiotics to work first so when I get my procedure the numbing medication will work. This is Knowing your job, Caring about your patients, and Making people comfortable. The prices I was quoted were significantly better than my now previous dentist office and every cost was broke down to understand why I would be charged a certain amount. The office manager even sat with me and reviewed financial options that helped people with challenged credit. I have never looked forward to going to the dentist growing up. With so many dentists in LV to choose from, it’s hard to decide who to go to. Unless you’re knowledgeable about dental procedures and what to look for when choosing a dentist, it can become a challenge to find the best one who can help you. There are too many horror stories involving poor dental work and that’s exactly what I want to avoid.

Most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist and some try and avoid it at all costs. By the time they go to the dentist, they’ve waited so long and now a lot of procedures must be done to revive their oral health. It can be embarrassing and costly.

The first impression I had on my first visit with Dr. Naweed began before I made my appointment. His website is very comprehensive and helpful.

When I called to make an appointment his staff was friendly and competent.

When I arrived for my first appointment I was greeted by the receptionist/manager and I didn’t have to wait at all before I was taken back to a private exam room. The dental assistant was comforting, personable and kind. She let me know every step of the way what to expect next as she took X-rays, etc.

A few minutes later Dr Naweed came in and introduced himself. I am disabled and need a wheelchair to get around. He thanked me for filling out the pre-appointment form in detail. Then he surprised me by telling me how he had spent some time online reading and learning more about my condition. It’s considered a rare disease and most doctors don’t know a lot about it. It was so good to hear that my dentist had taken the time to find out more about it— not one doctor I’ve gone to has ever said anything like that. Unfortunately, many of the doctors will try to appear like they know all about it but as a patient suffering with the disease I can confidently say that they were just bluffing. I wish more of these doctors were more like Dr Naweed, DDS!

His office and the facility looks brand new and is sparkling clean- pristine clean. Dr Naweed has a wonderful, non-judgmental demeanor plus he’s very gentle and knowledgeable. He takes pride in his work and takes it seriously. He is also very friendly, honest and easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good dentist.

His support staff is also amazing and that’s really important when choosing a dentist. Phone calls and text messages are returned right away. It’s easy to get an appointment and I’ve never had to wait to get called back to the exam rooms.

I had a great experience at this office, especially considering my visit was very last-minute due to an emergency toothache. I had never been to this office before, but Elizabeth at the front desk truly went above and beyond.
She was incredibly helpful over the phone and took the time to look into my insurance, even confirming that they accept Medicaid. She explained that she needed to call for pre-approval and also personally contacted the office to obtain the referral — which made the whole process so smooth and stress-free. She honestly made my day.
Because of her help, I was able to get my medication right away. The location is very convenient, the office is clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I also really appreciated how well they communicate, including via text.

My 12 year old daughter had to have a baby tooth removed and she was extremely anxious. The doctor was very calm and caring, as well as the dental assistant that held her hand through the process.
They did a fantastic job and my daughter said she didn’t feel any pain, at all. She had had a bad experience in the past so it was so important that this go well - and it did! Great doctor and fantastic staff!

Dr Naweed did what other dentist wouldn’t do for me

I took before and after photos so you can see how awful the broken front tooth looked and see the totally awesome temporary fix he did for me!

He squeezed me into his very busy schedule by not taking a lunch break to accommodate my last minute emergency needs. WOW! Impressive!

Because this procedure is a very temporary Fix just to get me through the holidays The other Dentist I went to see, said it wasn’t worth doing as it was a waste of time and money because bonding on porcelain is temporary and it just won’t last

I was going to cancel all of my holiday festivities. But I didn’t have to do that because Dr. Naweed bonded my broken front tooth and it looks fabulous! Can’t even tell it was broken or repaired. I have my smile back even if it’s only through the holidays

The staff & Doctors at The Dentist located on Lake Meade near Sprouts is an awesome addition to the Summerlin Community! They are professional, thorough, explained options and goal. Came up with a care and treatment plan! I look forward to keeping my award winning smile with them!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Kung and his team! He removed my wisdom teeth and also took care of a few fillings and a crown, his work was good. Everything healed smoothly, and I felt completely taken care of throughout the whole process. Dr Kung genuinely cared to know if I was comfortable every step of the way.

The Medical Assistant Elizabeth, is so kind and truly excellent at her job. She makes check-ins and scheduling super easy. And Hailey, the dental assistant, is awesome, she’s patient, comforting, and really knows what she’s doing.

It’s hard to find a good dentist you can trust, but this office has an entire team of professionals who genuinely care. I highly recommend coming here.

They had all the high tech x-ray tools and were extremely knowledgeable and honest about what was going on with my teeth, and didn’t leave me in the dark about anything that was going on. Came here for a regular exam and cleaning and the entire visit was very nice! The doctor was very thorough during the cleaning. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. It did not feel rushed at all! Normally I’m also nervous going to the dentist, but the ambience here was calm and friendly. Receptionist was very pleasant as well! I thought that the office was really nice and clean. The front receptionist was pleasant and the dental assistant was very nice and accommodating. Loved all the modern equipment that they used, but I have to say I didn’t feel very comfortable with Dr. Najand. I don’t know, just didn’t get a very warm feeling when I met him. He explained all of my concerns, very thoroughly, but didn’t seem very pleasant to me. Maybe he was having a bad day.

This place shows great care, they go over your images and the process of everything thoroughly. I went in after not having any dental work a little over a year ( with braces) and I was due for a deep cleaning, I’ve had one once before and this one was a major difference compared to the so called “deep cleaning” I had previous.

They are gentle clean and knowledgeable. The lady at the front desk Elizabeth is patient and understanding, and the techs’/the people that get you ready for the doctor are kind and gentle as well. :))) if you’re thinking about visiting, do it!

Just moved back to Vegas and needed a dental practice that would give me a fair assessment of my dental health and I'm so glad I came to see Dr. Naweed at The Dentist. This place has ample parking and the office is immaculate. You may be greeted by Elizabeth who represents the business well with a warm greeting, a friendly smile, and a genuine passion to welcome patients. A short wait preceded entry into the exam room where Halley, as quick as her namesake comet, efficiently took a panoramic x-ray and seated me for more detailed chair-side x-rays and photos of my teeth with what looked like all state-of-the-art equipment. Again, the treatment rooms were spotless. Following a brief wait for Dr. Naweed, he entered and it was evident he reviewed the films and shared his impression of them with me. Fortunately, although expecting the worst from this 78 year-old food crushing apparatus, I was presently surprised that my 2-3 times a day brushing and once daily flossing stemmed the tide of decay. Dr. Naweed performed a cleaning, including de-scaling and Halley finished with brushing my teeth. In summary, Dr. Naweed was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. On top of that I was delighted with the special new patient price offering. Just so you know, my impression of this office, and staff was not atypical as my wife who was treated in an adjacent room, had the same experience. We love Dr. Naweed and evidently so too does his staff. We think you will too. Give them a try and I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.
