I was recently assigned Dr. Hakki as my primary care physician at UMC Primary Care @ The Medical District. I am impressed with the entire office staff. Dr. Hakki is a patient-centered provider who takes the time to address concerns and answer questions. His medical assistant, Adriana, and the front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. As a mental health professional, I am particularly impressed by the comprehensive care provided by UMC Primary Care. They offer a wide range of psychosocial screenings and make scheduling appointments, accessing health records, and referrals easy through the MyChart system. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new primary care provider. I also appreciate the central location of the office in The Medical District.

Providers dont care abour the health of Patrick i cam in with a dame day appointment i walk in at 150 due to traffic they said theu give a 10 min grace period well i was here at that time they walk to the back for damn near 10 min to speak to the provider who refused to see me even though you can see and hear i was in need of medical help. Horrible provider. Mind you, it's a new patient appointment, so it's already scheduled for a longer time, which wouldn't have cut into his time. Theu dont stay the who 30 to 45min with you but they get paid for it anyway.

Do not come here! First of all it’s in the ghetto. So I should have expected my experience to be exactly what it was. I was 8 minutes late because i got off on the wrong exit. Still i arrived within their 10 grace period. When i walked in the lady at the reception desk was with a patient. She greeted me and told me she’s be with me in a moment. About 3 minutes later (while still helping the same patient she then and only then asks for my name. I tell her and she says ok i’m going to check you in and they will call you back. So i sit down and wait. About 5 minutes later the woman now done with the patient she was initially helping announces that she will have to reschedule me due to me arriving one minute late. Which was a bold face lie. She did even ask my name until i had already been there for at least 3 minutes. I told her that I was good on the reschedule. I don’t want to establish care with anyplace that would so blatantly lie in my face as if i don’t own a watch and a phone both of which tell the correct time. I would have even accepted “The NP has an urgent appointment and needs to reschedule”. I work in healthcare so that’s understandable. But the lie is unacceptable. I’ll pass. Please seek care elsewhere

I went here to establish care. And I was seen by Elizabeth Matthews APRN. She was amazing and caring. Her staff was also very nice. After this visit, I am doing much better with my overall health thank you umc primary care medical district team.

Yesterday I went to establish care here at UMC Primary Care. It was an amazing experience. I had Dr Hakki and he made sure to make me feel comfortable, I'm usually not open with Doctors, yea I'm a weirdo. On top of that the facility was very clean and the staff was very helpful on updating my UMC Chart information. Overall there was nothing bad about my experience here and I am looking forward to come back, next time I come back the scale will be able to read my weight and I won't have to take off my shoes or take my wallet out of my shorts/pants.

Everyone is really nice, from admin to nurses to doctors. They’re super efficient (I waited for like 1 min in the waiting room before I was called) and I really felt like the nurses and doctors listened to me.
Also. Not too bad in terms of the self pay.

My experience at UMC today was incredible based on a staff member that went above and beyond for me. She is a charge nurse here, her name is Nydia and she went out of her way to get me resources and helping me feel heard from a patient perspective. She really made a bad day better
