Went here today and even though I wasn’t able to get any work done :( everyone treated me so kindly I have had bad experiences with a few dentists , they didn’t make me feel bad about my mouth situation they talked to me about my options which Medicaid we all know covers hardly anything but I have a clear understanding what I need and was given estimates and trust me if I could afford it I would of got the work done and paid for :( but when I do have a dental emergency I will be coming back thank u

My experience with Dr. Truong and his staff was absolutely one of best interactions I've had not just with dental offices, but out of all other doctor's offices I've had to visit. Go to Vista Dental if you want a dental office that is: Friendly, competent, and compassionate.

Longer review below:

1.) Friendly: -- From start to finish, every person I encountered was pleasant. You can tell they actually seem happy despite working in a medical setting, which can be quite stressful. I was surprised because you can usually feel the tension in most offices. This immediately put me at ease, and I knew I made the right decision.

2.) Competent: -- Dr. Truong and his hygienists know what they're doing. I needed (2) of my wisdom teeth extracted. One of them could be easily extracted, but the one was on my bone or too close to my bone, so Dr. Truong referred me to a specialist who has more specialized knowledge of my situation. Were he unscrupulous or greedy, he would have just done it. He even suggested I do both with the specialists because it would be more convenient for me to do it at the same time. My hygienist was also superb at her job, and cleaned up my teeth nicely. You can tell she knew what she was doing, and she was very kind. I never felt worried, and she was constantly reassuring me that it was okay.

3.) Compassionate: -- Both Dr. Truong and my hygienist were so caring about my situation. I've neglected my dental health because of problems and they told me everything was okay and it's normal. You can tell they actually cared and weren't just saying 'ok'. Dr. Truong even asked me further questions to really try and understand my situation. He helped me out so much with cleaning when I've been struggling to balance finances, and I am very grateful for that. It's rare to encounter people who actually care these days.

In summary, while I was expecting a positive experience from reading reviews, this absolutely exceeded my expectations not just for a dental office, but for any medical office. Every single person was friendly with a smile on their face. Dr. Truong and his staff are competent, and you can trust that they're going to do a good job. Beyond that, they are caring and you can see their compassion with their actions.

I called them. I did not go to this dentist. I have perfect teeth. All I need is a cleaning. Cleanings have cost me $100 at dentists in the past couple of years. But when I called in here, I was told that I would have to pay $$$ for x-rays first and I might have to give them $200-plus for a deep cleaning. No thanks.

I went to this dentist today, I have to get my wisdom teeth removed & I did mentioned to Dr . Truong I was terrified & I actually was very nervous. He told me he doesn’t get paid enough to deal with me 😨 laughing trying to be funny while I was in pain, scared & nervous. Yes he really did say that!!
He referred me some where else. I had to ask for pain medication, he really did not care at all & I truly felt that. Ms. Cecilia at the front desk was amazing & gave me all the information I needed, Ms. Cecilia definitely cares more about the patients than the Dr.
I will never go back to this place.

Although dentist and employee are nice they are extremely rough.. Three times I've taken my grandchildren there and they complain about how rough the dentist is... and dental assistance are. Terrible place of business. The dr has absolutely no patience for questions at all and seems extremely money hungry and also performs poor work. I've been to the location twice and had work performed just the first time. I had a few cavities done and also had two teeth that needed to be pulled and replaced either by dental implant or bridge work. His price quote was extremely high around $8,000 for either bridge work or dental implant plus the tooth removal would have to be by referral to another friend of his dentist but didn't know how much they'd charge. So I left after my cavities where done and thought id outsource on my own. Coming across unlv school of dental who said they'd do all the work under $2,000 although the work would be done by students but it's a lot longer process. Moving forward 6 months while drinking water one of my cavities he did suddenly just falls out. I call his office to make an appointment when I go in to see him again he's very short with me and frustrated by any questions I might have. He looks at my tooth that my cavity fell out of and now tells me that I need a crown the cost being a $1,000 i said it's not just a cavity fill hee startes no the whole is too big fur the cavity. Im thinking well your the one who did it what did you mess up. He then asks me why I didn't take his referral to his friends dentist and I replied because I couldn't afford $8,000 for work performed and that I found a much better deal for me. That must have insulted him because he leaves without scheduling an appt for me. Sends the nurse in to tell me to check with my insurance to see if there's a better deal for me. I stated ok I will but if they don't have one should I just call back and make an appointment with them. Her reply was the dr would like you to go somewhere else. I ask why and she says because the dr would like you to do your work somewhere else. Completely unprofessional and I would not use this place ever. I would stay away if I was anyone else.

I called my actual dentist office and I left a voicemail stating that I had an emergency and requested a call back. Days went by and I never heard from them. I looked around and found Vista Dental. 😃 I called and they were so nice. They didn’t have any openings until Thursday 6/25/20. However, I got two calls moving my appointment up to Wednesday and then moved to today at 4:30pm. So, they got me in the day after I called. I never had to call to see if there were any cancellations. That was the best impression from the beginning. I was so grateful because it was hard to eat. Then when I actually went into the office today I was NOT disappointed. They are so clean, friendly, and patient in every aspect. Ashely was my amazing Assistant and Dr. Ben Nhan Troung is the best! He made me feel so comfortable from the moment he introduced himself all the way until I left the office. He actually cares about EVERY patient. Also, I was in at 4:30pm and was out by 6:30pm. So, he is quick and he knows what he is doing. I was numbed and didn’t feel it. All I felt was pressure. That was a first for me! Any other dentist I have been to have numbed me for like 8 hours and the work was still painful. It is 7pm and I barely feel numb. Of course this experience may be different for others depending on the work they need. All I can say is that I am so happy! The positive reviews on here are ALL accurate 💯! As a student, it would have been nice to have a payment plan option but they were still generous to me in doing whatever they could. I didn’t mind spending the money because it was worth the service I received. If you go here you WILL NOT regret it. Thank you ALL...from the person that answered the call, who called me to get in the next day, the lady at the front, my assistant, and the Doctor! This was my first visit but it WILL NOT be my last! Absolutely wonderful. Was seen on an URGENT basis within 24hrs of calling. Could not be more satisfied with my visit and the entire staff. Front desk check in was made extra easy and Gigi at the front desk was so nice and helpful. Once taken into the back, Ashley was AMAZING. She was so nice and comforting. She is truly a godsend, im extra queezy and she was so accommodating. From xrays, to the exam to the ROOT CANAL I ended up needing during the same visit, the enitre staff and doctor were so professional and prompt. In and out in under 2 hours with a HECKA smile on my face. (Even after the root canal🤣) 10 out of 10. Will be back and will DEFINITELY reccomend. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Dr. Truong is an amazing dentist with great bedside manner and dentistry skills. He fixed my receding gum using the new pinhole technique, which is less invasive than the traditional gum graft. It's been 4 months and my gum looks and feels great. He also did a great job of fixing my cavities, making sure I had enough anesthesia, and answered all of my questions. His staff people are also excellent---very polite and professional, greet you with a smile.
I admit I am terrible at flossing my teeth but Dr. Truong does a good job of advising me to floss more without using negative reinforcement. He is very encouraging and approachable. I never feel like I am being talked down to.
I stopped going to the dentist for 8 years in a row because of bad experiences with other dentists. I drive 40 minutes to see Dr. Truong because he is worth it. He is the only dentist I trust with my teeth.

From the front receptionist the ladies giving the x-rays, and the doctor this place is the only denal office that I will let clean my teeth. These peole were so kind! The dentist Dr. Nhan Truong, was the one who cleaned my teeth and fixed my chipped tooth. How many dentist are the ones who do the cleaning? It's usually the dental assistant. Not here, Dr.Nhan Troung is one of the last breed of health professionals that makes the time to get to know you. He did a wonderful job on fixing my chipped tooth, as well as the cleaning.

Oscar, was the one that did my X-Ray and let me tell you, he was very friendly and gental..I like the way he made sure everything was sterile, even putting a plastic cover over my head rest, that alone told me how clean the office..Doctor was very nice and proficient..I’m glad I made the right choice..Staff is Awesome!!!

I was so afraid of dental visits. After my initial visit I was so comfortable and so impressed. I would recommend this office to all of my family and friends. The staff is so wonderful and warm. The dentist is very great with explaining everything to the patients. The dental assistant "Kay" is so friendly and so nice I absolutely love her.

There Staff , are very nice . when I finally was able to make an appointment for Dr. Truong , This was my second visit.. I had my Exam , He asked me, what I felt , I wanted him to do to correct , That needed to be done.. I never had a Dentist , ask me what should they do.. I explained to him, Then he tells me , I need to find a Specialist to complete the care I needed to have done, My wait time , ( 2-3 hours), I was not happy about that , by the time he explained , That he was not able to correct , my problem... I WAS SO ANGRY.. Especially now today 05/18/2017 , made several attempts to get my records & my referral , That is needed , to see a specialist.. I have not heard from no one, every time you call after 2 rings the automated recording states , All staff is currently busy with Patients... So basically when , you have spoke to the receptionist prior, you can not reach her, and message clearly states. ( Your return call will be handled with In 3- 8 minutes. It never has happened .. Very Sad to myself , That it has become to where I needed to write a review as true as I experienced from Vista Dental..

I'm always nervous going to the dentist but this place made me feel welcome and calmed my nerves. The front office person was very nice. The dental assistant was amazing. She and I had a good conversation and it actually helped calm my nerves a lot. The dentist was very thorough and pulled my tooth very fast and got it all even though it was breaking because I had a cracked tooth. I need lots of dental work and they have me advise and a dental plan. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I also did not have to wait a long time. My appt was at 2 and I did all the X-rays and had the tooth pulled in just about an hour total time. Which is a big plus for me because who wants to wait hours to get dental work done especially when you're nervous! 😊

By far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Booked and appt 2 weeks in advance sent me a confirmation text, next day had no recollection of the appt or my information....then to make matters worst when I called to find out what was going on a week later "the receptionist" says of you don't like how we do things you don't have to come here...the nerve!!! This place and their business should not be accepted! In customer service 101 you apologize for you pitty end smh!
