I went to see Dr. Chen because he's on my network, and I left with a disappointment. The paperwork asked lots of questions of which I don't feel it is relevant, and it doesn't once ask about what I want to cover with the Doctor. When being seen by the doctor for the first time, I felt he didn't spend time with my concern or my condition, and he seems to be in a rush to get me out of the door. Incomplete prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy with the wrong dosage, and it has not been corrected yet. :-(

The staff here is wonderful, but I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Bobby! I was having a tough time getting my medication from the pharmacy and he jumped right in to help. He got on the phone, figured out the issue, and kept me in the loop the whole time. He was so supportive and genuinely caring throughout the whole thing. They are truly lucky to have him at this office!

This place is truly a gem. We are in desperate need of primary care due to medical emergencies. Bobby had helped us to get in the next day to get ourselves established. The clerk are all friendly and helpful. But really a big shoutout to Bobby!! He really cares. We didnt had to wait as well and was in and out of our appt time. Office is clean. This is our first visit so we dont really have an opinion about how good the doctor is. But Staff were great!

I had a few MRIs and x-rays done and still felt uncertainty with what was exactly causing me pain so I called the office asked if it was possible for the doctor to send me 1 additional referral prior to my reevaluation without having to come in for a visit. Both times Sandy at the front desk told me she would leave a note for the doctor however no action was taken. I just called again and was told I probably could not get that referral without an in person visit, but I don’t understand why this information couldn’t have been given to me prior. Truly just poor service.

Horrible primary care and bad office staff. They take weeks to respond to simple inquiries, took 6-7 months to figure out where my x rays from Desert Radiology went and to get test results, misdiagnosed my shoulder problems, the list goes on. After I brought up my concerns, I asked for a referral for a urologist and they took two weeks to get back to me and told me the doctor would no longer see me because I hadnt been for a visit recently and that I should go to urgent care if I needed a urologist referral. When I first started, they told me I only need to go once a year for bloodwork and routine checkups, which I did. Very bizarre treatment and would 100% avoid them.

Don't wast your time coming to this chaotic office.
My 71 year old mother needs to get her stomach problem checked out, the nurse gave me a different instruction everytime and sent us running in circles for a whole month. On our last visit they send the wrong order to the lab and when we called them from the lab to get a stomach exam order, but instead they cancelled our appointment for no reason. Their nurses and doctor do not care about their patients at all, every word they say is rude and sarcastic and that is no way to treat any body let alone a 71 year old woman.

Dr Chen is too busy to see an established patient with an emergency. I was told to wait 2 months to see him or go to the ER instead. This defeats the purpose of having a primary care doctor. Your dr should not be so busy that you can not see him. The receptionist couldn’t care any less when I told her that I would no longer be a patient there. It was too close to 5pm and she just wanted to hang up the phone. Our medical system is severely flawed and this is a prime example. Now I’m headed to the ER just so they can send me home with a bill likely to be in thousands. I need a doctors office who care more for their patients then how many clients they can have. There is no excuse for a doctors office turning away an existing patient with an emergency. And then have the audacity to say he’s too busy to see me for the next 2 months.

Great staff and convenience of doing lab testing in the same office. Dr Chen is friendly and easy to communicate with. He was slow in getting back to me on a review of X-rays (I had to call and remind his staff three times over several weeks). The same delay this week with a second blood test done one week ago. The staff is always polite when I ask them to remind Dr Chen to review x-rays or lab work. It is also easy to make appointments and I never have to wait long when I come for an appointments. My wife Michelle is also using Dr Chen as her primary care physician and is pleased with him.

I went to see Dr. Chen for pain in my lower back and left abdominal area. Dr. Chen used his experienced to analyze the pain and after a thorough examination, he determined that the pain was most likely caused by muscle stress rather than something more serious, like internal organ problem. As a precaution, however, Dr. Chen ordered a urine test to determine the presence of blood or other matters that can point to malfunction of organs. A day later, Dr. Chen's assistant called to inform that the urine test was normal. This came a great relief as I was worried that I problems with internal organs. Dr. Chen's experience and knowledge in this field helped to identify the issue without the costly procedure and time-consuming analysis such as a CT scan. Dr. Chen is a great doctor.

Dr. Chen listens and communicates with me. The patient/doctor relationship was at first not as thought it could be in the beginning; it was only our first year. I noticed he does have my health in mind. I am healthier than most within my family. However, as time lapsed and there was an issue I had to address. Dr. Chen did not hesitate to be upfront and honest as well as come up with a plan to follow. He cared to follow up on my concerns to rule out any possibilities at guessing. I appreciate that he does break the information down for me. I am glad for the preventative care. He doesn't hold back to get assessments if I have any concerns. I believe he cares about his patients. Sometimes he seems hurried to get to the next and not always explaining, but is getting better.

Dr. Chen's office is very responsive. I had a situation that could not wait for a regular appointment. They were able to work me in on a cancellation. Dr. Chen was great to prescribe an interim medication until my specialist appointment. His staff are extremely helpful with referrals when needed and relaying messages. They always answer the phone and when they tell me they will give me a call back, they really call back. I have had two visits with this so called Dr. On my 2nd visit he referred me to a dietician. That was before he told me he had no idea what was wrong with me and walked out of the room. His nurse said she would give me the name & address of the dietician which I never got. His bedside manners are horrible. His receptionist acts like she doesn't know what she's doing. Well all I have to say is WOW. What a racket. So I am in need of a Physician who can do my annual physicals as well as take care of me internally. Got a call back today saying that the Doc wont see me because I don't have any chronic conditions. Apparently he wants geriatrics or people he can see every 3 months or so - so in other words - PEOPLE HE CAN MAKE MONEY ON.... lol. And they haven't even taken the time to get my medical history! Unbelievable. And he came highly recommended by a friend who currently sees him... I will inform them that they are misguided in their opinion. I am so sick and tired of doctors.... Good luck with this one... just make sure you're deathly sick before you try to make an appointment or they may bounce you.
