We've been going to Fernandez Family Dental for years now, and honestly, this dental practice is THE BEST! When we recently switched insurance, we sadly thought Dr. Sergio Fernandez was no longer in our network, so my husband tried another dentist closer to home instead. That dentist tried to upsell my hubby on unnecessary treatments, and my hubby wasn't happy with the experience at all. Turns out our new insurance's provider list just hadn't been updated--YAYYY, we're so happy Dr. Fernandez was in-network!
Once we figured that out, my husband came back to Dr. Fernandez, who properly diagnosed the actual issue, honestly and without any unnecessary upcharge. Although it's about a 25-minute drive for us, we don't mind at all, because Fernandez Family Dental is worth it for the integrity and quality of care alone.
Dr. Fernandez is professional, humble, kind, and just a genuinely good person and good at what he does, never once made us feel rushed or like a number. The whole team treats you like family, not just another patient on the schedule. Dr. Fernandez and his dental hygienist Liz are so gentle and compassionate, and every staff member is friendly, professional, and amazing. Special shoutout to office manager Lori, who's so sweet and helpful, and the front desk team, Brittany and Lani, who are always warm and on top of everything!
The office is always clean, and they're consistently on time with appointments. If you're looking for a dental office that's kind, friendly, affordable, and actually trustworthy, look no further. My family and I have been going to this dental office for more than 10 years and have always been treated kindly. Especially by Lani and the other ladies at the front desk. The dental hygienist is also very friendly and easy to talk to about anything.. I definitely will continue to come to this office for years and years. I came here a couple years ago for wisdom teeth removal. The process was the most pain i have been in. I can even tell that the assistant was uncomfortable about how much pain i had and this should be going the way it is but it continued. You would think the lead dentist would do something else to ease the pain but he did not and kept pulling. Can't recommend this place. The lead dentist was Steve

I moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and started coming to Phantastic Dental care on Rainbow in 2000. I absolutely love the staff, They have been here since I started coming and that can only tell you that they are happy with their job and it shows. It’s like a little family. My three kids started coming here since they were little and now they’re adults and they continue to come for the same reason as mine. I recommend fantastic dental care to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

This business has more concern over how much money they will make on a service than the interests of the customer. I requested a simple dental bonding to fix a chipped tooth in the front to even things up and they first recommended a crown on both front teeth. Then they would not accept the service because “$70 per tooth isn’t enough for the service.” And that something like that is at least “$250 needed per tooth.” They then said they would do the service if I did alignment on bottom teeth first. They do not have your best interest in mind. If all you need is a basic filling then I’m sure they will suffice.

My experience here was terrible! I never felt heard and they didn't either explain costs fully or they changed the price and did not discuss the change with me. They didn't believe me when I said I needed anxiety medication for my big appointments and then they got frustrated with me because I was an anxious mess. 4 years later, after all those painful root canals, I started having pain in teeth that had been worked on at this office. 2 teeth were in such bad shape that by the time we noticed an issue they couldn't be saved and had to be pulled. A third tooth was saved with a rather expensive and painful retreat. I'm finally feeling better but no thanks goes to the people who work here. Go anywhere else, unless you're into paying out the nose to have your mouth tortured, possibly for years.

You're better off going to a back alley doctor/dentist than you are coming to this god forsaken place. Unhelpful staff, downright abhorrent cleanliness, and a doctor/dentist that you could swear probably got his medical license out of a cereal box. Terrible. Avoid at all costs.

This dental office provide me the worst care ever in my life. I was so depressed when I left the office. I went in for a filling...Oh my God. What a mess. The dentist himself didn't take care of me...it was the assistant. I almost broke down. My tooth is hurting me still right now. I'm going to call my insurance to file a complaint. I will have to set another appointment with another dental office so I can get the tooth removed.

Terrible service, highly NOT recommended. The astounding lack of care for patients and lack of integrity from Paul Phan the dentist astound me. I wouldn't give this place a star if I had the option to. A week ago my mom had taken x-rays of a bad tooth at this establishment, and the dentist was certain which tooth had to be taken out. He told us to come back next week for the appointment to extract the tooth. Fast forward to today, the 11th of November, the appointment happened and turned out Paul took out the wrong tooth and he charged my mom $221 for it. 30 minutes later, my mom reported to him that her tooth was still hurting, he told us to come back and charged us an ADDITIONAL $144 to take out the TRUE bad tooth. So essentially, we lost $221 and one good tooth because of the incompetence of "dentist" Paul here. And after calling him out and asking for a refund, he threatened us, challenged us to sue him. He told us that it was my mom's fault that she pointed to the wrong tooth, well what is the point of the thousand-dollars x-ray machine and 8 years of higher education when you can't even read the diagnostic? He bragged that he has been a dentist for over 20 years, well I'm very sorry that you wasted 2 decades for a profession that you have such a lack of professionalism and heart for. As a Vietnamese just like doctor Phan here, I am very ashamed that he is one of us. It also brings shame to the medical community that this one exists. I have all the proofs, x-rays and receipts at hand. Please steer clear from this establishment, your money is worth so much more than this incompetent mess of a "dentist" :^)

This office was recommended to me by TWO co-workers. So I recently started going to Phantastic Dental. The staff is great. and I got my teeth deep cleaned (no pain)! i was nervous to go, but i have finally found my new dentist!! I like them! They also accept Culinary Insurance and the prices are VERY REASONABLE!!
