My original doctor left the practice and I had to re establish for a new doctor. Appointments were over two months wait and I needed to a see a doctor ASAP. I came to Dr. Pena for a follow-up appointment. I wasn't feeling well that day. I was having difficulty breathing and I had a swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck. Dr. Pena, recognizing that I had pneumonia symptoms put me in a wheelchair himself and rolled me downstairs to the ER. Once there i was told that I was very sick and if I would have waited an hour longer I would have been placed on a ventilator. I truly believe that Doctor Pena saved my life. He went way above and beyond his duty. Thank you for saving my life Doctor Pena! You are my hero, Sir! If you're looking for a doctor who cares about your well-being, then Doctor Pena is the doctor you want, in fact he is the doctor you need!

Dr. Lu and Louisa are amazing as always!!! Always so kind and attentive to their patients, which really makes a big difference when it comes to care. I had such a wonderful experience at this office! From the moment I walked in, Sabrina and Amelia were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They truly made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout my visit. Their positive attitudes and genuine compassion really stood out and made the experience so much better.

My physician, Dr. Liayange, was absolutely amazing as well. He took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns, answered my questions thoroughly, and made me feel heard and respected. It’s rare to find a medical team that is both efficient and so compassionate.

My recent experience with this practice has been very positive. Dr. Liyanage is knowledgeable and professional, but also a great listener. I feel I'm getting very expert medical care.

But often the "system" breaks down with the support staff, and in the past I've had some communication issues. More recently, however, Alison has been my liaison. She's everything you'd want in that role: friendly, responsive, and professional. She's the glue that makes a doctor-patient relationship work, and this practice is lucky to have her!

I really like this office. Some of the front staff is nice. Sometimes calling can be a hassle, But I understand the medical field can be EXHAUSTING with phone calls and some clients. Dr. Gadde was amazing and truly took the time to care for me and listen to all my concerns. The medical assistant(?) was also wonderful! I don’t remember her name but she was so sweet and upbeat, I loved it! I’m glad I’ve found a doctors office that I trust and have pleasant experiences at.

My first experience was very pleasant. I schedule my appointment online, came in a little early to fill out new-patient paperwork, and was promptly seen for my 10:20am appointment. The woman at the front desk was courteous and helpful, and Evelyn was thoughtful and thorough in preparing me for the doctor. Dr. Lu was likewise thoughtful and thorough, and asked a lot of great questions about my health, medications, and current issues. I got a call regarding my referral to a specialist just a couple days after my appointment. So far so good.

I have had a good experience with my providers at this office but getting a hold of the referral department is very difficult. They do not follow up on referrals in a timely manner and they also don’t check to make sure that you’re insurance participates with the referring office . I have been trying to call the referral department for this office for weeks. I leave voicemails and no one calls me back.

I haven't had any problems with them so far. The front desk employees are nice and I haven't had to wait in the waiting room very long at all. The nurses have been nice abd my doctors have been great. I feel comfortable coming back. I actually don't feel like I've had my time wasted, rushed, or feel like I have my questions ignored. I also don't have to wait 30 min to an hour like other offices!

I went in to this office so that I could be seen for back pain that I have had for a while now. The assistant or whoever fills out the referral didn't do it accurately. Which is fine. Ok I understand mistakes happen. But when I am seen for back pain and you fail to list back pain on the referral the physical therapy place cannot take that referral!

It's impossible to get through to anyone that can actually help. It doesn't seem that difficult to add the diagnosis code of back pain that you have listed on the appointment details on the patient portal but don't have listed on the actual referral!

They claim that for any questions or issues with existing referrals that the turnaround time is 24-48 hours. It's been over a week and I have yet to receive a return call or a return message via the patient portal. They continue to say that they can send a message back to the doctor and/or his assistant but no one has returned my calls, messages, or emails! They sent a message to the office manager and the office manager did not respond. Today they are sending a message back to the "Operations Manager." I doubt I will hear from that person either. I don't want to waste my time going down to the office for them NOT to be able to help me in person either. I asked the person on the phone if that would help and they said no. I asked what I can do next..and they said they don't have an answer for me!

This place is seriously a joke. I was shocked and excited that I was able to book an appointment and not have to wait for several months to be seen. But unfortunately, after being seen I know why there wasn't a long wait. Dr. Pena does not listen and wanted to do have the same exact bloodwork done as his initial appointment but I told him I could give him the labcorp results from 3 weeks of the same bloodwork that was just done. I am seeing a few different physicans for different health issues so I get bloodwork done often. He ignored me and gave me the labcorp order requistion anyway. I faxed in the existing bloodwork to their office and have heard nothing and I have called numerous times about it!

So difficult to reach anyone at this facility they have a message that’s states they are busy or closed which they are on lunch all together from 1-2 or 12-1 it’s hard to say since they never answer any how and when they do they place you on long holds today I was advised to wait because (4) callers were ahead of me waited over an hour and then line disconnected every time it tried to call back the line was busy, wouldn’t connect or I received the busy message. Dr. Lu referred me in May to specialty drs I had to jump through hoops to get this info last week just for the doctors to tell me they don’t accept insurance … I love worked in multiple doctor offices and this is unacceptable and negligence

I just tested positive for Covin 19. I have been on hold for 25 minutes. Dr Pena's staff will be the death of me and probably others. The incompetence is another sign that no one cares.
You can't get through whenever you call.
So now I'll look online to find advice instead of my doctor. Ask yourself WHY the medical community sunk this low. Be careful there's no one to help you!

I have been calling for two weeks to reschedule my appointment. Every time I call, they place me on hold. On one call, I waited over 25 minutes and was hung up on. Today, I am calling and wait for about 5 minutes then it hangs up. Otherwise, no one answers. The doctor isn't that great either. Highly recommend you go somewhere else. Terrible customer service. I am trying to prevent being charged and trying to reschedule by doing this in advance but they are making it impossible.

This office was ok in April now here it is the end of June and it's horrible. You can't get through to the office and if and I mean if you do you get out on hold for over 25/30 min without speaking to anyone. They NEVER return calls EVER! I changed from Southwest Medical because they were horrible and now Healthcare Partners (N.Durango) is just as bad or worse. RIDICULOUS plus the doc screwed up my disability form and i got denied and when need it fixed it's like torture trying to get them to do anything. I've been out of work with no money since April and it's their fault I haven't received anything. Thank God my insurance changed... finding a new facility... and good doc offices out there??

This is the worst group I've ever seen! My mom is in a rehab facility and is extremely confused (she's 94 and just about 4 days post hip surgery). She keeps trying to get out of bed, rips out her IV line and we're fearful she will fall. We keep trying to reach Healthcare Partners to have the doctor prescribe a sedative. We have called them anout four times and they do nothing! If my mom falls, I will have my attorney file a law suit against Healthcare Partners!

Constantly running behind and even though I come on time or early it's always an hour plus wait! Why even have appointments? I can see 15 minutes or so behind but longer then that is just ridiculous. I should get my co pay back and a $10 inconvenience fee for every 20 minutes I have to wait!
