Dr Lee saw me in an emergency situation. I was traveling and asked a friend in the Vegas area whether she could recommend a dentist. She wrote me that she had the BEST dentist, and she was right. Dr. Lee's staff scheduled me for an appointment,. There are a team of dentists. Very clean facilities. Dr. Lee was very professional and highly skilled. I knew that I was in good hands. After being X rayed I was treated. No pain, great results and a very reasonable charge. I can't recommend her enough.

First off, receptionists answer the phones quickly, are knowledgeable and kind and they don’t keep you waiting on hold forever like other places. Upon arrival, again, the customer service is exceptional. Brought in one of my teenagers for an important procedure and they were able to book an appointment for him sooner than I thought. The staff and Dr. Lee were exceptional in every way. My dental plan was laid out and explained in detail, my financing was approved in minutes, surprisingly to me! Dr. Lee, a las vegan managed the impressions, the extractions and the meticulous preparation of my new teeth that fit perfectly all while managing my fears. I recently had an appointment at Las Vegas Modern Smiles Dentistry to get a cleaning and x-rays, and I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff. In the past, I have been so nervous and uncomfortable going to see the dentist. This was my first visit to this office.. Great Experience!. There's lots of parking available since it's in a big shopping center. Office is nice, bright, clean, and quiet. Arianna greeted me with her beautiful smile., she was very pleasant, and very helpful in checking me in. Chrissy who was just as pleasant took the x-rays. she was moving along very quick, gentle and painless (making sure it wasn't hurting). She then offered me some coffee, while I waited to see Dr Lee.
I was very impressed as to how organized they were. Everything at a scheduled pace and I didn't have to wait long, as in most offices.
Dr Lee sat down, took her time and explained what we were looking at on the x-rays, what needed to be done, what she recommended, and answered all my questions. I was happy to find out they even had a special which help reduce the price significantly., Arianna then showed me their calendar chart as to what time and dates were available ,which made it a lot easier to schedule my next appointment.. I NEVER leave reviews, but this was a GREAT experience! I was long overdue to see a dentist, and they reached out and got me in at my earliest convenience. When I arrived, the receptionist was so incredibly friendly and professional! Getting the xrays done is usually worst part for me...they cut the roof of my mouth and make me gaggy, but Chrissy got them done so easy I was SHOCKED when it was done and the worst part never came. I had a cavity and needed a deep cleaning and I expected as much, but Dr. Quinn got me completely numb (I don't always numb right) and REALLY put the effort in to cleaning my teeth- didn't shame me for it and didn't cut the corners to get it over with. I felt like that had to be a workout going that long and with that pressure. The filling feels just right in my mouth too. THIS WAS THE BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD (with the exception of being told you're all good) and it is because of the Dentist and staff. Thank you and I will be back!

They have very updated and efficient equipment and it made the whole process a snap. Chrissy - the Dental Asst - couldn’t have been sweeter. Unfortunately, I had to make a review even though I loved it. I haven't been to the dentist since i was a kid, mainly because I've heard so many experiences with dentist offices lying about prices. That sadly happened here with me when I finally had the courage to fix my teeth. I repeatly asked the dentist and the receptionist if everything would be covered with my insurance. I asked them this THREE times. They told me I would only pay out of pocket a little less than 400 dollars. My visit was in July and October. Just yesterday I received a text I have an outstanding balance of 1200 dollars. I'm curious if I'll get a bill for my October visit because it was a regular cleaning that "was covered" with my insurance as well. I have united healthcare and no it wasn't the cheap kind either. I called my mom (im a dependant) and she told me that she has the insurance United healthcare literally recommended her. You know the recommended kind cant be cheap. My teeth should've sparkled like diamonds with debt I have.

I want to share my experience so others can walk in prepared and informed, it’s a long read but worth it to the right customer.

I came to this office as someone who grew up with very limited access to dental care. As a child, I didn’t receive regular checkups or preventive treatment, and now as an adult, I am doing the work to repair years of untreated decay. I was transparent and vulnerable about this from the very beginning. I thought I had found an office that understood my situation and truly cared.

However, my experience turned into what felt like a bait-and-switch.

I was initially told that the “We Serve” charity program would cover multiple bridges and restorative work. This was a major factor in why I agreed to treatment and began paying out of pocket for extractions and a root canal upfront.

But once I was financially committed and the procedures had already started, the story changed. I was informed that only one bridge would be “donated,” and everything else would be my responsibility. It was explained to me as being “too much” for one provider to take on, even though that was the original understanding I was given.

Every time I came in, the treatment plan or coverage details shifted. The language went from “We’re here to help you” to “This is already a lot we’re doing for you.” That shift felt dismissive and manipulative. It made me feel like I was supposed to be grateful for less than what was promised, and it placed the burden of miscommunication back onto me.

I understood I needed extensive care and was ready and willing to commit to the process, but I can’t get over the manipulation which is a BIG NO for me under ANY circumstances. It made me lose trust, and this journey is too important, too big and too EXPENSIVE for me to do it with an office I cant trust.

I understand business overhead, time, cost of materials, and what it means to take a loss — I run a service-based business myself. My issue is not that things changed; my issue is how it changed and when it changed — after I was already emotionally invested and financially committed.

If you decide to come here, my advice is this:

Leave your emotions at the door.
Get everything in writing.
Ask direct questions.
And make sure you understand what is actually guaranteed versus what is simply being “hoped for.”
You ARE NOT an exception if it happened to multiple costumers, it CAN happen to you.

Do not assume empathy equals clarity.
Do not assume compassion equals stability.

The work I did receive was handled professionally, but the communication and shifting expectations left me feeling misled at a time when I was already vulnerable and trying to do the right thing for my health.

I’m choosing to continue my care elsewhere.
I hope this helps someone else move forward with a clearer mind than I had 🩵💫

Came in for my teeth cleaning today saw Dr. Lee. Doctor was very gentle informative and really nice. I really liked the office vibe! What a great dental office!!! Dr.Lee and staff were so kind to work me in on a Saturday when I had a temporary crown come off. Being from out of town, I was so appreciative of the care I got when I wasn't even one of their current patients. It was my first time with Dr. Quinn at this location. Dr. Timothy was nice but now he left. Dr. Quinn was kind to both my wife and I. She was caring and considerate to my sensitivity to the cold 🥶 water temperature and did a manual cleaning without the cold water temperature. She also answered all of my questions and the questions I had for my wife’s treatment. She is the best I will definitely recommend her to all of my customers. The front desk receptionist Jackie was kind to both my wife and I, she helped us pick the next best day for our next appointment and for my wife to see a specialist. Dr Pryor is amazing. Went there last year and saw another dentist and he was not nice or helpful. To say I neglected my teeth isn’t understatement. I don’t like dentist and I always had great teeth but over time of neglect, I knew I had to go. Well the new dentist treated me like a human being and made me feel at ease. He said they are his teeth now. Well after my first deep cleaning I felt awesome and already feel like he can help me get back my perfect smile again. The costs are lower than other dentists and they worked with my limited dental insurance. Please give them another try, you won’t regret it!

This was my first visit. I'm not a fan of going to the Dentist, but from the time I walked into the location on N Rainbow Blvd to the time I left my experience was exceptional! Very clean and welcoming staff. The Dentist is chill, professional and is a caring man! He personally performed my cleaning, that's a first for me! Great people to work with. They really did go above and beyond and we're very attentive, explained everything about what was going on and options available to me. Their staff are experienced and very detailed. Dr. Tim sucks. They just trying to get that insurance money. It took an hour after my appointment time to even see me and he rambles forever about things that do not matter. I was at this appointment for 90 minutes and I had nothing even done. Ultimately they refused to do a basic cleaning on me because they recommended a deep cleaning that would cost me $500 after insurance and they wouldn't do anything else but that. I walked out.

I've been coming to this dentist for years. Every one in the office is so nice. The dentist Timothy I'm not pleased with I had cleaning scheduled for today 3/1/24
I took off from work go for regular cleaning and was told you need to have the scaling cleaning i said that is not what I was told when I made the appointment.
And he said you need new x-rays we haven't had any since August, they did full x-rays in Jan 2024 because I had an emergency tooth pulled. So they did the x-rays again today and he told me about cracked teeth and a bunch of issues that he seen, I said you didn't mention this in January. All he kept saying how would you like to proceed I said what are my options he said pull or crown, I said I'll probably get them crowned but not today. I said sometime this year. I said just a regular cleaning today. He refused and said the scaling cleaning or nothing and literally walked out. I'm floored by his horrible demeanor and has me almost in tears.
I took off from work for this appointment.
It's my teeth shouldn't I be able to decide what cleaning treatment I want.
Absolutely horrible. Unfortunately I'm already looking for a new dentist until he is replaced. Seems to me since I didn't want any of the procedures not covered by my insurance he declined to clean my teeth. What's that called upcharges.

I went in for a cleaning. My insurance covers two cleanings a year. They took x-rays and I have no cavities. The dentist and office staff wanted to upsell me on a laser gum treatment that wasn't covered by my insurance. I declined and told them I just want the cleaning. They refused to clean my teeth unless I bought the $960.00 laser gum treatment. Horrible!

ZERO STARS PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
I’ve been to this office a few times over the past year and scheduling has become more of an issue this year. Earlier in February I walked out because I still hadn’t been seen after waiting 90 minutes with no update. I came back finally in August to deal with some issues. The doctor (Luong) was RUDE in his delivery and had me in tears. Mind you he was NOT there in February so this was our first interaction. I have been dealing with issues for the past few years and oral health obviously was hurt. When he saw me visibly upset he then softened his delivery.
Fast forward two weeks later I arrive for my root canal & crown and was seen an HOUR later than my scheduled time. My root canal started an hour later at 3pm and when that was done the doctor had me waiting for another THREE hours! I kept asking for updates and the assistants answered “I don’t know what to tell you”. Even after the rude comment I still stayed because I took the day off work and I needed the work done. I waited an additional 40 minutes for an ibuprofen after I had to get up and ask the receptionist for one because NO dental assistants were around. When the dental assistant brought the medicine she indicated it would be ANOTHER HOUR POSSIBLY. I got visibly upset and walked out after waiting 4 hours (2-6pm).

I was ASSURED by the Front desk MANAGER I would NOT be billed for the crown ONLY for the root canal. I get a call from my new dentist who states LVMS DID in fact bill for the crown so now I either pay out of pocket or wait another year.

I have been going to this office for years and have been treated by multiple dentists with out any issues, however, I scheduled and appointment with Megan at 1pm and had advised her that the reason for my visit was for multiple fillings and asked if the dentists would be able to do all of the fillings on the day of the appointment. Magan said yes and the appointment was scheduled. The dentist Timothy Luong comes in and asked me for the purpose of my visit and what was my priority. I explained my concerns and priorities. He stated I would need a crown and the rest of the fillings were not needed in his opinion however he would proceed with the filling if I waited for him. He advised he had other people waiting and my options at that point would be to wait for him or reschedule. This was very disappointing as I had to take time off of work to attend the scheduled appointment. In addition this doctor demeanor and analogy were unnecessary and sarcastic. I ended up walking out as I would not be comfortable with the dentists doing any work on my teeth. I will not go back to that office until Timothy Luong is gone and given his attitude would imagine it will be soon. Very disappointed that Megan overbooked and that the dentists was unapproachable and almost combative.

I came to Modern Dental as an Extremely Emergent Patient. I had broken two upper teeth right before I was headed on Vacation. So I looked frantically and found Dr. Luong and his practice. I am completely blown away about how kind these people are, even Dr. Luong is so attentive and Caring. He texted me checking on me and making sure I was ok and making sure I got my prescriptions or if I needed anything. He’s an amazing doctor. He also makes sure you’re comfortable through you’re procedure (as someone with Dental Anxiety) by asking if I was ok or comfortable or needed anything. I was also offered a blanket at the beginning of my procedure. They’re very thorough and very gentle and make sure you know exactly what’s going on!
Renee, his Hygienist that was in with me was very sweet and very personal. She kept me company (even though it’s her job… she’s a Rockstar!),
comfortable and we joked around about some funny stuff. They’re all so kind. From Pricilla in the front of the office to Dr. Luong. You know how dentists or Dr.’s just disappear after and you don’t see them? He never Did. He was so kind!

This was my experience of my actual procedure day and I am extremely grateful to these human beings for being so attentive and kind.

Thank you and I’m glad I FINALLY have an amazing Dentist and won’t be without one now!!Thank you guys! I love my new Dental Family! If you need a great Dentist or have an Emergency Call Dr. Leong, and his amazing Team!

If you are worried about going to the dentist and worried about discomfort and pain I advise you to come here!! Went in today because I cracked a tooth. Unsure of what to expect the Modern smiles team exceeded my expectations and Dr. Luong carefully and gently inspected my tooth and advised me that further steps may be to may need to be taken. Dr. Luong swiftly and with minimal pain was able to complete my root canal. I was quite taken back on how quickly he was able to complete it and able to get a crown set in place! Had a fantastic experience here. After 2 other oral surgeons told me they would only extract my wisdom tooth under general anesthesia (something I'm terrified of), Dr. Sumner extracted it under local sedation in under 2 minutes.

Dr. Sumner did everything he could to make me feel at ease and explained what he was doing along the way.

I'll put it very simply for everyone.

Root canal and crown.

The speed at which Dr. Luong worked at was very impressive. I expected to be there for about 5 hours, and not counting the time it took to make the crown, in-house mind you - I counted slightly more than 2. The professionalism, courtesy, communication, and the effort to ensure comfortably was equally impressive.

The best part without a second thought - no pain. NONE. Not even a tickle. That's reason enough by itself to go here.

They are also willing to work with you and your insurance to get you going and payments best suited for you, not them.

I have been seeing this dentist for over a year and they continue to impress. Highly recommend for those in the Las Vegas Valley, worth the trek from Henderson and Pahrump.

Dentist looked at the films and poked my gums and said there's no cavities, but it's been awhile since your last visit, you could use a deep clean

Them_ No, it's a deep clean like the dentist recommend or nothing
So me _ paid 70 for x-rays and hearing there's no cavities but didn't even get my teeth flossed. Seems sketch and the office smelled, I'll go elsewhere

I had to come in for a new crown (done by a different dental office) and Dr. Faddis was absolutely amazing. He was thorough in his explanation of the process. He took the steps to make sure that going forward I would not have the same problem. I could not be happier with the results of my new crown. Stephanie, my dental assistant is fantastic. She always makes me feel like I’m hanging out with a good friend when I come in.

The front desk staff is also great. Always super welcoming and accommodating. Alyssa and Wendy are gems!

I am so happy going to Modern Smiles Dentistry my implants and clowns. The work is amazingly great and the staff was so nice. Highly recommend Dr. Rogers and his team at north Rainbow Office.

In all my years I have always hated having my teeth worked on. Today is the first day in my history that I smiled inside the whole visit. I was there for a couple hours and not once was I nervous or upset. Amazing Doctor H and the girls and other staff were just amazing. So happy. Can't wait for my next visit!!

Dr. Hoang is hands down one of the most detailed, patient, professional and coolest dentist I’ve had in almost 40 years! His chair-side manor and professional decorum is A-1. Thanks to the Administrative staff and Crystal J. we were able to achieve a more than reasonably priced treatment plan. Like many I’ve had a few bad experiences with dentist misdiagnosing or price gouging. This practice aims to please and Dr. Hoang’s integrity level ensures that all diagnosis are accurate and in the best interest of the patient. I recommend LVMSD for all of your dental needs.
