Dr. Hargrave is the kindest dentist I’ve ever encountered. As one who’s lived in the LV Valley for 26 years I’ve unfortunately seen more than my fair share of dentists, searching for an office such as this one. We live in Boulder City and I’ve been to see a couple here and in Henderson which suffice it to say, turned out to be huge mistakes. We’re talking a dental office root canal which was nightmarish to another one who sold me an expensive partial which never fit properly and caused a gum infection. Finally decided it was worth the drive into Vegas since my daughter & son-in-law recommended Dr. Hargrave. Let’s face it, we’ve all had doctors we liked with less than adequate staff, however, this office has a staff which reflects the quality of their doctor. If you leave a message on their office answering machine or if you visit their website and leave a message via email, you will always get a quick response. Danielle, the office manager is incredibly helpful and responsive to your needs and strives to accommodate you. Erica, his assistant is patient and compassionate and he has dental hygienists who don’t make me dread cleanings any longer. Thank you, Roberta! The office is always spotless (germaphobe here) and I’ve never had to wait even when they’re kind enough to work me in. May I also mention that the treatment rooms are individual, not one large room where you can see and hear other people being worked on. If you’re looking for a dentist who will provide you with a positive experience, look no further, I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied with Dr. Hargrave’s office.

My experience at Silver Creek Dental was truly night and day compared to the dental practices I’ve visited in the past. I had never experienced this level of personalized care before.

Everyone was incredibly personable. Dr. Hargrave has such a warm, positive energy—you can tell he genuinely loves what he does.

My experience with my hygienist, Berta, was unlike anything I’ve ever had at a dental appointment. She educated me and explained what she was doing during every step. I’ve always been curious about the process, but no hygienist has ever taken the time to walk me through everything the way she did.

At other practices, my appointments often felt like, “Alright, let’s get you in and out.” Berta took her time conducting a thorough assessment to determine the level of treatment I actually needed. Nothing felt rushed, and for the first time, I felt a genuine level of care and attention.

I am still completely mind-blown by the entire experience! I waited two months for my first appointment, and after today’s visit, I completely understand why. Silver Creek Dental is absolutely worth the wait!

Dr. Hargrave should DEFINITELY get Dentist of the Year award! A VERY patient man with a good sense of humor and he listens. His staff especially Erica who assists him is very easy to talk to and kind. No one likes going to the dentist but if you have to consider going to this one. Also, Roberta (hygienist) was very thorough who did my teeth cleaning and tried really hard for a patient who has teeth sensitivity, did a very good job on making sure I was comfortable and went slow. Thankful for teeth and gum numbing and that she worked in sections. The other hygienist was nice too but I can't speak to her cleaning techniques but my son said, she did a good job. :) And, lets not forget his wife who works the front office and answers the phones. She is very nice, understands peoples schedules and does her best to accommodate as well as keeps a wait list and checks it daily. Ratings are usually 5/5 but in this case its 10/10.

Edit: I had my 3rd appointment today for a cleaning, follow up from my crown that needed to be replaced and to pick up my mouthguard. Dr. Hardgrave is the most patient person ever. He pays attention to detail and fixed a problem that I’ve had for years with one of my upper and lower teeth hitting and causing me pain every day…that problem is now solved and I am completely out of that torture. I cannot recommend this practice enough. I would give 10 stars if I could.

A couple of years ago, another dentist told me I had multiple cavities. My spouse felt something wasn’t right and encouraged me to get a second opinion.
This place examined me thoroughly and told me I had no cavities at all—a complete opposite from what I’d been told before. The entire team is friendly, honest, and takes the time to teach me about my dental health.

I have been a patient of DR Hargrave at Silver Creek Dental for about 15 years, and I have always have excellent experiences, but my visit today really stood out.
A couple of weeks ago I needed a dental impression done. I had a really difficult time with it. I was gagging and choking and unfortunately it had to be done over. Instead of having an assistant handle it, Dr Hargrave stepped in personally. He stayed with me the entire time, he held the impression himself, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible the entire time.
That level of care, patience and attention meant so much to me. It’s rare to see that kind of hands in dedication, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients.
He is truly a gifted dentist. I highly recommend him.

I’ll admit, I usually dislike going to the dentist—but my experience here completely changed that. The doctor was fantastic, and the entire staff, from the hygienist to the front desk, were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for every step of the way. I highly recommend this dental office!

Amazing dental office! Everyone here is so nice! Danielle helped me with my root canal appointment at Shipp endodontics.
I can't remember the nice young lady that did the x-rays name, but she was so nice and understanding. She explained everything to me.
Dr. Hargrave is awesome! So very nice and funny as well! I will definitely be returning to this office. My husband is going to them as well!

I LOVE the service and the dentists here!! I came here twice and it was all love until my last visit. I was charged $50 for a late cancellation fee (i cancelled the day before i believe) I understand policy 100% i had been in a recent car accident which was my cancellation reason so i wanted to see if it could be waived. The receptionist said it did NOT MATTER that emergency cases still undergo policy. I wish I could come back but after that i was really just sad :( i feel like there should be moments where things like that could be waived. Either way it’s my fault and the work here is still phenomenal

Finding a new dentist can be so scary and Dr. Harvgraves and his team are phenomenal! Not only did they actually follow-up to get me in sooner due to a cancellation, but they are so kind and so caring. Dr. Hargraves is such a kind energy and happy to answer questions; Melissa was my hygienists and she’s so great to talk to and respected my request for numbing gel due to my sensitivity. She was happy to let me know how to improve my dental health but also let me know what I was doing well. I certainly have no fear returning to Silver Creek Dental and would refer anyone there.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Hargrave and it was a great experience. I had an emergency appointment as my tooth broke. They got me at my earliest convenience as it’s usually the other way around. From the moment I walked in the front staff was amazing. I’m one who doesn’t like going to the dentist as I get super nervous and anxious; I felt so comfortable and at ease. Thankful for Silver Creek. I go back next week for my crown and can’t wait! This is a beautiful solo dentist office where they don't try to run up bills on you. It is hard to find such a great dentist like this any longer. Everybody is super friendly he actually has multiple hygienists on staff who take their time and do a thorough job cleaning your teeth. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

My brother's been going to Silver Creek Dental for quite some time and referred me. I couldn't be happier, Dr Hargrave is The creme de la creme of Drs, makes you feel welcome from the get-go. I normally get so anxious when I just sit in the dentist chair. But I didn't today. First time I can remember that happening and over 30 years. The staff is very friendly and not stuffy make you feel welcome from jump start. Unlike any dentist office I've been to in the past. The hygienist Pam the doctor's assistant and the ladies (Mrs Hargrave being one of them) at the front desk we're consummate professionals. This team is in a league of their own, I've lived in 7 different cities had 9 dentist and the doctor and his staff smoked them all hands down. I'm no longer conscientious about my smile after first day in the chair. This is where you want to be in the future for you and your families dental work, no question.
