Dr. Shin is excellent, I had Strabismus surgery 6 weeks ago and wish I'd had it sooner. Life changing for me and I am very grateful to her and her fantastic staff. Very professional!

Dr. Shin helped us a while ago with our daughter's eyes. No other doctor was able to figure out why my daughter continued to get Styes on her eyelids. Our daughter was 4 years old at that time and we felt hopeless. I found Dr. Shin through our Culinary insurance and at that time we lived way across town but we didn't care we knew we couldn't lose hope. The first 5 mins when Dr. Shin evaluated her she automatically knew what was wrong. We were so thankful. The eye ointments she prescribed worked miracles, the eye wipes she provided. We saw immediate change after 1 day of using the medicine. My daughter's eyes got better within the month. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Shin! Hands down she's the best!!!

Dr Shin Is a very good ophthalmologist. The whole office is friendly.. Doctor Shin Completed 2 eye surgeries for me. And yearly check ups. She is the only Doctor in the building and she's great.. If you have any kind of eye problems I highly recommend her.. She has more energy then have the population of Nevada together. Every year I go for my check up she looks younger It's truly amazing. But that isn't important her skills as a eye Doctor are outstanding... I have referred many people to her And they were all happy and are repeating Patient's now.

Don't listen to the bullshit fake reviews. I don't believe the Doctor's office can respond to any of the reviews because of hippa...

Dr. Shin and her staff are so great. I had a foreign body stuck underneath my eyelid for 2 days. I was able to get in to see her on the same day I called for an appointment. Her staff was very friendly and Dr. Shin was able to get a little piece of plastic out of my lid. I feel so much better. Thank you, Ideal EyeCare for attending to me so quickly. You guys are the best!

If you're new in town, please come here first and skip some of the dirty, fungal swamps doing business around town! Ours had nothing but contempt for us as they constantly rescheduled our appointments and sent us adventuring miles across town to accommodate them and their "doctors". When I grew some self -respect and had had enough I made an appointment with Dr. Shin.
We were in trouble at this point due to our shabby treatment at the Swamp and seeing out of only one eye is not only inconvenient but hazardous. Dr. Shin took us right in and made room for us. We had a thorough and lengthy eye exam by a friendly technician named Jackie and I started to relax a little; maybe Vegas has real doctors after all...
Then Dr. Shin came in the room! WoW!!! This attractive, well -heeled woman was full of happiness and energy despite the time being well past 5 pm. She took her time with us despite this and we didn't leave her office until after 6... REALLY??? It was stunning being treated like this after what we had been through! I pulled in an unmanly tear as we said goodbye as it was so nice to be treated like a person again! When we came back three days later the improvement was NIGHT AND DAY and off came the patch!!! Dr. Shin adopted us as new patients and really took care of us... she also agreed to do a tricky procedure that most doctors don't do! If you want a REAL doctor who cares and does things right (for complete strangers) look no further!

My 7 yo son has been coming here since he was 2 yrs old.

He’s had strabismus surgery with Dr Shin which made a huge difference for him. He is also very nearsighted. I vividly remember how devastated and emotionally distraught I was - when I learned of all this that first office visit. I was very tearful - learning your toddler can hardly see was very difficult to hear. She offered me great comfort, hope, and support as a physician and as a mother.

I feel Dr shin has been incredible for us and cares for my child deeply. She thinks about him and his welfare even between appts.
She calls with new information as new studies are published.

We are very fortunate to have found her and I highly recommend her for pediatric ophthalmology needs.

We gave formed a relationship with her amazing office staff as well - particularly the front desk ladies who know all the kids by name.

I've read some reviews that complain about the wait time. I have been bringing my daughter to Dr.Shin for two years, and although there have been times we had to wait longer than expected we have always recieved the best care from Dr.Shin. She is genuinely concerned about her patients and her assessments have always been detailed and spot on. For those who expect an exceptional doctor to not have a packed schedule, and a compassionate doctor to not have the need to attend to an emergency which may cause a delay in other patients schedules, I'd say, you have unrealistic expectations and have not been to many exceptional doctors. Dr. Shin is is worth the wait. I wouldn't bring my children anywhere else.

Dr. Shin is an excellent surgeon. She, in a very meticulous manner, discussed all of the details entailing the strabismus surgery for my elderly mother. She was also very attentive and patient in the post op appointment. She is warm, friendly and personable, as well as her staff. We traveled from out of state, as I felt she was the most accomplished for this type of surgery.

Dr. Shin is absolutely wonderful with my daughter who has Autism. We have been with Dr. Shin for over 8 years and drive across town because she is a consummate professional. We have lived here for 15 years and are accustomed to high quality health care back East. She is one of the few doctors/specialists out here that exceeds our standards.

Don't go there she has no idea what she doing. I have jelly white stuff building up in eyes causing vision problems she gave me prescription for certain eye drops. Well they didn't work infact made it worse.. went back she wanted me to get another eye drop I asked her to swab and send it in to see what it is and she said there out of the swabs and tube. Told me to come back and I didn't they just want to keep bringing you back and charging insurance wasted time..don't let her beauty fool you into going there.. she's pretty but not knowledgeable

Dr Schin is simply Fabulous!! Had to have a referral from my primary dr! I had been seeing double for years! I didn’t know what was really wrong, only that my vision was so messed up it was hard to even drive! I was finally given prism glasses about 2 years ago, which helped, but finally, was referred to Dr Schin!
I am 66 years old.. I chalked it all up to old age, but this Doc gave me hope!! Within one Month of seeing Dr Schin, she had me in surgery and she has Changed my Life!! She was above and beyond Through!!
She has given me my Life Back!! I will be forever grateful to Grace Schin and her Amazing Staff!!
So many years living with messed up vision!! I Only Wish I could have found her Sooner!!

My one year old has Strabismus, this doctor was recommended by the pediatrician. Made an appointment, paid 200 something dollars, was told her vision was good and that was it. Felt extremely ripped off, Could have gotten an eye exam for $55 to learn her vision was good. Would not recommend. Typical Vegas doctor!

She’s more concerned about injecting Botox and fillers in her 4” heels than taking care of children’s eyes!! She was in such a hurry, she was changing the letters for the eye exam before my child could even read them!! And watch out for her billing department....they’re an absolute joke.
